Emotional Intelligence and Empathic Linguistic Power in Times of Crisis

The human experience in times of crisis is a determinative indicator for the future wellbeing of generations. The lack of empathy and inactive emotional intelligence through all forms of linguistic conduct cause miscommunication and misconduct, which severely underestimates the intellectual potential of human beings. In a world of diversity, emotional intelligence and empathic linguistic power are crucial indicators of civilization and enlightenment. Given a richer understanding of the relationship between empathy and emotional intelligence from a sociolinguistic perspective, this study discusses the significance of including emotional intelligence and empathy in educational and intellectual programs. This study is the framework through which the empathic linguistic power within a society could be a determining power for crisis management and wellbeing at times of turmoil.

In this text we explore the relationship between vitiviniculture and environment, observing the current conjuncture in which environmental problems are worsening. Taking as a baseline a survey of the literature and as a time frame the 1970s to the present, we begin by examining the development of vitiviniculture from the wider perspective of the contemporary global agrifood system, highlighting in particular the environmental impacts generated by this system. Next, taking into account the panorama of vitiviniculture in Brazil, we turn our focus to notions of sustainability with the aim of outlining possibilities for a reconfiguring of this issue and, at the same time, contextualizing the extent to which the country has been pursuing this direction. We conclude that the future of winemaking depends especially on a more harmonious intervention of human beings in the environment.

ResumoO presente artigo aborda a relação entre capitalismo e destruição ambiental, numa perspectiva crítica. O objetivo foi demonstrar a relação específica entre ser humano e natureza instituída na sociedade capitalista e seus efeitos destrutivos, relação com as demais contradições do capitalismo e as possibilidades futuras. O modo de produção capitalista é o elemento fundamental para compreender o processo de destruição ambiental na sociedade moderna, especialmente em sua dinâmica marcada pela reprodução ampliada do capital. As ideologias que visam resolver o problema ambiental dentro do capitalismo são descartadas por causa dessa característica específica do capitalismo. A destruição ambiental é uma das contradições do capitalismo e pode se tornar a mais importante, promovendo o fim do capitalismo ou da humanidade. No entanto, o fim do capitalismo não ocorre sem ação humana e é essa que determina o que o substituirá. Isso coloca em evidência nossa responsabilidade na definição do futuro da humanidade.Palavras-chave: modo de produção capitalista, meio ambiente, destruição ambiental, tendências. AbstractThis article discusses the relationship between capitalism and environmental destruction, a critical perspective. The objective was to demonstrate the specific relationship between human beings and nature established in capitalist society and its destructive effects, compared with other contradictions of capitalism and the future possibilities. The capitalist mode of production is the key element to understand the process of environmental destruction in modern society, especially in its dynamic marked by the reproduction of capital. Ideologies aimed at solving the environmental problem within capitalism are discarded because of this specific characteristic of capitalism. Environmental destruction is one of the contradictions of capitalism and can become the most important, promoting the end of capitalism or of humanity. However, the end of capitalism is not without human action and it is this that determines what will replace it. This highlights our responsibility in shaping the future of humanity.Keywords: capitalist mode of production, environment, environmental destruction, trends. ResumenEn este artículo se analiza la relación entre el capitalismo y la destrucción ambiental, una perspectiva crítica. The youth is said to be the future of the nation upon which the destiny of the country depends to a large extent. Most of the students during adolescence suffer from frustrations, conflicts, complexes, anxieties and worries. They experience problems in physical, mental, social, emotional and other adjustments. Since, it is encountered by students during psychologically disturbing and difficult years of their adolescence; it is consequently major mental experience for most of them. However, whatever is needed is an understanding of their adjustment problems and thereby seeking the solution of those problems. Therefore, it becomes an important area of studying their adjustment problems. This study has been taken to know the relationship between emotional intelligence and social adjustment in adolescents because emotional intelligence includes traits like self-awareness, social deftness, and the ability to delay gratification, to be optimistic in the face of adversity, to channel strong emotions and show empathy towards others. It involves recognition, use, understanding and management of one’s and others emotional state to solve problems and regulate behavior.

