This paper builds on research presented by the authors at IRMA 2001. Previous research by Chau and Turner (2001b) adapted the work of Venkatraman (1994) to explore the relationship between the degree of SME organisational transformation and potential benefits derived from e-commerce. The qualitative data explored reveals various factors that influence SME’s ability to derive benefit from conducting Web-based e-commerce. A preliminary review suggests that these factors can be distinguished into internal factors (organisational and technological) and external factors (nature of supply chain, level of service provided by third party organisations, industry influence, and government assistance). This paper discusses these factors and their implications for modelling e-business organisational transformation.

Corporate governance is one of the most vital issues in this compound environment at present, which is indicated by the fact that the success or failure of firms strongly depends on performance of the control that board of directors and executive board, take on corporations’ activities. This issue has attracted a variety of researches worldwide, and become a popular buzz lately, however there is still limited researches on this topic in Vietnam. In this paper, we focus on manufacturing sector, one of the most important industries in Vietnam economy, which account for 41.2% of total GDP in 2012. By using stakeholder theory and Kitamura’s paper as a corner stone, a model using OLS regression and log functional form for production function, showing the relationship between some external factors and internal factors including corporate governance is built. From the result of the research, it has been found out that internal factors (corporate governance) significantly affect the firm’s performance, whereas external factors (market share) do not really show any influence. In term of production function, this manufacturing sector still benefits from an increase of capital but not that of labor.

This study aims to determine the participation rate of Women Farmers Group members in implementing the Pekarangan Pangan Lestari program in Kendari City and analyze the relationship between the participation rate with internal and external factors of Women Farmers Group members in the Pekarangan Pangan Lestari program. The research was conducted in June-July 2021. The population in this study was 53 members of the Women Farmers Group. Using the census method, 53 group members were obtained as research samples. The variables of this research are the participation rate, internal factors, and external factors. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis through the Likert scale measuring tools and Spearman Rank correlation. The results showed that the participation rate of Women Farmers Group members in implementing the Pekarangan Pangan Lestari program was the Seruni Women Farmers Group was in the medium category, and the Mekopoaso Women Farmers Group was in the high sort. The relation between the participation rate with internal and external factors of the Women Farmers Group members in the Pekarangan Pangan Lestari is the participation rate obtained which is significantly related to internal factors, namely the level of education and type of work, and external factors, namely the availability of agricultural tools and facilities.

SummaryThis paper studies the relationship between firm growth and external factors. Externalities from related economic, public research and higher educational activities are traced back to specific locations in space. The spatial characteristics of their impact are examined within a distancebased, micro-founded approach. Applying quantile regression techniques on a large sample of German firms, we empirically disentangle the complex interplay between internal factors (firm size), external factors and their spatial extent. In particular, we find that the larger firms are, the more diverse are the activities they benefit from and that the geographical meaning of “nearby” depends on the kind of activity.

It is a fact that the UMKM’s are resistant due to monetary crisis in Indonesia. It proves UMKM’s significant and important roles of the economic development in establishing employment, improving National Gross Domestic Product and developing national industries. Because of these potentials of UMKM’s, banks should provide assistantships by providing their loan as financial aids. It is however, influenced by some factors such as internal and external factors. The aim of this research was to analyze the influence of internal factors which refers to internal bank condition such as third party funds (DPK), capitals, profitability, risk and liquidity toward UMKM’s at syaria banking in Indonesia. The data of the study were taken from general syaria bank (BUS) and syaria business unit (UUS) which were provided in the syaria banking statistic from Indonesian central bank (official website of BI) from 2008 up to Juni 2013. Due to the limited data provided in syaria banking statistic, the 2008 and 2009 data were three-monthly: March, June, September and December while the 2010 to Juni 2013 data were monthly. Thus, there were 50 time series of observation. The data were analyzed by using regression provided in 17.0 ver. SPSS. The result of regression test shows that internal factors which significantly influenced UMKM’s finance at syaria banking were the DPK and liquidity, whereas the other factors such as the capital, profit and risk had no significance on the financing UMKM’s.

<p>Density of boarding activities demanding students to do more intense routines. These routines can be a pressure for students that experienced mental fatigue of Burnout. Burnout can be affected by external factors or internals. Internals factors become very important because individual assessnebt against external factors depend on its internal factors. The method of this research is quantitative correlational by using the boarding school’s students as subjects. Determination of the subject use proporsionate stratified random sampling. The method of data collection is spread  the questioner wich contain Hardiness and Burnout scale based on aspects of each variables. This research analyze the relationship of Hardiness as internal factor with Burnout on boarding school’s students. This research use quantitative correlational method with a scale of Hardiness and Burnout that distribute on 97 boarding school’s students. The result of this research are calculated using the correlational product moment, then obtained a very  significant result with a value of correlational is – 0,714. Based on the result , the correlation between Hardiness and Bunrout has proven with a negative direction of hypothesis. Based on simple regression analysis on the results, obtained F of 92,664 with sig = 0.000 which sig &lt;0.05. The effective contribution of Hardiness against Burnout is 50.5%, the meaning there is still a 49.5% chance of Burnout is affected by other variables.<strong></strong></p>

Banks are financial institutions that collect and distribute funds in the forms of deposits such as savings, deposits, current accounts, etc. from and for people who need funds for various needs, such as for consumption, working capital or business capital, housing and investment. In addition, banks must help the community to improve their living standards by distributing funds or giving credit to people who need funds. This is in accordance with the function of the bank itself, namely the bank as the distributor of funds. The purpose of this research is to examine and obtain evidence about factors that influence loan distribution at a bank. Internal factors that influence loan distribution are Third Party Funds, Non-Performing Loans, and Profitability. Efforts to increase credit at banks require optimal efforts to raise third-party funds, good credit management, and capital strengthening. This type of research is quantitative research with purposive sampling technique. The population used in this study is commercial banks from 2013 to 2017. The data come from commercial bank financial statements. As the benefit of this research the government can use it as a mapping material for distributing loan to commercial banks; the bank management can take it into consideration in making commercial bank lending policies. The results of the research show that profitability can mediate the relationship between third party funds and non-performing loans on loan distribution. Third party funds have a significant positive effect on loan distribution. Non-Performing Loans have a significant negative effect on loan distribution. Keywords: LOAN DISTRIBUTION, THIRD PARTY FUNDS, NON-PERFORMING LOANS, AND PROFITABILITY

In this chapter, we provide a brief description of the development of markup languages, describe their role in the context of web application development and deployment, and finally provide an example of an XML application for a simple Web page displaying a typical sales invoice. Our objective in this example is to illustrate the relationship between the relational and XML representation of data that is required for the use of XML in the development of web-based applications in electronic commerce.
