In this chapter, the authors define the context of the person in social networks. Subsequently they introduce modeling and context of the development process of a person. Then they work on analyzing and feeling defined analysis technique, the sour feelings tweets and their characteristics, and method of how to recuperate data from Twitter by using API extraction.

Social functioning involves learning about the social networks in which we live and interact; knowing not just our friends, but also who is friends with our friends. This study utilized an incidental learning paradigm and representational similarity analysis (RSA), a functional MRI multivariate pattern analysis technique, to examine the relationship between learning social networks and the brain’s response to the faces within the networks. We found that accuracy of learning face pair relationships through observation is correlated with neural similarity patterns to those pairs in the left temporoparietal junction (TPJ), the left fusiform gyrus, and the subcallosal ventromedial prefrontal cortex (vmPFC), all areas previously implicated in social cognition. This model was also significant in portions of the cerebellum and thalamus. These results show that the similarity of neural patterns represent how accurately we understand the closeness of any two faces within a network. Our findings indicate that these areas of the brain not only process knowledge and understanding of others, but also support learning relations between individuals in groups.

AbstractSocial functioning involves learning about the social networks in which we live and interact; knowing not just our friends, but also who is friends with our friends. Here we utilized a novel incidental learning paradigm and representational similarity analysis (RSA), a functional MRI multivariate pattern analysis technique, to examine the relationship between learning social networks and the brain's response to the faces within the networks. These results show that the similarity of neural patterns represent how accurately we understand the closeness of any two faces within a network, regardless of their true relationship. Our findings indicate that these areas of the brain not only process knowledge and understanding of others, but also support learning relations between individuals in groups.Significance StatementKnowledge of the relationships between people is an important skill that helps us interact in a highly social world. While much is known about how the human brain represents the identity, goals, and intentions of others, less is known about how we represent knowledge about social relationships between others. In this study, we used functional neuroimaging to demonstrate that patterns in human brain activity represent memory for recently learned social connections.

Carnivalesque theory has been used as a model and a structure in the works carried out in many fields such as communication, literature, and sociology. In fact, Carnivalesque appears in many environments/areas, particularly in the social networks, which are the manifestation of social life. This chapter examines social networks in the context of carnivalesque theory to reveal facts of carnivalesque in Twitter. Content analysis technique was used in the research. Research data came from 10 Twitter accounts which have a maximum number of followers in Turkey. These data were analyzed and examined in terms of grotesque, dialogism, carnival laughter, upside-down world, marketplace, and marketplace speech belonging to the carnivalesque theory. According to the findings, the structure of Twitter, which is one of the most popular social networks in Turkey, is largely similar to the structure of the carnival and features of carnivalesque theory.

Information exchanges, debates, and negotiations through community social networks are essential to ensure the sustainability of the development process initiated in participatory research. The authors analyze the structural properties and robustness of a discussion network about mercury issues in a community in the Brazilian Amazon involved in a participatory research aimed at reducing exposure to the pollutant. Most of the villagers are connected in a large network and are separated from other individuals by few intermediaries. The structure of the discussion network displays resilience to the random elimination of villagers but shows vulnerability to the removal of one villager who has been a long-term collaborator of the project. Although the network exhibits a structure likely to favor an efficient flow of information, results show that specific actions should be taken to stimulate the emergence of a pool of opinion leaders and increase the redundancy of discussion channels.

The population in this study were all MSMEs players in the city of Denpasar, amounting to 30,840 MSMEs and the number of samples used as many as 100 MSME actors with a method of determining stratified proportional sampling. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of the analysis show that: 1) capital, labor, and social capital have a positive and significant effect on the development of MSMEs in Denpasar City. This means that the availability of capital, the working hours of MSME actors and the application of the three dimensions of social capital namely trust, social norms, and social networks are very influential on the development of the MSME business sector. 2) Capital, labor, social capital, and business development have a positive and significant effect on the income of SMEs in Denpasar City. This means that capital ownership, labor, social capital and the development of MSMEs will have a positive and significant impact on increasing the income of MSME players. 3) Business development is a variable that mediates the influence of capital, labor and social capital on the income of SMEs in Denpasar City.

This research aims to determine the development process and the feasibility of learning media for motorcycle chassis training kit at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro. The type of research used is R&D. The research subjects were 32 students of class X TBSM SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro. The data collection instruments used observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the evaluation criteria analysis to determine the feasibility of learning media. The results showed that: (1) The development process went through several stages, namely: (a) problem background; (b) problem identification; (c) development ideas; (d) pre-production stage (tools and materials); (e) production stage; (f) product development; (g) validation and revision; (h) feasibility test; and (i) wearable products; and; (2) Learning media for motorcycle chassis training kit are categorized as very suitable for use in learning with the results of validation of media experts by 90%, material experts by 95%, small group trial of 85.24%, and large group trial of 83.94%.

Gender study concerns with the effort to posit the women and men in equal position as a part of social system integratively. The aim of the effort is to eliminate gender equality which exists in society due to socio-cultural, political policies as well as religious doctrine interpretations factors. To realize this equal gender relation between men and women, gender analysis technique is used particularly in development process to assess the causes and the problems of unequal gender relation of both sexes. Thus, the result of analysis can be used as the considerations for women empowerment program to build up women's potentials that they can participate in development process together with men.

Relationships between users in social networks are evaluated in different ways. Here, our goal is to measure the strength of the ties between GitHub users by considering the temporal aspect of the network. Specifically, we analyze the evolution of these relationships by applying a classification algorithm over a GitHub network and calculate the persistence of them over different classes. The results bring new information about the collaborative software development process on the platform.

This study aims to develop, study the feasibility and effectiveness of mathematics comic media based on mind mapping for fifth-grade students of public elementary schools in Demak. The method used is the Sugiyono Research and Development model consisting of 7 steps. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, t-test, z-test and n-gain. The results showed the development process of mathematical comic media based on mind mapping on speed and discharge topics with the local cultural background of Demak city. Media was assessed by material, media, and language experts, and It showed valid results and very feasible to be implemented. This media's effectiveness is indicated by the improvement of the Students’ learning outcomes and learning achievement. Students and teachers' response about this media shows positive responses because the comic media are practical and complete content, such as (material, question, assignment, solution, and evaluation). The conclusion is learning media has been successfully developed. Mathematics comic media based on mind mapping is very feasible and practical used in learning mathematics, and it is efeffectively improvements’ learning.
