Vasavaleha is one of the best medicine given for respiratory diseases. Corona viruses typically affect the respiratory system, causing symptoms such as coughing, fever and shortness of breath. It also affects host immune system of human body. Spreading rate of this disease is very high. Whole world is seeking for the treatment which can uproots this diseases. There in no vaccine available till date against this pandemic disease. Ayurveda mainly focuses on prevention of diseases alongwith its total cure. Rajyakshma Vyadhi is MadhyamMarga Roga as per Ayurveda. It shows many symptoms such as Kasa, Shwasa etc. By overall view of Covid 19, shows its resemblance with Rajyakshma Vyadhi described in Ayurveda. Vasavaleha is a Kalpa which is described in Rogadhikara of Rajyakshma. It shows Kasahara, Shwashara properties. It consists of Vasa, Pipalli, Madhu and Goghrita. These components shows actions like bronchodilation, antitussive effect and many more other actions. Pipalli shows important Rasayana effect. So in present review, we have tried to focus on role of Vasavaleha in the management of Covid 19. This can be used as preventive as well as adjuvant medication in treating Covid 19. There is need of further clinical research to rule of exact action of Vasavaleha against Covid 19.

Psychotherapeutic assistance to a person is important at all stages of his life in a pandemic. A person's impression of frightening information from the media leads, in some cases, to the formation of covidophobia. Underestimating the danger of the disease can lead to denial of the existence of the virus and refusal to vaccinate. If the meeting of the human body with the virus did take place, it is important to tune the psyche to promote the work of immunity. After infection, it is important to work out the consequences of the disease, both in terms of the received terrible impressions associated with the disease, with a stay in a covid hospital, etc., as well as support in returning a person to an active life. The help to people who have lost loved ones could be very important as well. We analyze some aspects of this complex work, prescribe specific algorithms for helping in the listed situations using the method of psychocatalysis. One of the conclusions of the work: psychotherapy-induced stress reduction, the formation of a good expectation associated with the work of the immune system, has a beneficial effect on the health of patients. In the case of viral infection, it helps to overcome the disease more quickly and with less complications and can be recommended as an important auxiliary means of preventing and treating coronavirus and other types of infection.

When the antioxidants in our immune system cannot neutralize or convert Reactive oxygen species into safe molecules at the rate at which it is produced then this imbalance is termed as “oxidative stress”. It is related with a wide array of diseases that includes cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension etc. These ROS species however are utmost essential for the proper functioning of human body which are produced as a consequence of partial oxidation of cellular metabolism performing essential functions such as protein phosphorylation, activation of several transcriptional factors, apoptosis, immunity, and differentiation. The sources by which these are produced can be broadly classified are intrinsic and extrinsic sources. There are variety of natural antioxidant enzymes of human body that combat against this oxidative stress. The extrinsic sources of ROS include the use of natural plants, extracted flavonoids and vitamins. In this review we will briefly explain how the sources of ROS, its essential function in human body, its elevation and associated damage to organs and effect on various diseases, and a hope of finding a way of how this oxidative stress can be exploited for therapeutic potential.

Like other microbes that live on or in the human body, the bacteria that inhabit the upper respiratory tract, in particular the nasal cavity, have evolved to survive in an environment that presents a number of physical and chemical challenges; these microbes are constantly bombarded with nutritional fluctuations, changes in humidity, the presence of inhaled particulate matter (odorants, allergens), and competition with other microbes. Indeed, only a specialized set of species are able to colonize this niche and successfully contend with the host's immune system and the constant threat from competitors. To this end, bacteria that live in the nasal cavity have evolved a variety of approaches to outcompete contenders for the limited nutrients and space; broadly speaking, these strategies may be considered a type of ‘bacterial warfare’. A greater molecular understanding of bacterial warfare has the potential to reveal new approaches or molecules that can be developed as novel therapeutics. As such, there are many studies within the last decade that have sought to understand the complex polymicrobial interactions that occur in various environments. Herein, we review what is currently known about the age-dependent structure and interbacterial relationships within the nasal microbiota and summarize the molecular mechanisms that are predicted to dictate bacterial warfare in this niche. Though the currently described interactions are complex, in reality we have likely only scratched the surface in terms of a true understanding of the types of interbacterial competition and cooperation that are thought to take place in and on the human body.

AbstractActinomycosis is caused by anaerobic gram-positive bacteria of Actinomyces genus, generally found as commensals in the human body and infection occurs when the immune system is compromised. We present the case of a 35-year-old diabetic woman, who presented with headache and sudden onset of left-sided weakness apart from scalp swelling, which on imaging showed transcalvarial transdural involvement, and subsequent surgical debridement and histopathologic analysis confirmed actinomycosis. Follow-up showed recurrence of the lesion at the same site following a period of remission. Calvarial involvement of actinomycosis is rare and can mimic even neoplastic or malignant lesions, hence requiring prompt diagnosis, treatment with surgery, and long-term antibiotic treatment to prevent complications.

Abstract: Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19 is an infectious disease first identified in Wuhan, China in December 2019. Prevention of COVID-19 infection is an important thing to do in reducing the spread of this virus. Boosting the body's immune system can be done as a preventive measure, one of which is by consuming natural plants such as red guava. This study aims to determine the molecular docking of red guava (Psidium guajava L.) as a plant to prevent COVID-19. This was an in silico with computerized methods. The samples in this study were ascorbic acid and quercetin compounds in red guava plants obtained from the PubChem website. The results showed that the binding affinity of ascorbic acid is -5.4 and the binding affinity of quercetin is -7.6. Remdesivir which was used as a positive control had a binding affinity of -7.3. In conclusion, quercetin compounds have better results than ascorbic acid compounds and remdesivir. Keywords: COVID-19, red guava, molecular docking  Abstrak: Coronavirus Disease 2019 atau COVID-19 merupakan suatu penyakit menular yang pertama kali ditemukan di Wuhan, Tiongkok pada Desember 2019. Ebola virus disease is one of the deadliest infections in the world today. The microbe to blame is the Ebola virus. It has already caused numerous outbreaks in Africa, in the regions located south of the Sahara. This article describes the main characteristics of this infectious disease as well as the currently available treatments, namely vaccines and antibodies. Antibodies are produced by the human body when it is infected by a microbe. Antibodies can be collected from the blood of infected humans or animals and purified or manufactured in a laboratory to produce drugs. While vaccines have demonstrated their effectiveness in preventing infectious diseases, antibodies are effective in stopping the progression of several infectious diseases. In this article, you will discover that the stimulation of the immune system, either by the vaccine or by antibodies, is essential to tackle Ebola virus disease.

Ayurvedic science believes that prevention is better than cure. Various theories are proposed in Ayurveda as well as modern science regarding diseases, their symptoms and management. Modernization came up with various technologies which provides rest to human body. This luxury caused a lot of problems to the human body. Hypertension is one of the major problems. According to Ayurvedic perspective, Hypertension is a symptom which is caused due to the prasaravastha followed by sthanasamshraya of vitiated tridosha (morbid factor) wherever modern science revealed Hypertension as "silent killer" which can be caused by various factors like stress, hereditary and sometimes it's cause is unknown. Elevation in blood pressure is also named as uchharaktachaap (tachycardia) in Ayurvedic Science. The path of Hypertension is pointed out by RAAS system, samprapti (manifestation) and samprapti ghatakas (components of manifestation procurement factor disease). To prevent this disturbance, some lifestyle changes are required in daily routine life. Different types of Ayurvedic and modern therapies are provided to cure the particular problem.
