Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran sport massage yang menarik dan efektif agar mempermudah mahasiswa dalam memahami materi teknik massage. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan metode research and development dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data untuk mendapatkan validitas produk yang dihasilkan dilakukan dengan cara penilaian dari ahli olahraga, terapi massage dan ahli media. Tahapan penelitian meliputi : 1) Pelaksanaan persiapan penelitian, 2) Perencanaan, 3) Pengembangn format produk awal, 4) Uji coba awal, 5) Revisi produk awal, 6) Uji coba lapangan, 7) Revisi produk hasil uji lapangan, 8) Uji pelaksanaan lapangan, 9) Revisi produk akhir, 10) Diseminasi dan implementasi, 11) Analisis data, 12) Penyusunan laporan akhir dan luaran penelitian. Hasil penelitian yaitu ada pengaruh pengembangan produk pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan sport massage pada kelompok coba dan kelompok kontrol. Sehingga pengembangan produk pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan Sport Massage di kelompok coba dan kelompok kontrol. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu produk model pembelajaran berupa video pembelajaran sport massage yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan Sport Massage dari para mahasiswa secara efektif dan efisien.

The goal of this research and development study is to gain the design for financial literacy education through fiqh mu’āmalāt learning program. It was gained a syllabus that completed by lesson plan, student worksheets, nor assessment instrument as well, that validated by experts and practitioners and reliability counted based on test.

 Abstract: This article is a result of an R&D (Research & Development) study which used a 4-D model to develope a teaching material in the form of student’s work sheet that based on science process skill. A valid teaching material has been developed in 2015. The framework of the work sheets was composed of identify (core competence, basic competence, topic, objective), inquiry question, analytical question, and conclusive question. The framework could minimalized the guiding expalanation as often found in experiment manual books. The result showed that the students’ performance in practicing the experiment given was in sufficient category, all of the student were responded positively and all of the activities expected in the learning process were impelemented.  Key words: work sheet, science process skill. Abstrak: Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian R & D (Research and Development) dengan mengngunakan model pengembangan perangkat 4-D yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa lembar kerja berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Pada tahun 2015 telah dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid. Kerangka lembar kerja terdiri dari identitas (Kompetensi Inti, Kompetensi Dasar, judul, tujuan), pertanyaan penyelidikan, pertanyaan analisis, dan pertanyaan penyimpulan. Kerangka ini meminimalkan pernyataan tuntunan seperti dalam penuntun praktikum (yang  mirip ”resep kue”). Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan kinerja praktikum siswa berada pada kategori cukup, semua siswa merespon positif dan semua aktivitas yang diharapkan muncul dalam pembelajaran terlaksana seluruhnya.  Kata kunci: lembar kerja (LK), keterampilan proses sains.

BACKGROUND Previous studies have proven that web-based learning media that offer interesting features with <i>the learning management system</i> concept could support the learning processes of nursing students. Nonetheless, it is still necessary to conduct further research on its potential as an information media that supports learning using 1 of the mobile learning methods. OBJECTIVE This study aims to develop and use the Nursing Education Progressive Web Application (NEPWA) media in an education and health promotion course for nursing students. METHODS This is a research and development study aimed at developing the NEPWA media using the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate approach and a quantitative research with descriptive and pre-experimental 1-group pretest-posttest design conducted in the Study Program of Nursing Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. A total of 39 nursing students in their second year of undergraduate studies participated in this study. A pretest-posttest design was used to measure any changes in the dependent variable, whereas a posttest design was used to measure any changes in the independent variables. RESULTS After using the NEPWA media, there was a significant increase in the student knowledge variable (N=39; knowledge: <i>P</i>&lt;.001; 95% CI 23.88-33.14). In terms of student satisfaction with the learning process using Gagne’s model of instructional design, most of the students were satisfied, with a mean score of ≥3. In addition, the results of the measurement using the System Usability Scale on the NEPWA media showed that NEPWA has good usability and it is acceptable by users, with a mean score of 72.24 (SD 8.54). CONCLUSIONS The NEPWA media can be accepted by users and has good usability, and this media is designed to enhance student knowledge.

