Technology is now becoming an unavoidable part of Indonesian students’ life. The application of digital tools have facilitated the students to expand their knowledge and develop their learning. At the same time, it helps to plant learning autonomy toward the students. This paper aimed to explore the teachers’ experiences in applying the digital assessment by using in- depth interview and classroom observation. The teachers can gain a lot of advantages by applying the digital assessment in their teaching and learning activities. It saves a lot of teachers’ time, it breaks the barriers between teachers and students in terms of meeting time and at the same time it also helps to reduce students’ anxiety during the assessment. However, during the application of the digital assessment there were several difficulties faced by the teachers, namely the internet connection, the misconception among the students because the students did not comprehend well regarding the teachers’ feedback as well as there may be a possibility for the students to cheat during the assessment since they can do it anywhere not only in the campus. The teachers’ mastery in technology indirectly can also help the development of Indonesia’s education system. Teknologi kini menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan siswa Indonesia. Penerapan perangkat digital telah memfasilitasi siswa untuk memperluas pengetahuan dan mengembangkan cara belajar mereka. Pada saat yang bersamaan,  perangkat digital juga membantu menanamkan otonomi belajar kepada siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman para guru dalam menerapkan penilaian secara digital dengan menggunakan wawancara secara intensif dan observasi kelas. Para guru dapat memperoleh banyak keuntungan dengan menerapkan penilaian secara digital dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar mereka. Penilaian dengan cara seperti ini menghemat banyak waktu guru, menjembatani jarak antara guru dan siswa dalam hal waktu pertemuan dan pada saat yang sama juga membantu mengurangi kecemasan siswa selama penilaian. Namun, dalam penerapannya, terdapat beberapa kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh para guru, yaitu koneksi internet, kesalahpahaman di antara siswa karena siswa tidak memahami dengan baik tentang umpan balik guru dan terdapat kemungkinan siswa menyontek selama ujian karena mereka dapat melakukannya di mana saja, tidak hanya di area kampus. Penguasaan guru tentang teknologi secara tidak langsung juga dapat membantu pengembangan sistem pendidikan di Indonesia.

The pandemic Covid-19, which requires everyone, including students to do activities at home, it is easier because of technological advances. The most influential technology in education today is the Internet. The internet allows teachers to provide learning materials without having to meet in person. Teachers can upload learning materials for later access by students. Several internet-based applications and sites are also commonly used by teachers and students to hold face-to-face classes via Whatsapp video calls, Google Clasroom, Zoom Meetings and other online media. Apart from teaching and learning activities, internet-based technology can also be used to support student productive activities. Due to this work from home policy, student activities such as organizations, committees, clubs and so on are hampered. However, by utilizing internet-based applications and sites such as Google Meet, Zoom, Skype and so on, learning activities in the form of meetings and group discussions can run more optimally. Working on group assignments can be easier by using Google Doc where multiple students can edit a document together directly.

As multimodal text, Internet memes encompassing verbal and visual elements have a significant function in producing meaning both independently and inherently. In addition, they are not only used to entertain the reader through humorous messages, but also used to convey moral message. This research investigated the ideational meaning and the critical message in the internet memes related to the interaction between teacher and students in teaching and learning activities. It was conducted to reveal experiential and representational meaning; inter-semiotic logical relations; the portrayed events; and the implied problems as criticism to both teachers and students contained in these Internet memes. They were obtained from Instagram account of @9gag. Focusing on the ideational meaning, it applied three theories, namely, transitivity system, representational component of visual grammar, and inter-semiotic logical relations. It also applied the theory of relevance to reveal the critical message behind these internet memes. Several studies, related to the internet memes both in multimodal discourse analysis and pragmatic study, have been conducted. Nevertheless, this present study is the development of those studies using different approach. Specifically, this study focused on internet memes concerning teachers and students interaction which have never investigated before. The results revealed five kinds of verbal processes; five kinds of visual processes; six logical relations between caption and image; five portrayed students’ behaviours; nine problems implied in student figure; and six problems implied in teacher figure. Through this study, the readers are expected to understand both wisdom and un-wisdom messages of criticism in the Internet memes.

