Errors are a major problem for users. In the distant past, the users of computer technology often were limited to computer professionals with extensive technical training. With the growth of personal computers and the Internet, millions of people without technical backgrounds use computer technology on a daily basis, both at work and for leisure activities. Because errors can be such a problem for the end user, it is important to examine the causes of error, as well as different approaches for assisting the end user. This chapter presents definitions of error, as well as a taxonomy of user error. There are two general approaches for assisting the end user in responding to errors: system design and training design. Both of these are discussed in-depth in this chapter. The purpose of this chapter is to describe the current situation of end-user error and suggest ways to improve the end -user experience.

Abstract The internet can be made as a way to transfer knowledge from lecturers to students, while Learning that utilizes the internet is one of the E-Learning Learning media. E-learning is distance learning that utilizes computer technology or computer networks or the Internet E-learning, so that it can enable the learning process through computers in their respective places without having to physically go to attend classes or lectures in class, Systems e-learning learning is a new way of teaching and learning. E-learning as a special learning media PAI courses provide a very important role and a large function in the course because so far there are many shortcomings and weaknesses such as the limitations of space and time in the teaching and learning process through E-learning which prioritizes the efficiency of learning so students get full teaching even though they do not have to be face to face, can also be accessed anywhere, anytime, according to the assignments given by the lecturer usually scheduled with a specified deadline. The development of education towards e-learning is a must so that the quality standards of education can be improved, E-learning is one of the uses of internet technology in the delivery of learning and its broad reach. E-learning can also be an answer to a health problem that is Pandemic Corona (Covid-19) which is very influential also in every aspect of life, especially in education. Keywords: Effectiveness, Utilization, Islamic Religious Education, E-Learning, Covid 19. There's a hidden science that affects every part of your life, a science so powerful that you would be hard-pressed to find a single human being on the planet unaffected by its achievements. It is the science behind computers, the machines which drive the supply and creation of power, food, medicine, money, communication, entertainment, and most goods our stores. It has transformed societies with the Internet, the digitization of information, mobile phone networks, and GPS technologies. Written in friendly and approachable language, Digitized provides a window onto the mysterious field from which all computer technology originates, making the theory and practice of computation understandable to the general reader. This popular science book explains how and why computers were invented, how they work, and what will happen in the future. Written by a leading computer scientist, Peter J. Bentley, it tells this fascinating story using the voices of pioneers and leading experts interviewed for the book, in effect throwing open the doors of the most cutting-edge computer laboratories. Bentley explores how this young discipline grew from the early work by pioneers such as Turing, through its growth spurts in the Internet, its difficult adolescent stage where the promises of AI were never achieved and dot-com bubble burst, to its current stage as a semi-mature field, capable of remarkable achievements. Packed with real-world examples, Digitized is the only book to explain the origins and key advances in all areas of computing: theory, hardware, software, Internet, user interfaces, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence. If you have an interest in computers--whether you work with them, use them for fun, or are being taught about them in school--this book will provide an entertaining introduction to the science that's changing the world.

With the advent in mobile and internet technologies, there is a significant increase in the number of users using smartphones and other internet based applications. There are a large number of applications available online that use the internet and provide useful information to the users. These include ones that provide location-based services e.g. google maps etc. These applications provide many facilities to the users who want information regarding a specific area or directions using an optimal path to a destination. Due to these reasons, the number of clients using these applications is increasing on a daily basis. Although these services are very useful and are making it easy for us to get information about our surroundings, some issues are also linked with the use of these applications and their services. One of the more significant issues of using these services is privacy with respect to sending personal location information to location-based services servers. Researchers have provided many solutions to solve these issues. One of the solutions is through caching and use of k-anonymity techniques. In this paper, we have proposed a method to solve the privacy issue that uses caching data approach to reduce the number of queries sent to the location-based services server. We also discuss the use of the concept of k-anonymity when no relevant data is available in cache, and queries are sent to the server.

Mobile health encompasses remote and wireless applications to provide health services. Despite the advantages of applying mobile-based monitoring systems, there are challenges and limitations; understanding the challenges may assist in identifying available solutions and optimising decision-making to apply mHealth technologies more practically. This study aimed to investigate the main challenges related to mHealth-based systems for health monitoring purposes. This review was carried out through investigation of English evidence from four databases, including Scopus, PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science, using a defined search strategy from 2013 to 2017. Two independent researchers reviewed the results based on PRISMA guidelines, and data was categorised using a bottom-up approach to reach a framework for the most general challenges. Among the 105 papers obtained, eight works were selected. The revealed challenges were categorised into six main branches across a tree (with 55 nodes, four levels) including user-related, infrastructure, process, management, resource and training challenges. Identifying the resolvable and preventable challenges, such as those related to training, design might play a crucial role in preventing loss of resources and in growing the success rate of a project, particularly if considered in national level projects.
