The maturation of digital and technological learning in recent years has prompted a global transformation of teaching approaches. The aim of this research is to effectively improve students' learning motivation and their performance of dance skills. Through a quasi-experimental research design, teaching research was conducted with four different teaching approaches including blended learning (BL), flipped learning (FL), online remedial teaching (ORT), and traditional teaching during an 18-week term. The subjects of study were 199 university students in four sections of a dance course. Analysis based on the research results shows that BL is significantly more effective than FL in improving the learning effects of students 'dance skills; it is also significantly more effective than ORT and traditional teaching in improving students' learning motivation, and student reaction to two aspects, “value” and “expectancy.” In addition, students receiving FL not only have better “task value” than students receiving ORT.

Abstract. Blended learning is a learning model that lecturers can apply to optimize the learning outcomes. This study, entitled "The Effectiveness of Blended Learning to Increase Student Motivation" aims to determine the extent of the effectiveness of Blended Learning in increasing the learning motivation on the first semester students of the English Literature Study Program at Khairun University. This research was carried out at the English Literature Study Program a quasi-experimental study designed on using the non-equivalent control group design. A total of 50 on the first semester students were sampled in this study. The sample was divided into 2 classes, experimental class used blended learning and the control class used face-to-face learning, each consisted of 25 students. The learning motivation questionnaire was used as the instrument in collecting the data related to students learning motivation. The results showed that there were significant differences between students learning motivation in the experimental class and students in the control class after had been given different treatments. The researcher also found that the application of Blended Learning was effective in increasing the learning motivation of the first semester students of English Literature Study Program at Khairun University.

In this paper, the development of the MAR (mobile augmented reality) remedial teaching program is described. It allowed students to manipulate augmented objects through AURASMA app via internet and find leads to solve geometry problems regarding compound-cube-surface area. In order to foster students' spatial abilities, the program provided specific functions included partition, complementation, recombination, and multi-perspective to promote their “mental image” as well as “visualization.” The proposed program was evaluated with the quasi-experimental pre-test/post-test control group design to probe into students' learning performance. Moreover, students' error types of problem-solving were analyzed using their solving track recorded in the sheets. The results showed that the MAR remedial teaching program truly benefit students on solving geometry problems regarding compound-cube-surface area, and there are still some questions needed to investigate in the future, such as how students were affected by visual-obscuration to inexactly carry out their counts.

Learning innovation in Higher Education with a scientific approach based learning has been integrated with Information and Communication Technology. This encourages students to solve problems in accordance with the real conditions in the surrounding environment. In addition, it can create self-reliance and learning motivation for students to learn science without any time and place limitation. This study aims to implement scientific approach based learning through the Problem Based Learning model based on Blended Learning in Animal Ecology subjects. This research method is Quasi Experimental Design with Non Equivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design in Experimental groups through combined Problem Based Learning. Blended Learning. The sample of this research is Biology Education students of FKIP Universitas Samudra. The research instrument used cognitive tests in the form of Essay questions and ARCS motivation questionnaires. Qualitative data analysis by testing Validity and Reliability. Hypothesis testing with the prerequisite test for data normality and paired t sample t test. The results of the study obtained the value of t arithmetic = 13.61 or with Sig (2-tailed) (0.00) α α (0.05) thus Ha was accepted that the significant cognitive learning outcomes of students occurred through learning Blended Learning-based Problem Based Learning. Student learning motivation is categorized into three: very high, high, and medium. The percentage of students in the three categories is 30%, 63.33%, and 7% respectively.

This paper provides a review of the research related to the use of blended learning in English as a second/foreign language context. Blended learning is a relatively new field that combines traditional teaching approaches with distance and online learning. The use of blended learning has been emphasized by the recent research that examines the academic and social benefits of this teaching approach. Because it combines traditional and online teaching modes, the promise of blended learning rests on the strengths of both teaching approaches. The present review of the literature revealed that blended learning can be used effectively to develop language skills, enhance the English learning environment, and promote students’ motivation toward learning the language. There is a dearth of literature that examines the challenges that face language teachers when using blended learning. Hence, more research has to be done to identify and deal with these challenges.

Blended learning has gained increasing popularity in colleges and universities with mixed results. Precision teaching can effectively promote learning performance. The relation between perceived precision teaching (PPT) and the learning performance of college students in a blended learning environment is investigated in this paper. In the research survey is featuring a structural model, 256 college students who attended blended learning courses featuring precision teaching participated. The model results revealed that PPT is directly and positively related to self-efficacy and learning motivation. Self-efficacy and learning motivation are directly and positively related to cognitive, teaching, and social presence. Additionally, cognitive, teaching, and social presence are directly and positively related to learning performance. Therefore, PPT is remotely and indirectly related to learning performance. These findings provide a new perspective for the theoretical study on blended learning performance and provide a realistic reference for precision teaching practice in the blended learning environment.

Background: The use of games and technology for educational purposes can be an appropriate method of enhancing learning performance. Therefore, this study presents a technology-mediated board game and its related course to engage young learners in Indonesia for learning English vocabulary. The study investigated young learners' vocabulary learning performance and learning motivation as the effects of using technology-mediated board game in the course. Methodology: This study employed a quasi-experimental design involving 67 students of one urban and one rural primary school. The vocabularies of fruits and vegetables were implemented online in the game by using QR codes. The instructional practices are to improve students' learning achievement and to find out students' learning motivation. The pre-test, post-test, and Keller's ARCS motivation model were conducted to analyze the effectiveness of technology-mediated board game for learning English vocabulary. Findings: The main finding indicated that technology-mediated board games could improve students' English vocabulary learning achievement. Moreover, the use of technology-mediated board games encouraged young learners to have strong learning motivation. On the other hand, the game could promote students to have a concept in gardening that can be encounter in their daily life. Conclusion: These findings imply that technology-mediated board game becomes an effective way of teaching English vocabulary to young learners in Indonesia.

The benefits promoted by the use of the blended-learning model in higher education have been well studied from a general point of view, but no conclusive results have been achieved so far. However, within the field of engineering, these researches are quite scarce and become even rarer in the case of researches trying to demonstrate whether the benefits of blended learning could be compared to those achieved by classroom education. Learning platforms allow us to incorporate rich learning resources, interactive tools that foster collaborative learning, student to student, student to professor and student-professor-student interactions. Learning platforms also give us the opportunity of incorporating tasks that allow students to check the progress of their own learning processes. This paper presents the results of a research carried out at theSchoolofTechnical Architectureof theUniversityofSevillewith students enrolled in the Materials Science course. The aim of this investigation was to compare students’ results when trained by means of traditional teaching and blended learning. In order to achieve our goal we followed a quasi-experimental, descriptive and correlational design applied to two non-equivalent groups. The results indicated that in the blended-learning model, the students had more academic success as compared to traditional teaching.