ABSTRACT<br />New concepts and techniques in teaching have been developed to support conventional methods that rely solely on one-way teaching methods in the classroom. One of the teaching methods that are developing in the present is e-learning. E-learning can help teachers to distribute their teaching materials without having to be in the classroom by using the internet. This can be utilized when teachers are unable to attend class. So, that the distribution of materials, assignments or quizzes or even discussions between teachers and students can still take a place. Teaching and learning activities face-to-face in high school Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar experienced have a obstacles, because teachers who have busy outside the school either in the organization or in the Muhammadiyah foundation. So, the teachers can not teach in the classroom. This research was conducted to build supporting learning media at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar that can assist teachers in delivering all teaching materials online. So, that students can access teaching materials anywhere and can be used as an additional discussion media to discuss lesson material that has not been completed and can be useful as media in delivering and collecting assigned tasks<br />Keywords : E-learning, Internet, Online<br />ABSTRAK<br />Berbagai konsep dan teknik baru dalam pengajaran telah banyak dikembangkan untuk mendukung metode konvensional yang hanya mengandalkan pada metode pengajaran satu arah di kelas. Salah satu metode pengajaran yang sedang berkembang di masa sekarang adalah e-learning. E-learning dapat membantu para pengajar dalam mendistribudikan bahan ajar mereka tanpa harus berada di kelas dengan menggunakan internet, hal ini dapat dimanfaatkan saat guru berhalangan hadir dikelas, sehingga pendistribusian materi, tugas atau quiz atau bahkan diskusi antara guru dan siswa tetap dapat berlangsung. Kegiatan belajar mengajar secara tatap muka di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar mengalami kendala, karena guru yang memiliki kesibukan di luar sekolah baik di organisasi atau di yayasan Muhammadiyah sehingga guru tidak dapat mengajar di kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membangun media pembelajaran pendukung pada SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar yang dapat membantu pengajar dalam menyampaikan semua bahan ajar secara online sehingga siswa dapat mengakses bahan ajar dimana saja dan dapat dijadikan media diskusi tambahan untuk membahas materi pelajaran yang belum tuntas serta dapat berguna sebagai media dalam menyampaikan dan mengumpulkan tugas-tugas yang di berikan.<br />Kata kunci : E-learning, Internet, Online

This is a case study aimed at describing teaching vocabulary based blended learning method. There were 30 students involved in this study. The data were taken using mixed methods by giving an interview and observation. The findings of this study were analyzed using triangulation analysis. The results of this study showed that: 1) vocabulary teaching model based blended learning method create an interactive teaching and learning atmosphere, 2) the students are not familiar with the learning application, so they found difficulties using smartphone in accessing learning application, 3) the internet connection is unstable, so the teacher should prepare another activity, 4) the selection of learning applications that suitable with students need to make the teaching and learning activities more fun, easy to understand, and keep following the development of teaching and learning methods.

The educational system across the world has been affected due to outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, this new phenomenon forced teachers and students to do teaching and learning process from home. The purpose of writing this study was to investigate the students' perceptions of online learning has been implemented and the factors that influenced these perceptions. Therefore, this survey asked 60 students in Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Migas Balikpapan to convey their perception on the effect of online during Covid-19. The finding of this study revealed that students positively accepted this new learning system although they’ve found some problems such as difficulty in using application and lack of the internet connection, etc.

