 Abstract: This article is a result of an R&D (Research & Development) study which used a 4-D model to develope a teaching material in the form of student’s work sheet that based on science process skill. A valid teaching material has been developed in 2015. The framework of the work sheets was composed of identify (core competence, basic competence, topic, objective), inquiry question, analytical question, and conclusive question. The framework could minimalized the guiding expalanation as often found in experiment manual books. The result showed that the students’ performance in practicing the experiment given was in sufficient category, all of the student were responded positively and all of the activities expected in the learning process were impelemented.  Key words: work sheet, science process skill. Abstrak: Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian R & D (Research and Development) dengan mengngunakan model pengembangan perangkat 4-D yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa lembar kerja berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Pada tahun 2015 telah dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid. Kerangka lembar kerja terdiri dari identitas (Kompetensi Inti, Kompetensi Dasar, judul, tujuan), pertanyaan penyelidikan, pertanyaan analisis, dan pertanyaan penyimpulan. Kerangka ini meminimalkan pernyataan tuntunan seperti dalam penuntun praktikum (yang  mirip ”resep kue”). Hasil ujicoba menunjukkan kinerja praktikum siswa berada pada kategori cukup, semua siswa merespon positif dan semua aktivitas yang diharapkan muncul dalam pembelajaran terlaksana seluruhnya.  Kata kunci: lembar kerja (LK), keterampilan proses sains.

Mastering science process skill is very beneficial in problem solving process. This research aimed to develop teaching materials such as science process skill-based textbooks on energy and its changes. The method used in this research was research and development, by using the 4D design, which include define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research and development method were used to produce a product and to test its efficiency. The result showed that the learning material fulfill the assessment criteria. The mean validation result of textbook showed a number of 3.58 indicated as a good category. Based on T test, it was proven that the use of textbooks is indeed influential towards the development of students’ science process skill.

This research is intends develop integrated thematic learning materials by using discovery learning (DL) model in the 5th grade of elementary school. It categorize this research into research and development study. The model includes four phases, defining, designing, developing, and disseminating phases. However, it did not include the disseminating phases. The subjects of the research were 5th grade students. The results of the research show that the validity score of the learning materials developed is 3,36. Questionnaire and interviews with the teachers and the students reveal that the materials developed are practical. The score given by the teachers is 96, 43%, and by the students is 84, 5%. Based on the results, we conclude it that the integrated thematic learning materials developed by using (DL) model are valid and practical to be use in the learning process.

<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> A novel is a literature work of fiction which tells about the life of a person and the people around him which are presented in a series of stories that are more complex. A novel can be used as a source of learning for students. This study uses a novel as the source of learning to develop teaching material. This study aims at producing teaching material which describes the setting, characters, and events being told in the novel. This study is a research and development study which uses a 4-D model. The model covers four main stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The teaching material that has been compiled contains activities, steps, exercises, revisions, and peer-assessments in writing descriptive text about setting, characters, and events by using quotations written in the tetralogy of Laskar Pelangi. The activities, steps, and exercises in the teaching material will help the students in writing descriptive text well and detailed.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Novel merupakan karya fiksi dengan rangkaian cerita kehidupan seseorang dengan orang lain di sekelilingnya yang ditampilkan lebih kompleks. Novel dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan novel untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar sebagai sumber belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar mendeskripsikan latar dalam novel, menghasilkan bahan ajar mendeskripsikan tokoh dalam novel, dan menghasilkan bahan ajar mendeskripsikan peristiwa dalam novel. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D, yaitu <em>define </em>(penetapan), <em>design</em> (perancangan), <em>develop</em> (pengembangan), dan <em>disseminate </em>(penyebaran). Bahan ajar yang telah disusun berisi kegiatan, langkah-langkah, latihan, revisi, dan penyuntingan teman sejawat dalam menulis teks deskripsi latar, tokoh, dan peristiwa dengan menggunakan kutipan-kutipan dari novel tetralogi Laskar Pelangi. Kegiatan, langkah-langkah, dan latihan dalam bahan ajar tersebut akan membantu peserta didik dalam menulis teks deskripsi yang baik, benar, dan terperinci.

