This research was conducted to analyze the application of make a match learning model to improve the learning outcome of geography in class X of SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin with the material of geography principles. This research employed a quasi-experimental design method, quantitative approach and non-equivalent of pre-test and post-test control group design. The research included two groups namely the control and experimental groups. The number of the population was 67 students. All students in class X were used as the samples, where class X 1 was as the experimental class and X2 was as the control class. Students in class X 1 and X-2 were 35 students and 32 students.  The result of t-test showed that the value of post-test for experimental class using make a match learning model was 54.87. The post-test result from the control class using the conventional model was 48.05. The post-test using the make a match had the higher learning outcome than the conventional model. The make a match learning model had increased the student learning outcome of geography.

Abstract The GI-GI learning model is a combination of the Group Investigation and the Guided Inquiry model. The research aimed to examine the effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. The type of research carried out was Quasi-Experimental and used a post-test only control group design and purposive sampling covering four high schools in the Besuki Residency, two classes as the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument used tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed a significant effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. This research implies that the GI-GI learning model can condition students to research in groups to interact actively with friends and educators to exchange opinions, knowledge, or experiences, find and solve problems, and hypothesize through investigation, exploration, and discussion outside or inside in class.

The purpose of this study was to investigate, (1) the influence of constructivist metacognitive model compared to constructivist novick, and conventional model toward critical thinking, (2) the influence of academic achievement toward critical thinking, and (3) interaction of learning model and academic achievement toward critical thinking. The sample of this study consisted of 102 eleventh grade student from 3 state senior high schools in Surakarta. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research Pretest-Posttest, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Anacova was used to analyze the data. Critical thinking test was administered to the experimental and the control group as pre and post-tests to measure the critical thinking. The result showed that, (1) constructivist metacognitive and constructivist novick are not significantly different but those are significantly different from the conventional model toward critical thinking, (2) Upper academic students have higher critical thinking than lower academic students, (3) There is not interaction of learning model and academic achievement toward critical thinking

Lesson material presented in the form of data or facts and specific concepts on expository learning model helps learners to connect new material with material that precedes it, so organizers help is provided to instill meaningful learning. This study aims to determine the difference of influence of the implementation of learning model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer expository. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 3 Mataram academic year 2017/2018. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique, and quasi experimental research uses non-equivalent control group design with pre-test-and post-test. The results obtained from the classroom given the treatment of expository learning model assisted by advance organizer and post organizer have the same tendency improvement. In both classes there is a relatively similar increase in the mastery of the previous concept, but the difference between the two is not much different. Therefore, there is no difference of influence between expository model of assisted advance organizer and post organizer to the mastery of work and energy concepts of learners.

[Title: The Effect of STAD and Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model on the Physics Concepts Mastery]. This research aims to determine the influence of cooperative learning model of STAD and Jigsaw type through physics concept mastery of XI grade students in SMAN 1 Kediri. This type of research is the quasi experimental with posttest only control group design. The population of this research is all students of XI grade in SMAN 1 Kediri of 2018/2019 year of lesson with cluster random sampling taking technique. There are two samples that is the class that given treatment by cooperative learning model STAD’s type (class experiment 1) and class that given treatment by Jigsaw’s type (class experiment 2). The result revealed that the mean score of the post-test for concept mastery for two class in row are 73.69 and 61.07. The two class was homogeny and normal disrtribution. The research hypothesis was tested using t-test polled variances. The result showed that the value of ttab was higher than tarith, (2.841>2.021) at 5% as significancy, that mean H0 rejected and Ha received. Based on result of data analysis and discussion, the conclusion are there was an effect between cooperative learning model STAD and Jigsaw type through physics concept mastery of XI grade students in SMAN 1 Kediri.

This study aims to find out (1) the POGIL learning model effective on mathematical communication skills. (2) conventional learning models are effective against mathematical communication skills. (3) the difference between the POGIL learning model and the conventional model of mathematical communication skills. This research is quasi-experimental research with the research design of The Nonequivalent Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study is all students of grade VII MTS Negeri 02 Kerinci. This study's sample consisted of an experimental class and a control class selected by a random sampling cluster. The research instrument is a test f mathematical communication ability, and the data is analyzed using one-sample t-test statistics and independent t-test samples. This study shows that (1) the POGIL learning model is effective on mathematical communication skills. (2) conventional learning models are ineffective against mathematical communication skills. (3) there is a difference between the POGIL learning model and the conventional model of mathematical communication skills.

This study aims to determine the performance of the respondents in using the developed WebQuest in the Google site. This study used the quasi-experimental design method making use of pretest-posttest design. The developed teaching instruction was implemented to 30 Grade 6 Elementary pupils and to 30 pupils for traditional lecture method from selected public schools who were enrolled during the SY 2016 - 2017. Furthermore, the result of the study showed that there was a significant improvement in the respondents’ conceptual understanding in the concept of Circulatory System. Moreover, the result also showed that there is a difference between the post test scores of control group and experimental group. This strongly concludes that the WebQuest is really an effective tool in teaching Circulatory system. Respondents also revealed that the Google site was really enjoyable, entertaining, interactive and easy to learn.