This study aims to develop additional teaching materials in the form of e-Modul Bryophyta dengan Kajian Islam, as well as to determine the quality of the products developed based on the assessment of several validations, teachers, and students as respondents. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. Descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the research obtained indicate that the Bryophyta e-Module with Islamic Studies developed as a whole has the quality Very Fit for use in teaching and learning activities. With the percentage results from material experts of 89.2% with Very Feasible criteria, from media experts of 71.6% with Eligible criteria, from Islamic Religion experts of 82.6% with Very Appropriate criteria and an assessment of the teacher of 82.5% with criteria Very Eligible for use in teaching and learning activities. Meanwhile, the response of students obtained the overall percentage of small and large group tests of 85.2% with very attractive criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that e-Modul Bryophyta dengan Kajian Islam, which was developed with the Borg & Gall model, is feasible and very attractive to be used as teaching material for students in class X MIA in Ma, especially in Bryophyta lessons.

The teaching and learning process (learning) is an activity to carry out the core of education and curriculum at an educational institution. Teaching and learning activities contain various concepts related to the educational mission, educational foundation, and educational goals. In addition, learning is focused on what the lecturer must do as the one who provides learning. The learning process at this time is constrained by the Covid 19 pandemic faced by Indonesia, thus affecting all activities, one of which is Bungo Regency residents, especially in the academic field. Therefore, all learning activities carried out on campus are not allowed and must be done at home or online. One of them is the learning process for the Pancasila Course in the English Education Study Program (PBI), Semester II Year 2020/2021. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods in the form of photos and questionnaires via google forms which are distributed to students through whatsapp groups using 26 PBI second semester students. The results of this study indicate that students have internet signal problems, which are 81%. So the importance of the internet network is to make it easier for students to carry out the learning process effectively, due to the lack of a network. The purpose of this study is to examine several aspects, including: the history of the establishment of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan, learning strategies carried out in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic, learning methods, learning challenges, and effectiveness in learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan. The research process uses descriptive qualitative methods. in the research process using data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and photos when the research was conducted. This study aims to determine the learning strategy in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan. The strategy used at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan in the midst of a pandemic is to use online learning strategies. Learning is carried out using zoom, google meet, wa, and youtube media, this is as an intermediary for learning in the midst of a pandemic, using these strategies can facilitate teaching and learning activities carried out by teachers and students online. SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan also experienced several challenges in carrying out learning in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, one of which was that many students did not have the tools to do online learning such as cellphones, laptops, or computers, and some had problems such as having cellphones but many did not. have a quota or it is difficult to reach a signal when online learning is done. Although there are many challenges in carrying out learning activities in the midst of a pandemic like this, it does not eliminate the enthusiasm to keep learning even though you have to be at home online

Technology has significantly brought changes in all aspects of human life, thechanges that occur require everyone to change from old habits to new habits thatare not used to be done. Changes in general in face-to-face classes began to shift tovirtual classes. Even the elements of education have undergone many changes bothparents, students and teachers. They experience new teaching patterns and ways ofteaching. Learning places are transformed and can be done at home, public places,and so on. Time and place are no longer a barrier to teaching and learning activitiesbecause they can be done online. Online learning is carried out by utilizing existingtechnology through media that uses the internet to carry out teaching and learningprocesses such as cellphones and laptops. This media will support the teaching andlearning process through available applications such as whatsApp, googleclassroom and so on. Learning brings many challenges and obstacles faced byparents in particular. Advances in communication technology affect all aspects including aspects of education. An educator is required to create active, effective and fun teaching and learning activities. Related to this, the learning of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is generally still monotonous in using learning media so that students feel bored in learning PAI. PAI’s teacher at SMK Wahana Karya tries to make an innovation in Islamic Education learning, namely by using Android-based mobile learning. This is based on the background of students who on average already use Android in everyday life. So, this study describes android-based mobile learning as a learning medium for Islamic religious education at SMK Wahana Karya. This research uses qualitative methods, where the researcher makes direct observations and interviews. Sources of data used are from school archives, school websites, interviews with principals, Islamic education teachers, and students of SMK Wahana Karya. The results of this study are, although there are still some obstacles, namely in terms of signal and classroom atmosphere conditioning. However, apart from that the use of mobile learning is considered effective and attracts students in learning Islamic Education.