The aims of this study are (1) to develop 4N concept from Ki Hajar Dewantara into 4N model of learning for science, (2) to investigate the quality of developed products, (3) to investigate the effect of 4N learning model for scinece learning to Tri Nga competencies, and (4) to investigate the implementation of the model.The study used 9 steps of research and development (R&D) model of Borg & Gall without taking the dissemination process.The results of the study are as follows. (1) The 4N concept was developed to become 4N model for science learning. (2) The Products are appropriate to use for teaching and learning process. (3) The 4N learning model can achieve a functional science learning: (a) the model can increase Tri Nga competencies. (b) Science learning using the 4N model achieves the KKM target, and (c) the 4N model gets good response from the students. (4) The 4N model is in well done category. Instructional media that are innovative and easy are really needed by students in the current situation. M-learning based on Home Science Process Skill (HSPS), is an innovative learning medium that applies science learning directly in life, with the guidance of parents at home and teachers. The study aims to produce design of m-learning based on home science process skill for science learning. This research was conducted in April 2021 at SMPN 30 Kota Tangerang. The method used was the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model. The stages of research and development of learning media were to define stage, develop stage and evaluate stage. The results of the feasibility test for the design of m-learning based on Home Science Process Skill by media experts and material experts obtained an average assessment of 78.40% and 87.50% with good and very good interpretations. The conclusion of this research was that the design of this learning media was feasible to be used as a medium for student learning media.

The students problem in understanding the electron configurations was caused by the ineffective learning media which is used by the teacher didn’t fit the student’s characteristic. Therefore, it is important to develop media of Lego Chemistry games for electron configurations class. The validation of the media is validated in three aspects. They were validity from the results of the game, practicality from the results of the questionnaire, and the effectiveness from the results of the pre and post tests. This study used a Research and Development (R & D) model of Borg and Gall conducted in seven stages. The study showed that media of Lego Chemistry games was suitable for teaching learning process. It can be seen from the results of the material and media aspects by 0,83 and 0,94 which was valid. The results of the practicality of the questionnaires on the small and main tryouts were 92,50% and 90,66% and were considered practical. The results of the effectiveness of the N Gain on the small and main tryouts were 0.74 and 0.92 (high). Therefore, media of Lego Chemistry games was valid and effective. It is suitable to be used as the learning media in Chemistry class.

Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran di dalam kelas selama proses pembelajaran pada kebanyakan sekolah di Indonesia umumnya kurang inovatif dan cenderung monoton. Monotonnya pengunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran menyebabkan siswa tidak mampu mengikuti pelajaran dengan maksimal sehingga pembelajaran menjadi tidak efektif dan efisien. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang efektif digunakan dalam kelas untuk membangkitkan motivasi dan minat siswa adalah media grafis terutama media komik pembelajaran. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas komik pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Model pengambangan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan modifikasi pengembangan perangkat Four-D Model. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan di atas maka dapat disimpulkan: Kualitas komik pembelajaran ditinjau dari penilaian validasi dari ahli materi didapatkan hasil komik pembelajaran memiliki kriteria valid dengan presentase 90,3%. Penilaian validasi dari ahli media didapatkan hasil validasi komik pembelajaran memiliki kriteria valid dengan presentase 87,8%. Penilaian validasi ahli bahasa pada komik pembelajaran memiliki kriteria valid dengan presentase 96 %. Hasil uji coba lapang berdasarkan penilaian guru dan dan siswa didapatkan presentase pada guru sebesar 86% dan pada siswa sebesar 86.5% (valid). Generally, using of instructional media in the classroom during learning process in most schools in Indonesia is less innovative and monotonous. That problems it caused students can not followed the lesson maximally, therefore learning process becomes uneffective and unefficient. One of the effective learning media can be use in the class to increase motivation and interest of students is the graphic/visual media, for example is a comic. The purpose of this research is to find out of comic quality. This research approach is research development (R&D). The developing model in this research and development uses modification of Four-D Model. Based on the above result and discussion it can be concluded: The quality of learning comic review from the validation of the material experts obtained the result of the learning comic having valid criteria with 90.3%. Assessment validation from media expert got result of validation of comic learning have valid criterion with percentage 87,8%. Assessment of validation of linguists on learning comics has valid criteria with 96% percentage. The results of field trials based on the assessment of teachers and students obtained a percentage of teachers at 87.2% and at students of 86.5% (valid).

