Based on the theoretical analysis on working principle and motion of the electro-hydraulic proportional variable piston pump, it created and simulated the model in the AMESIM software. The influences of main structural parameters of variable pump on system output dynamic characteristics were revealed after simulating analysis results of pressure control characteristics. And the steady state output of system pressure is proportional to the input voltage of amplifier. The overshoot decreases with the increasing of input voltage, and the response get faster. The damping aperture of proportional reversing valve and core diameter of control plunger have a greater influence on the dynamic response of system.

According to the hydraulic driven system working principle of crawler bulldozer, the simulation model of electro-hydraulic proportional control driven system was established by using AMESim, and the simulation was carried out. The simulation result indicates that using feedback regulation in control of hydraulic motor of driven system, the system pressure stay in a relatively stable state, which is conducive to the efficient operation system. As the load increasing suddenly, the system pressure volatile during the volume of hydraulic motor changing. However, steady state can be quickly restored.

We numerically investigate the effect of scaling two key structural parameters in antiresonant hollow-core fibers—dielectric wall thickness of the cladding elements and core size—in view of low-loss mid-infrared beam delivery. We demonstrate that there exists an additional resonance-like loss peak in the long-wavelength limit of the first transmission band in antiresonant hollow-core fibers. We also find that the confinement loss in tubular-type hollow-core fibers depends strongly on the core size, where the degree of the dependence varies with the cladding tube size. The loss scales with the core diameter to the power of approximately −5.4 for commonly used tubular-type hollow-core fiber designs.

In this paper, we propose a method for the identification of the differential inductance of saturable ferrite inductors adopted in DC–DC converters, considering the influence of the operating temperature. The inductor temperature rise is caused mainly by its losses, neglecting the heating contribution by the other components forming the converter layout. When the ohmic losses caused by the average current represent the principal portion of the inductor power losses, the steady-state temperature of the component can be related to the average current value. Under this assumption, usual for saturable inductors in DC–DC converters, the presented experimental setup and characterization method allow identifying a DC thermal steady-state differential inductance profile of a ferrite inductor. The curve is obtained from experimental measurements of the inductor voltage and current waveforms, at different average current values, that lead the component to operate from the linear region of the magnetization curve up to the saturation. The obtained inductance profile can be adopted to simulate the current waveform of a saturable inductor in a DC–DC converter, providing accurate results under a wide range of switching frequency, input voltage, duty cycle, and output current values.

This paper presents an L1 adaptive controller for pressure control using an engine bleed valve in an aircraft air management system (AMS). The air management system is composed of two pressure-regulating bleed valves, a temperature control valve, a flow control valve, and a heat exchanger/precooler. Valve hysteresis due to backlash and dry friction is included in the system model. The nonlinearities involved in the system cause oscillations under linear controllers, which decrease component life. This paper is the unique in the consideration of these uncertainties for control design. This paper presents simulation results using the adaptive controller and compares them to those using a proportional–integral (PI) controller.

In this paper, two types of high step-up coupled inductor inverters based on qSBIs (quasi- switched boost inverters) are proposed. By applying the coupled inductor to the qSBIs, the voltage gain of the proposed inverter is regulated by turn ratio and duty ratio. Thus, a high voltage gain can be achieved without the circuits operating at the extreme duty cycle by choosing a suitable turn ratio of the coupled inductor. In addition, the proposed circuits have the characteristics of continuous input current and low voltage stress across the passive components. A boost unit can be added to the proposed inverters for further improvement of the voltage gain. In this paper, the working principle, steady state analysis, and the comparisons of the proposed inverter with other impedance-source inverters are described. A 200 W prototype was created and the experimental results confirm the correctness of the analysis in this paper.

An alternative means of independently controlling column pressure in supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) by resistively heating the post-column restrictor is demonstrated. Compared to conventional block heating methods, resistive restrictor heating provides at least four times greater pressure programming rates and allows for much faster cooling times in between runs, thereby increasing sample throughput. When applying resistive restrictor heating in proximity to a flame ionization detector, the chromatographic baseline noise increases substantially and obscures peaks. However, adding about 100 mL/min of nitrogen into the flame burner essentially removes this noise and returns the detector response to normal. The analyte retention time in consecutive pressure gradient trials reproduces well with a minimal relative standard deviation of 0.36% (n = 3). The resistive restrictor heating technique presented is also found to be equally effective for either capillary or packed SFC operating modes. Results suggest that this method can potentially provide a simple, inexpensive, and convenient alternative to limited passive restrictors or more costly and complex backpressure regulators that are often used to maintain system pressure in supercritical fluid chromatography.

Fly back converter is the most popular converter because of its simplicity, low part counts and isolation. It occupies less volume and it saves cost. Fly back converter steps up and step down the voltage with the same polarity. Open loop operation remains insensitive to the input voltage and load variations. Matlab Simulink model for Fly back converter is established using PI controller. Open loop Fly back converter system and closed loop fly back converter systems are simulated and their outcomes are compared. Comparison is done in terms of Rise time ,Settling time and steady state error

Accurate measurement of overvoltage in power grids is of great significance to study the characteristics of overvoltage and design of insulation coordination. Based on the research of D-dot voltage sensor, we designed a Dual-Differential D-dot overvoltage sensor. In order to quantify the structural parameters of the sensor, improve the performance and measurement accuracy of the sensor. The Field-Circuit Coupling method was proposed to be used in the parameter design of D-dot overvoltage sensor. The joint simulation of space electromagnetic field model and equivalent circuit model of the Dual-Differential D-dot overvoltage sensor was established with the finite element simulation software Ansoft Maxwell and circuit simulation software Simplorer. Finally, the actual sensor was manufactured. A test platform was built to verify the steady-state and transient performance of the sensor. The results show that the Dual-Differential D-dot sensor has excellent steady-state and transient performance, the error of phase and amplitude are small, and the sensor can achieve the non-contact measurement of power transmission line. Simultaneously, the rationality of the Field-Circuit Coupling method was further verified.