Kemendiknas telah melakukan investasi cukup besar berupa pembangunan Jejaring komputer pendidikan nasional yang disebut Jaringan Pendidikan Nasional (Jardiknas), pada sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) di seluruh Indonesia yang dikenal dengan nama ICT center. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model manajemen ICT center sesuai karakteristik SMK sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi mutu pada SMK tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall. Hasil secara keseluruhan penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan uji coba keefektivan kinerja manajemen pada skala terbatas dan lebih luas menunjukkan bahwa model manajemen ICT center memenuhi kriteria sangat efektif. DEVELOPING A MODEL OF ICT CENTER MANAGEMENTAbstractDeveloping a Model of ICT Center Management. The Ministry of National Education has made considerable investments in building National Education Computer Networks in vocational high schools (VHSs) all over Indonesia, well-known as ICT Centers. This study aims to develop a model of ICT Center management in accordance with the characteristics of VHSs so that it can give contributions to the quality of VHSs. This study was a research and development study using a model by Borg and Gall. The results for all of the study is small-scale and large-scale tryouts on the effectiveness of the management performance show that the model of the ICT center management is very effective.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan soal matematika model PISA untuk siswa SMP menggunakan konteks Jambi yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design research tipe development study. Analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian berupa seperangkat soal matematika model PISA menggunakan konteks Jambi yang valid, praktis dan memlilki efek potensial sebanyak 14 butir soal. Valid dari segi konten, konstruk, dan bahasa berdasarkan penilaian validator, praktis berdasarkan uji coba small group dan memiliki efek potensial berdasarkan analisis hasil jawaban siswa dan angket pada field test. Bedasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa soal yang dikembangkan memiliki beberapa efek potensial, yaitu memunculkan pelibatan kemampuan dasar matematis yang beragam pada proses penyelesaiannya. Selain itu, juga mampu menarik minat dan memotivasi siswa sehingga tertantang menyelesaikan soal. Soal-soal ini juga memberikan stimulus kepada siswa untuk berpikir kritis menggunakan penalaran sendiri dalam penyelesaiannya.Kata kunci: research and development, development study, PISA, Konteks Jambi DEVELOPING MATHEMATIC QUESTIONS OF PISA MODEL BY USING JAMVI CONTEXT AbstractThe aim of this research was to provide valid, practical mathematic questions of PISA model for SMP students by using Jambi contex, and have potential effect. The method of the research was developmental research design . Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. The result of the research was a set of valid, practical 14 mathematic questions of PISA model in Jambi contex, and having potential effect. The validity of content, construct, and language was based on expert judgment, the practicality was measured in small group, and the potential effect was based on analysis of student answers and questionnaires in field test. The result of analysis showed that the developed questions had several potential effects such as inviting students’ various basic skills of mathematic in the process of answering the questions. Besides that, it could encourage students’ ability and motivate students to answer and finish the questions. These questions also attract the students to use their critical thinking ability to answer the questions.Keywords: research and development, development study, PISA, Jambi context

This article is to describe a research result of violin lesson conduct in Music Art Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, UKSW, Salatiga. The research problems are 1) obstructions in learning violin instrument, and 2) finding the right method for the violin learners. It is a Research and Development study aiming to find the effectiveness of the violin learning method named “Perstude Lahap”. The name stands for Persiapan (preparation or warming up), Etude (practicing), Lagu (song or repertoar), and Menghapal (memorizing). The research shows that it is able to make lesson successful under the requirements that the learners are fast learners or have good intelligence, strongly motivated, persistent, and incorporating right playing method. Perstude Lahap method is one of the effective alternatives for learners as it provides well-structured practice and stimulates learners to optimally develop both their cognitive and motoric skill.

This research aimed to develop reading supplementary materials and to verify the appropriateness of the materials to support the learning process of the grade XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Al Ma’Had An-Nur. This research was a research and development study. The results of the research are as follows. First, this research produced a set of extensive reading supplementary materials. Second, the results of material validation by material and graphic designer experts, the try-outs by grade XI students, and the perception of the English teacher showed that the extensive reading supplementary materials were considered appropriate to be applied in English class.

This research is intends develop integrated thematic learning materials by using discovery learning (DL) model in the 5th grade of elementary school. It categorize this research into research and development study. The model includes four phases, defining, designing, developing, and disseminating phases. However, it did not include the disseminating phases. The subjects of the research were 5th grade students. The results of the research show that the validity score of the learning materials developed is 3,36. Questionnaire and interviews with the teachers and the students reveal that the materials developed are practical. The score given by the teachers is 96, 43%, and by the students is 84, 5%. Based on the results, we conclude it that the integrated thematic learning materials developed by using (DL) model are valid and practical to be use in the learning process.