The problem in this study is that there is no teaching material that is associated with the hadith Qur’an in  the  school  that  has  Islamic  nuances,  the teaching material used more material and a few of picture as help from the materials, study aims develop magazine learning media feasibility, attractiveness  in  the  cognitive  domain  of  student.  This   type   of   research   is   a   development   research  (Research  and  Development),  using  the  development procedure of Borg ang Gall up to step 7, the data obtained will be analyzed with deccriptive percentages and qualitative data. The result of the study showed that the hadist learning media based on the biological magazine of the Qur’an was very suitable to used as ,learning meddia for class X students. This can be seen from the percentage of media expert validation of 82,8%, material expert validation 87,5%, linguits by 83%, and religious experts by 87,5%, teacher responses by 84,56%, and students’ responses by 81,8%. From the Reselt of study it can be concluded that the biological learning media based on the hadith Qur’an with viral material is very feasible to be used as medic learning in SMA/MA Key Words: Biology, Bio Magazine, Hadith Qur'an Abstrak : Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah belum adanya bahan ajar yang berkaitan dengan Al-Qur’an hadist disekolah yang buansa islam. Bahan ajar yang digunakan lebih banyak menyajikan berupa materi dan minim gambar sebagai pembantu  dari materi tersebut. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran majalah, kelayakan, kemenarikan dalam ranah kognitif peserta didik Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Reseaarch and Developmwnt) dengan menggunakan prosedur pengembangan Borg and Gall sampai dengan langkah 7, data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan deksriptif persentase dan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran majalah biologi berbasis Alquran hadist sangat layak digunakan media pembelajaran peerta didik kelas X. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil persentase validasi ahli media sebesar 82,8%, validasi ahli materi sebesar 90,45%, ahli bahasa diperoleh 83%, ahli agama sebesar 87,5%, respon pendidik sebesar 84,56%, meunjukkan kriteria sangat menarik, dan respn peserta didik sebesar 81,8%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajarn majalah biologi berbasis Alquran hadist dengan materi virus sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMA/MA di Lampung. This research came up from the unavailability of the physics teaching materials containing the local wisdom of Tabalong Regency society, South Kalimantan, and the less optimal character education in the learning process. Therefore, the research and development on the physics teaching materials based on the local wisdom of Tabalong regency, South Kalimantan to train saraba kawa character were conducted. The objective of this study was to produce feasible physics teaching materials integrated with the local wisdom based on the aspects of validity, practicality, effectivity, and character achievement. This research type is a research and development using ADDIE model. The subjects of the try out were 36 grade X students of MIPA in 4 SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Tabalong Regency. The instruments used in this study were validation sheet, response questionnaire, student achievement results, and character observation sheet. The results showed that: (1) the validity of the teaching materials based on its content and appearance was in a good category, (2) the practicality of the teaching material categorized as very practical, (3) the effectiveness of the medium categorized as very practical, (4) and the achievement of saraba kawa character categorized as very good. It concluded that the physics teaching materials based on the local wisdom to train saraba kawa character is feasible for physics learning.

This research aimed to develop reading supplementary materials and to verify the appropriateness of the materials to support the learning process of the grade XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Al Ma’Had An-Nur. This research was a research and development study. The results of the research are as follows. First, this research produced a set of extensive reading supplementary materials. Second, the results of material validation by material and graphic designer experts, the try-outs by grade XI students, and the perception of the English teacher showed that the extensive reading supplementary materials were considered appropriate to be applied in English class.
