Abstract Over the years, the media has positioned itself as the fourth power in the world to be a transmitting tool of "valuable" content for society. This content is deployed in different genres, with the aim of transmitting messages, imparting concepts and entertaining, using different techniques, especially cartoons, to capture in their audience the childhood, especially. These drawings are produced in a variety of colors, sizes and themes, often presenting content not suitable for your audience. This research proposes, first, a classification of these cartoons, according to their content. And second, understand the cartoon preferences that sixth grade students from urban official elementary schools demonstrate. The research focused on two case studies, the highest and lowest score according to TERCE tests.

Many students in the world have difficulty in solving word problems, including students in Indonesia. TIMSS has shown that only eight percent of Indonesian participants are able to solve word problems, this result is hugely lower than the international average of 18 percent. One of the factors that cause students' errors in solving word problems is mathematical resilience. Thus, this study aims to analyze students' misconceptions in solving word problems viewed by their mathematical strength. This study was conducted for sixth-grade students in one of the elementary schools in Bandung. This study was qualitative descriptive research. In this study, there were four steps: selecting the word problems, answering the issues, filling out a mathematical resilience questionnaire, and interviewing. Students were encouraged to respond to a three-word question within 30 minutes, filling out a mathematical resilience questionnaire followed by the interview. This study showed that the students' errors in solving word problems were including comprehension, transformation, and process skill errors. Based on mathematical resilience, students with a low level of resilience predominantly carried out comprehension errors. In contrast, students with a moderate level of resilience more dominant made transformation errors. Meanwhile, students with high resilience completed more questions correctly, although several students seemed to have made process skills errors. This study's limitation is the data obtained online so that the respondents completed the instrument exceeds the given time. Further researches are suggested to conduct directly in the classroom to maximize the accuracy of the study.

Take an incredible true adventure; add a lot of estimation and hands-on measurement; stir in parts of reading, writing, history, geography, and science; and one has the recipe for a powerful mathematics lesson. Shipwreck at the Bottom of the World is an extraordinary true story by Jennifer Armstrong. The book follows the story of Ernest Shackleton and 27 men who set out in 1914 to become the first people to cross Antarctica. Instead, their ship, the Endurance, became trapped in the ice and sank, leaving the crew who had no way to communicate with the outside world to find a way back to civilization. They made their way across ice floes and wild seas to an island where 22 of the men made camp to wait. Shackleton and 5 of his crew then set out in a 20-foot boat to cross 800 miles of ocean to find help. Nearly 2 years after the expedition began, the last of the crew were rescued, and all 28 men survived! For a week, in lieu of regular mathematics class and the time when teacher Karen Grokett normally reads to her sixth-grade students at Chase County Middle School in Strong City, Kansas, we went on a daily mathematics adventure. By doing a little planning and by inviting questions to encourage student inquiry, the lesson took on a remarkable life of its own.

More than a year has passed since the appearance of disease called COVID-19 in the world. This disease became the reason for unprecedented measures taken so far, having received the classification of pandemic. The world has faced with pandemics before, but society has not yet taken such unprecedented restrictive measures. The restrictions of not only local but even of global nature, such as the suspension of international flights, various scientific and political events were adopted around the world. Media resources have played a key role in the formation and development of the attitude towards the disease in people. Despite all the depressing news, the facts showed a low mortality rate, which is often ignored by the media. As a result, medical staff around the world have faced psychological health issues among the different groups of the population, especially vulnerable ones such as people with chronic disease and with weak immunity. At present, it is early to talk about the results and outcomes of the pandemic. However, previous year has taught us many lessons and can become a key factor in understanding the role of the media in pandemic times, developing strategies for combating diseases and protecting public health.

Keywords: Business, globalization, Information technology, Innovation.Abstract: This article presents the reasons why globalization has not only become the most recurrent theme of social scientists in the department issues and matters of political debate, but commonplace in the media which has passed into everyday language and family conversations. Aguilar (2002) says that globalization, as God, is omnipresent and omniscient somehow, since it would seem to explain everything that happens in the world, also over powerfully, because of its defenders say, nothing can be opposed to the force of globalization and the contrary it is a new way of life for humanity as a whole is imposed everywhere with the forcefulness of destiny. Globalization appears in our society with an overwhelming force, as an ongoing process that cannot be stopped, however, that focusing resources properly can counteract nations to dominate and get significant benefits for each country in different sectors. This paper briefly describes some benefits that globalization brings like the process of innovation and the use of Information Technology and the positives effects on nations simply do accept it in their business.

Abstract Background: The purpose of this study is to elucidate the relationship between fundamental daily living habits and health literacy exhibited by self-care behaviour in sixth-grade students in Japanese elementary schools by verifying the association of actual status of fundamental daily living habits with awareness of behavioural and health contingencies and healthy behavioural choices. Methods: In this study, a cross-sectional survey was undertaken with 287 sixth-grade students in Japanese elementary school. The questionnaire consisted of three elements of status of basic lifestyle habits, behavioural and health contingencies, and healthy behavioural choices. Results: These results indicate that while fundamental daily living habits are formed by including behavioural and health contingencies, the association of awareness of contingencies and behavioural choices with their actual status is not clear. It is found that during childhood, there is a risk of interruption in the awareness about the acquired behaviours and health contingencies, and it is evident that sustaining such awareness is necessary. Conclusions: This study makes a significant contribution to the literature because there are very few studies on children’s fundamental daily living habits from a health literacy viewpoint and it is not clear whether the fundamental daily living habits are associated with self-care ability as health literacy.
