The programmable processors newest technologies, as for example the multicore Digital Signal Processors (DSP), offer a promising solution for overcoming the complexity of the real time video encoding application. In this paper, the SHVC video encoder was effectively implemented just on a single core among the eight cores of TMS320C6678 DSP for a Common Intermediate Format (CIF)input video sequence resolution(352x288). Performance optimization of the SHVC encoder had reached up 41% compared to its reference software enabling a real-time implementation of the SHVC encoder for CIF input videos sequence resolution. The proposed SHVC implementation was carried out on different quantization parameters (QP). Several experimental tests had proved our performance achievement for real-time encoding on TMS320C6678.

After-sales service (ASS) is a product support activity provided to customers; after-sales service that focuses on quality can create a sustainable competitive advantage. This study aims to the ASS performance, analyze the causes of performance constraints that occur in ASS and recommendations for improving the performance of ASS conceptually. Service partner performance achievement can be assessed from four categories, i.e. very good, good, bad, and poor, based on the actual level of performance compared to performance targets. The sample of this research is 12 ASS partners in the electrical equipment industry in West Java and Jakarta. Factors causing failure were analyzed descriptively using the fault tree analysis (FTA) method, which involved experts in focus group discussions (FGD). Based on the evaluation, 25% of partners were rated good, 50% poor, and 25% very poor. Partner performance achievement is carried out on 22 performance indicators, of which 20 performance indicators have not achieved a good rating. These indicators relate to brand issues, warranty, training, parts control and stock management, pricing, and service systems, including service centers and service facilities. The proposed concept that becomes a recommendation for improving the performance of power tools ASS is improving the operating system and the selection of partners in the service center and service dealer categories with industrial customer segmentation.

The government has designated Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as a non-natural disaster in the form of an outbreak/pandemic, this determination is followed by efforts to prevent the spread of the corona virus through social restrictions, including restrictions on crowds, travel restrictions, implementation of isolation, delays and cancellations. events, as well as the closure of facilities and public service arrangements. This condition also affects the schedule and procedures for immunization services both at posyandu, puskesmas and other health facilities, including private ones). Nationally, Regency/City Immunization Coverage which reaches 80% of complete basic immunization is 37.2% of the target of 79.3% or the percentage of performance achievement is 46.9%. Universal Child Immunization (UCI) Villages are villages where 80% of the total number of infants in the village have received complete basic immunization within one year. The coverage of UCI Villages/Urbans in Buleleng Regency, Bali Province in 2020 is 99.3%, a decrease from 2019 which reached 100%. Through this health education activity, it is expected to increase public knowledge about basic immunization for children during the adaptation period of new habits at the Posyandu, Kekeran Village, Busungbiu District, Buleleng Regency, Bali with various efforts in joint activities with all parties.

Since Merton defined the self-fulfilling prophecy in 1948, it has been adopted to several disciplines, and yet, only a small proportion of researches was built on its original complete notion accurately. Empirical papers even met challenges in proving an important part of it, notably that the initial expectation, that came true unwittingly through the behaviour of participants, had to be “false”. That crucial point is the Achilles heel of self-fulfilling prophecy researches, including its special cases, the Galatea, Golem and Pygmalion effect experiments. The research gave an overview on the self-fulfilling prophecies’ related themes in Educational Research, Psychology and Sociology: interactions/stereotypes–stigmas and performance/ achievement; and aimed to examine the (aggregate) role/potential of “disadvantaged” people (i.e. people with mental, physical, psychological problems, disadvantaged socioeconomic/ familial backgrounds) in inducing the special cases of self-fulfilling prophecy – compared to other participants’ aggregate role/potential across all formerly reviewed studies. To this end, an umbrella review method was implemented, that has been unprecedented in social science. A research evidence-based inclusion–exclusion criteria, a PRISMA 2020-based search strategy, and a two-phase quality appraisal ((1) an author-led PRISMA 2020 assessment, (2) a two-researcher 10-step protocol; results: 4.3–4.4/5) were carried out, leading to a sample of two meta-analyses. The data collection and summary were based on qualitative and quantitative findings. The results showed that the effect sizes in “disadvantaged” experiments (d between 1.38–2.20) exceeded overall effect sizes of meta-analyses (d1 = 0.81, d 2 = 1.13) and of most studies in their samples. With regard to that Merton’s “initially false conceptions” can/could be completely incorporated into the research design only when the “disadvantaged” are/were the subject of these experiments – i.e. indeed a self-fulfilling prophecy is/was measured –, the final conclusion is that the “disadvantaged” are actually “the most advantaged” people in inducing the positive cases of self-fulfilling prophecy, particularly Pygmalion effect.

This research is a design of a display cabinet cooling system with integrated energy from PLN electricity and solar power. This equipment is used for displaying marine fish and other fresh sea food in restaurants or cafes in support of Balinese culinary specialties, namely grilled fish and seafood which are very well known and can be a very extraordinary carrying capacity for Bali tourism. This cooling system is designed to be able to maintain the temperature of the cooling room (cabin) up to -5 oC. This is in accordance with the standards for storing fresh sea fish and sea food in a temperature range of -2oC to 2oC, where fish and sea food are still in a very fresh condition for an average of 1 week. Other standards to maintain product freshness also require room humidity between RH 90% – RH 95%. Furthermore, data collection on system performance is carried out using the commissioning test method to determine the initial performance achievement of the tool so that its shortcomings can be evaluated which will be developed and corrected in further research. From the research, it is found that the temperature achievement is very good, the solar and PLN integration system with the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) control system has also worked well where the switch occurs when the battery charging condition is below 30% or below 10V. However, something that has not been achieved is the humidity in this system, the average relative humidity (RH) is 50% so that the final condition of the product becomes dry on the surface of the fish. This relatively low humidity is due to the fact that it still relies on the humidity increase system by opening the cooler cabin door. In the next development, the right humidifier system will be designed for this display cabinet system.