The present study examined the relationship between emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial orientation on a sample of 301 students (future techno-managers) randomly selected from different departments of engineering and management of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India. All the respondents were administered on the scales of emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial orientation. The findings of the study showed positively significant correlation among the variables of emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial orientation. Regression analysis revealed significant contribution of emotional intelligence in predicting entrepreneurial orientation. The future implications of the study have been discussed in the light of empirical findings and in the context of effective entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial management.

Kecerdasan emosional dan spiritual (ESQ) merupakan penggabungan kecerdasan emosional untuk membentuk hubungan dengan sesama manusia, dan kecerdasan spiritual yang membentuk hubungan dengan Allah, sehingga pada akhirnya akan membentuk  hubungan dengan Allah dan sesama. Asmaul husna adalah kunci dari perkembangan emosional dan spiritual dalam membentuk akhlak yang mulia, karena sumber suasana hati manusia adalah asmaul husna itu sendiri. Selain hal tersebut peran orang tua dalam periode kehidupan seorang anak sangat penting, karena dapat menentukan lebih lanjut tumbuh kembang anak. Oleh karena itu, orang tua harus memberi kesempatan kepada anak-anak untuk tumbuh dan mengeluarkan ide-ide bagus secara emosional dan spiritual pada anak-anak. Dengan demikian, orang tua turut berkembang untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan emosi dan spiritual pada anak-anak. Hal-hal yang mempengaruhi kecerdasan ESQ adalah hubungan dalam keluarga itu sendiri adapun hubungan yang bersifat spiritual bisa melalui ibadah-ibadah ritual semacam shalat, puasa, berdzikir selalu mengingat Allah. Selain itu orang tua juga harus menanamkan prinsip-prinsip kebajikan pada ruh anak. Dalam tulisan ini penulis memaparkan banyak hal-hal yang mempengaruhi ESQ. Emotional and spiritual intelligence (ESQ) is an amalgamation of emotional intelligence to form relationships with fellow human beings, and spiritual intelligence that formed a relationship with God, so that it can form a relationship with God and human beings. Asmaul Husna is a key of emotional and spiritual development in shaping ahlakul karimah, because the source of human mood is asma al-husnā itself. The roles of parents in the period of a child’s life are very important, because it can determine further developments. Therefore, parents should give an opportunity to children to grow and expend good ideas, in  emotional and spiritual ways to children. Thus, parents  should try to develop emotional and spiritual intelligence of children. ESQ is affected by the relationships within the family itself and the relationship for the spiritual nature  can be through some sort of ritual forms of worship prayer, fasting, always remember Allah. In addition parents should also inculcate principles of virtue in the spirit of the child. In the modern world, today, due to rapid changes, development of technology, market demands, we can conclude that more than ever there is a danger of various types of crises. In this regard, more than ever before, it is necessary to understand what resources companies need to be more resilient to crises. This paper provides an overview of the theoretical framework, as well as research conducted in the field of emotional intelligence and crisis management. Many studies show that the importance of emotional intelligence of leaders in a crisis is great. Leaders who have a higher level of emotional intelligence possess certain skills that can be crucial to the organization in crisis situations. This paper aims to present the correlation that exists between emotionally intelligent leaders and crisis situations, taking into account several studies conducted in this area. All studies conducted have shown that there is a positive relationship between the emotional intelligence of leaders and crisis management. The conclusion is that examining the impact of the relationship between the emotional intelligence of leaders and the crisis is an exceptional framework that provides an opportunity for human resources to operate within organizations, as management of organizations themselves, seeking and shaping leaders with emotional intelligence skills.

Islamic education guides students in their development, both physical and spiritual to form honorable personality and character. And will become moral beings in the future in accordance with the noble values of our nation. Islamic educational purposes according to the Qur’an include (1) describes the position of learners as human beings between God and responsibilities in this life, (2) explaining to do as social beings and responsibilities in order of social life, (3) explain the relationship of man the nature and duty to know the wisdom of creation by way of prosperity of the universe, (4) to explain its relationship with God as the creator of the universe.

In the future, the most sought after skills will not only be technology-related, but there will be a huge demand for creativity, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.Based on this knowledge, a whole new economic model and a change to the old system will be needed.
