The purposes of this research was to analyze investment policy, the growth in sales, and operational cost efficiency to profitability of PT. Gudang Garam Tbkand PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Tbk. The type and source of data that used by the author are secondary data derived from the company's official website and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id). To obtain partial and simultaneous variables’ influence, analytical method was being applied. Thepartially regression analysis results for the case of PT Gudang Garam Tbk. indicates that investment policy and operational cost efficiency were not significantly affecting the company's profitability (ROA), and the growth in sales was significantly affecting the company's profitability (ROA). While simultaneously regression analyses (on investment policy and growth in sales) were not significantly affecting the company's profitability (ROA). In the case of PT. Ultrajaya Mil Industry & Trading Company, Tbk. the contradicting results were obtained, where the investment policy and operational cost efficiency were significantly affecting the company's profitability (ROA), and growth in sales was not significantly affecting the company's profitability (ROA). Simultaneously, investment policy and growth in sale), growth in sales and operational cost efficiency, were not significantly affecting the company's profitability (ROA)

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the rotation of receivable at similar company of industry (Milk Management), to know the cash turnover in similar company of industry (Milk Management), and to know how big influence of receivable turnover and cash turn over to liquidity in similar industry Milk Management). The method of research conducted by the author in preparing the thesis is descriptive quantitative, which is doing research that describes the financial condition of the company expressed in the form of numbers. The data used are secondary data in the form of financial statements of Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company, Tbk.  for a period of 10 years from 2005-2014, obtained through ICAMEL (Indonesian Capital Market Electronic Library). The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and hypothesis test. Based on the results of data analysis, multiple linear regression analysis results obtained regression equation Y = -44.362 0.587X1 0.108X2. Simultaneously variable receivable turnover and cash turnover affect the liquidity it can be seen from the value of f arithmetic ≥  f table (12, 404 ≥ 9.27).                      Keywords :   receivable turnover, cash turnover, and liquidity.

This study aims to provide empirical evidence on the effect of audit tenure and audit committee to earning of quality. The research was conducted at a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2011. This type of study is a research verificative or hypothesis testing research. The research method used in this research is census and balanced panel data. Target population in this study is a manufacturing company that has complete data for all variables studied. The population of this study is 39  firms which observed periods are 3 years. The data collection techniques using secondary data from financial statements have been audited and published www.idx.co.id obtained from website to the financial statements in the period 2009-2011. The hypothesis is tested by using multiple regression analysis. This result shows that (1) when there is not audit tenure and audit committee, earning of quality is at 95,4% and is not at 100% (2) audit tenure and audit committee simultaneously have negative influence toward earning of quality (3) Audit tenure and audit committee partially has negative influence toward earning of quality.

Knowledge and intangible assets become the important source of competitive advatage for company (knowledgw-based economy). The study aims was to investigate the effect of intellectual capital, institutional ownership to profitability and firm value. Sample used were 6 manufacturing companies of sub sectors consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2017, with purposive sampling, secondary data, and panel data regression analysis. The results indicated that simultaneous intellectual capital and institutional ownership affected financial performance. Partially intellectual capital had a positive and significant effect on financial performance, but institutional ownership did not have significant effect. Financial performance has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Intelectual capital had an important roles to increase performance and value of the firm.

This study aims to examine factors that influence the timeless of financial report. The independent variable of this research are profitability, firmsize, and the public ownership, while the dependent variable is timeless. The population of this research are property and real estate companies which are listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange 2011-2014. The sample in this research is taken by using purposive sampling method with some carracteristics and consist of 30 companies. This research used secondary data from www.idx.co.id and the method of analysis used logistic regression analysis. The results show that the profitability is significantly influenced to the timeless of financial report, while both the firmsize and public ownership are not significantly influenced the timeless of financial report.

The aim of study to examine the effect of credit risk as measured by non performing loan, and capital adequacy ratio to profitability level measured by return on assets in banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research belongs to causative research. The population in this study is the stateowned banks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample of this study is determined by purposive sampling method so that obtained four sample companies. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis, correlation, determination and partial test of hypothesis with t test and simultaneously with F test. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis with 5% significance level, the results of this study conclude: (1) non performing loan has a negative and significant influence on profitability in banking companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (2) capital adequacy ratio positively affect profitability on banking industry listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. So simultaneously and together it can be concluded that NPL and CAR have an effect on ROA.

<em>This study aims to determine the effect of debt to equity ratio and return on assets of stock price on food and beverages sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used secondary data, with samples 9 food &amp; beverages companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the study period 2016-2018. Independent variables in this study are debt to equity ratio and return on assets. This study used purposive sampling technique. The method of data analysis used multiple regression analysis. Based on results of the study, only debt to equity ratio have no significant effect on stock price. Meanwhile, the F test result shows that Debt to Equity Ratio and Return on Assets jointly have  effect on stock price.</em>

Income is one important indicator to assess performance of a company. As the most liquid assets of the company, cash is important to measure the adequacy of the company's costs needed to repay debts and finance its activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cash on earnings, the influence of short-term debt on earnings growth, the influence of sales on profit growth, and how cash, short-term debt and the sales are affecting the profit growth in the company PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakasa. Tbk, PT. Mayora Indah. Tbk, and PT. Astra Otoparts. Tbk. The year of observation is of period 2005-2014, and types of data used are secondary data derived from the company's official website as well as the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The analytical method used in this study is regression analysis to find variables that have effects either partially or simultaneously. Based on the results of research conducted over a period of 10 years from 2005 to 2014, it can be concluded that the Treasury had no significant effect on earnings growth partially in PT Indocement single prakasa, PT Mayora Indah Tbk and PT Astra, short-term debt partially had not significant effect on profit growth PT Indocement PT Mayora and PT Astra. Sales had not partially significant effect on earnings growth at PT Indocemet Tunggal Tbk prakasa whereas in PT Mayora Indah Tbk and PT Astra Otoparts it had significantly affected on earnings growth.

This study was conducted to find the effect of merger, management change, company dissatisfaction, audit fees, audit delay on auditor switching turnover in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2014-2018. Data used in this study namely secondary data of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 20142018 with a sample of 76 companies. This study used logistic regression analysis. The results confirmed that (1) the merger variable had no effect on auditor switching (2) management change variable had no effect on auditor switching (3) company dissatisfaction had an effect on auditor switching (4) audit fees had an effect on auditor switching (5) audit delay had an effect on auditor switching.

Capital structure is one of the issue that attract many researchers in the field of finance and an important issue for any company because of its capability to directly effect on companies’ financial position. This study aims to determine the effect of debt to equity ratio (DER) and debt to assets ratio (DAR) as the dimension of capital structure to return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) as dimensions of company profitability ratios, either simultaneously or partially on mining companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2015. This research was conducted by using multiple linear regression analysis and yielded two equations of regression model. The data obtained are secondary data using documentation method. The result of regression analysis shows that the two dimensions of capital structure have significant effect to both dimensions of profitability simultaneously. While partially, only DAR which have a significant effect on the ROE and ROA.

This study aims to determine whether CR, DER, NPM, and TATO effect profit changes. The population in this research are mining companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2016-2018 consisting of 48 companies. Sampling was done by purposive sampling and 15 companies were selected. The data in the study comes from the secondary data obtained through the documentation technique. Data analysis with multiple regression analysis using SPSS for Windows version 18. The results showed that there was significant influence simultaneously between CR, DER, NPM, and TATO to Profit Changes. Based on the partial test, the conclusion CR and TATO has positive and not significant effect on profit changes. DER has negative and not significant effect in profit changes. NPM has positive and significant effect on profit changes.
