This study aims to determine the diversity of rays caught by fishermen in TPI Karangantu Banten. This research uses interview method and literature review. The discussion of the observations includes classification, habitat, characteristics, and conservation status. The results of this study indicate that there is a diversity of rays, namely the results of the families obtained from the observations are Rhinopteridae, Dasyatidae, and Gymnuridae). From the results of the calculation of the species diversity index using the Shannon Wiener formula, it is included in the medium category. This diversity can be used as knowledge and inventory for biodiversity, especially the chondrichthyes class in TPI Karangantu, Serang, Banten.

This study aims to determine the differences between NHT) and STAD learning outcomes of clas VII Biology MTs Madinatussalam. The sample of this research is class VII-1 with 32 student as NHT class and 32 student in VII-2 as STAD class. The instrument used in this study was a multiple choice test concisting of 20 questions. The results of analysis showed that the average post-test score for the experimental class I NHT was 82 very high category. Meanwhile, the experimental class II STAD the average post-test score was 67,2 high category. The hypothesis test of the difference in learning outcomes of students in expremental class I NHT and expremental class II STAD, obtained tcount = 6,036>ttable = 1.999, then Ho is rejected and Ha is acepted. This shows that there is a difference in the biology lerning out comes of student who are thought using NHT learning method and those taught using the STAD learning method.

This study aims to determine the ECL of prospective teacher students during lectures. ECL is obtained from the mental effort of students in attending lectures or teaching and learning processes because it will affect the process of constructing students' cognitive schemas from the information received during the learning process. Learning activities are effective and efficient if the ECL of students is in the low category. Data collection was carried out on biology education students who attended group lectures for pedagogic courses and biological science content in the odd semester 2020/2021. This is a descriptive study which was conducted in March-September 2021, with the determination of the sample, namely purposive random sampling. ECL was measured using a mental effort questionnaire in each course in the learning process. The data obtained were analyzed in the conversion of low to high scores, then compared between semester levels to provide an overview of student ECL. The results showed that the mental effort of prospective teacher students was in the low category. The ECL of prospective biology education teacher students is low.

This study aims to see the effect of STAD learning strategy on Student Learning Outcomes in the Human Expression System Material in Class VIII MTs TPI Bandar Betsy. This type of research is a Quasi-Experimental Research. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs TPI Bandar Betsy consisting of class VIII which was placed 20 students as the experimental class and class VIII B which was designed by 20 students as the control class. The instrument used to collect data was a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 questions. In the research, the data analysis used paired simple t test with the help of SPSS version 22 software. It shows that sig <0.05 with a sig value of 0.00 <0.05 with a t-count value of 51.822 and a t-table of 2.09 in the experimental class. H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then it can be revealed that there is an effect of STAD learning strategy with the help of rotating media on student learning outcomes in the human excretion system in class VIII MTs TPI Bandar Betsy.

This research is correlation research. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and motivation to learn biology in class XI SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru in the 2020/2021 academic year. The instruments used in data collection are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. This research was conducted on April 26 to June 3, 2021. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique. The number of samples in this study was 180 students. The questionnaire distributed consisted of 30 statements. The results of data analysis correlation coefficient (rcount) of 0,22 with a significant level of 5% has a correlation in the low category. From hypothesis testing, it was obtained tcount (3,0) > ttable (1,66). This means that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Then from the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination of the self-efficacy variable (X) it gave a positive contribution to learning motivation (Y) which was obtained by 5% while 95% was determined by other variables or factors that influenced student learning motivation which were not discussed in this study.

This study aims to determine the effect of the probing learning model on critical thinking skills and biology learning outcomes for class XI students. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The sample of this research is class XI IPA 2 opens 30 people as experimental class and XI IPA 3 opens 30 people as control class. The instrument used to collect data is a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 critical thinking skills questions and 20 learning outcomes test questions. Data analysis in this study was a paired simple t test with the help of the SPSS 20.00 program. The results of the analysis of critical thinking skills obtained tcount = 24,418 and ttable = 2,045, which means Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of the probing learning model on the critical thinking skills of class XI MAS Cipta Simpang Dolok T.P 2019/2020 students. Meanwhile, from the results of the analysis of the results obtained tcount = 22,381 and ttable = 2.405, which means that Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of the probing prompting learning model on the learning outcomes of class XI Mas Cipta.

This reserch aims to determine the effect of TGT (Team Games Tounament) learning with the explosion box media on the human excretion system material on student learning outcomes of class XI MA Al-Mukhlishin Batu Bara. This type of research is quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental. The instrument in this study was in the form of an objective test or multiple choice of 20 questions. Data analysis in this study was a paired simple t-test with the help of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) software version 22. By looking at the significance value, namely if Sig (2-tailed) <0.05. as for the results found is the sig value. 2-tailed 0.00 <0.05 with a value of t-count> t-table, namely 23.38> 2.01, which means that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of TGT (team games tournaments) learning with the media explosion box on the human excretion system material on the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA Ma Al-Mukhlishin Batu Bara.

In coastal areas, mangrove communities have many functions economically, physically, and ecologically. One of the mangrove forest areas that is experiencing rapid decline in area is the Segara Anakan Lagoon, Cilacap. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure and composition of mangrove vegetation. Vegetation data was collected by purposive sampling method and each station was made 9 sampling plots. The results found that there are 12 species consisting of 4 major mangrove families, 1 minor mangrove family and 2 associated mangrove families. In general, the mangrove tree vegetation in the eastern part of Segara Anakan is dominated by Aegiceras corniculatum with an INP ranging from 38.99-67.23%, the middle part is dominated by Nypa fruticans with an INP ranging from 47.80-70.18% and the western part is dominated by Sonneratia alba with an INP of 56.32%. Environmental quality measures include water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, soil pH, water pH, TSS, total soil N, organic C, soil phosphate still support mangrove life.

The purpose of this study is to describe the preliminery research phase data obtained as a basis for the development of learning and learning modules containing research results that will be developed later. The development model used in this study is the Plomp model which has been carried out until the initial investigation data stage. Preliminary investigation data revealed some initial findings including; analyzing the Semester Learning Plan (RPS), interviews with learning and learning lecturers in the Biology Education Study Program FKIP Riau Islamic University, student questionnaire problems in conducting learning and learning lectures, student needs questionnaire in learning and learning lectures, and analysis of learning and learning modules used in learning and learning teaching materials previously in learning and learning lectures. The results revealed in the analysis of the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) there were thirteen topics in learning and learning. The results of interviews conducted with lecturers in learning and learning courses also revealed obstacles in the implementation of learning and learning lectures, one of which was the lack of student references to study learning and learning. Student problem questionnaire revealed that students do not yet have a learning and learning module with a percentage of 13.71%. Student needs questionnaire revealed that students strongly agree the need to develop learning and learning modules containing research results with a percentage of 100%. The learning and learning module that has been used in the learning process does not meet the standards of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs Directorate of Learning in 2017. The conclusion of this study is the need to develop learning and learning modules containing research results for biology students to help the lecture process in the classroom.

Aims to produce a proper practicum guide based on the aspects of the validity of the material and media. The research data was collected using the ADDIE model. The results of the study focused on the data of the development stage. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively in the form of suggestions from the validator and quantitative analysis in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire. Research in the development stage uses an instrument, namely a material and media expert validation questionnaire sheet. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the practicum guide product developed was declared feasible in terms of the validity of the material and media, with a percentage score of 94% and 86% in the very good category. The results of the trial showed that in the small group trial 80% (good) and the large group trial 87% (very good).