This study aims at determining the differences in learning outcomes between groups of students who received treatment of probing-prompting models with simple media assisted with groups of students who did not receive treatment of probing-prompting model with simple media assisted on science subjects. This study is quasi-experimental research using non-equivalent design post-test only control group design. The population of this study is the entire class III SDN in Gugus III Banjar District. The sample of this research is SDN 3 Dencarik which amounted to 20 people as experiment group and SDN 2 Dencarik which amounted to 25 people as control group. The methods of data collection are using the test method that was done through multiple choice instrument test of science learning outcomes. The hyphotesis analysis was done by using t-test asissted with SPSS 20. The results showed that there were differences of learning outcomes in the group of students who were given the treatment of probing-prompting model with simple media assisted with the group of students who were not given treatment of probing-prompting model with simple media-assisted learning in the science lessonThus, the probing-prompting learning model with simple media assisted affects the learning outcomes of Science subject on grade III students in Gugus III Banjar District, Buleleng Regency, Year 2017/2018. The suggestion of this research is that it can be used as a guide in further research about simple media assisted probing-prompting learning model especially on IPA.

This study aims to determine the RADEC learning model's effectiveness in improving understanding of dynamic fluid material to XI students of Senior High School (SHS) in distance learning (distance learning). This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research population was all students of XI SHS classes, totalling 154 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample is XI-3 class as the control group and XI-4 class as the experimental group. The instrument used was a cognitive test. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the two groups' average value is that the pre-test control group was 58.12, and the post-test was 78.13, while the pre-test and post-test experimental group were 76.72 and 87.19. Thus, it can be concluded that the RADEC learning model is more effective than the conventional learning model.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Role Playing berbantuan media video terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi bunyi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Swasta Torsina III Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental, dalam bentuk Nonequivalent Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Torsina III Singkawang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik non probability dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes berupa tes objektif materi bunyi dan teknik non tes berupa angket respon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ranah kognitif antara siswa yang diterapkan model pembelajaran role playing berbantuan media video dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran langsung; (2) Penggunaan model pembelelajaran role playing berbantuan media video berpengaruh tinggi terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa; (3) Respon siswa positif terhadap model pembelajaran role playing berbantuan media video pada kategori baik. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran role playing; media video; hasil belajar kognitif. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of the video media-assisted Role Playing learning model on students' cognitive learning outcomes on sound material. The research was conducted at Torsina III Private Elementary School, Singkawang. The type of research is quantitative research with quasi-experimental method, in the form of Nonequivalent Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Torsina III Singkawang. Samples were taken using a non-probability technique with saturated sampling type. The data collection technique used a test technique in the form of an objective test of sound material and a non-test technique in the form of a response questionnaire. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in cognitive domain learning outcomes between students who applied the role playing learning model assisted by video media and students who received direct learning; (2) The use of role playing learning models assisted by video media has a high effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes; (3) Positive student responses to the video-assisted role playing learning model in the good category. Keywords: role playing learning model; video media; cognitive learning outcomes.

Some of the factors that cause perineal rupture consist of maternal factors, fetal factors, and helper factors. A method of reduce perineal rupture is a perinel massage to promote heatlh, blood flow and elasticity of the perineum. Based on preliminary study at PMB Shinta Nur Rochmayanti, SSiT., M.Kes from June to September of 2017 there were 20 births per month, and 70% had spontaneous birthrate while 30% had no perineal rupture. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perineal massage during pregnancy on the incidence of Rupture Perineum during delivery at the Midwives Practice Midwife Shinta Nur Rochmayanti, SSiT., M.Kes year 2018. The objektive of this study was to determine the effect of perineal massage on the incidence of perineal rupture in pregnant period during childbirth in independent practice of midwifery in PMB Shinta Nur Rochmayanti, SSiT., M.Kes year 2018.This study is Quasi Experimental study with Post Test Only Control Group Design method. The study was conducted in midwife Mandiri Practice (PMB) Shinta Nur Rochmayanti, SSiT., M.Kes Surabaya in 2018 with subject of 28 pregnant women 36 weeks pregnancy consisting of 14 intervention group and 14 control group. The study was conducted from December 2017 until April 2018, then the data were analyzed by Chi Square test. The incidence of Rupture Perineum in the intervention group after perineal massage was only 14,3% while in the control group 64,3%. The results showed that there was an effect of perineal massage during pregnancy on the incidence of perineum rupture (p <0.05). This study concluded that perineal massage during pregnancy affects the incidence of perineal rupture at delivery.Keywords: perineal massage, pregnant periode, perineal rupture
