Adopting the cold metal transfer plus pulse (CMT + P) process, 316L stainless steel wire was treated with a single channel multi-layer deposition experiment under different linear energy. The microstructures of different regions on the deposited samples were observed by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope, and the element distribution in the structure was analyzed by energy dispersive spectrometer. The mechanical properties and microhardness were measured by tensile test method and microhardness tester, respectively, and the anisotropy of tensile strength in horizontal and vertical directions were calculated. Finally, the fracture morphology of the tensile samples were observed by SEM. Experiment results showed that when the difference between the actual and the optimal wire feeding speed matching the specific welding speed was too large, this led to an unstable deposition process as well as flow and collapse of weld bead metal, thus seriously deteriorating the appearance of the deposition samples. The results from metallographic micrograph showed that rapid heat dissipation of the substrate caused small grains to generate in the bottom region of deposition samples, then gradually grew up to coarse dendrites along the building direction in the middle and top region caused by the continuous heat accumulation during deposition. Tensile test results showed that with the increase of linear energy, the horizontal and vertical tensile strength of the as-deposited samples decreased. In addition, the higher linear energy would deteriorate the microstructure of as-deposited parts, including significantly increasing the tendency of oxidation and material stripping. The microhardness values of the bottom, middle and top regions of the samples fluctuated along the centerline of the cross-section, and the values showed a trend of decreasing first and then rising along the building direction. Meanwhile, the yield strength and tensile strength of each specimen showed obvious anisotropy due to unique grain growth morphology. On the whole, the results from this study prove that CMT+P process is a feasible MIG welding additive manufacturing method for 316L stainless steel.

Health istitha'ah is the health ability of the pilgrims physically and mentally with a measurable health assesment. It is essential for every citizen who will perform the hajj pilgrimage. The Indonesian Ministry of Health through the Non-Infectious Disease Integrated Service Post (Posbindu PTM) implements an early detection and prevention program for non-infectious diseases in sub-districts, schools or colleges, institutions or workplaces, and Hajj guidance groups (KBIH) especially for pilgrims. The department of public health and community medicine (IKM-IKK) of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University perform an education on the detection of risk factors for non-infectious diseases and physical fitness assesment of prospective pilgrims in the context of community service activities at KBIH Bisri Palembang. Examinations were done on 40 prospective pilgrims using the Rockport test method. The results of the examination showed that the 24 pilgrims had moderate fitness level (60%). The blood pressure test results showed that 9 pilgrims had hypertension (22%) and the nutritional status test showed that 20 pilgrims were overweight and obese (38.5%). In addition, there is an assesment for prospective hajj pilgrims in order to understanding risk factors for non-infectious diseases. The result shows that there is a significant increase in understanding about non-infectious diseases in the adaptation of new habits.

Parameters in the welding need to be known because the effect on the mechanical properties of the material after the welding process. This research purposes to find out the influence of variation of SMAW welding current on Stainless Steel AISI 304, with variation of electric current equal to 70A, 80A and 90A.The electrode of AWS A5.4 E308-16 with diameter of 2.6 mm is used. Dye penetrant test, tensile test and metallographic test applied to analysis the characteristic. Based on data from tensile test results obtained the highest value on the specimen welding current 90A is equal to 632 MPa. The lowest tensile strength value recorded on the specimens of current 70A is 498.66 MPa.

This study is an experimental research on using stainless steel car body structure for urban railway vehicles. The car body used in the experiment was made of stainless steel. To evaluate the structural characteristics and safety of the stainless car body, static load test was carried out by means of "Performance Test Standard for Electrical Multiple Unit" with the reference code JIS E 7105. The structural safety of the car body was evaluated by implementing vertical load, horizontal compressive load, twist load, and 3-point support tests. Test results verified that the structural safety of a car body was very stable and safe under design load conditions.

Friction welding is a type of solid state welding where the welding process is carried out in a solid phase to combine various types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals that cannot be welded by the fusion welding method but for welding different metals the welding results are less than optimal due to cracks on the surface of the welding results and differences in mechanical properties that cause the welding result to be brittle, therefore an interlayer is used. In this study, observations were made on the process and results of the joint friction welding using dissimilar metal material between mild steel ST37 and stainless steel 201 with copper interlayer. The results of the test will be a tensile test to see the maximum tensile strength and a hardness test to see the hardness value of the interlayer variation of 0.3 mm, 0.5 mm, 1 mm and without an interlayer. The conclusions obtained are: (1) The effect of the addition of an interlayer on the rotary friction welding process includes the friction phase, the forging phase and the results of welding parameters in the form of motor power, motor angular speed, the change in specimen length is greater without using an interlayer compared to using an interlayer while the duration of welding time is greater using an interlayer than without using an interlayer. (2) The maximum tensile test results were obtained at the 1 mm interlayer at 482.43 MPa and the maximum hardness test results obtained at the 1 mm interlayer were 321.34 VHN.

This study proposes a novel manufacturing method, a hollow braiding technique, to make reticular tubes. Coronary stents for coronary arteries have to have a size equal to the size of the arteries, and as a result, material and diameter of stents are both critical designed parameters. By using a hollow braiding technique and a braiding machine, 316L stainless steel fibers are made into coronary stents with an internal diameter of 3 mm, which meets the requirement of coronary arteries. The experiment results show that the hollow braiding technique can effectively braid reticular tubes with an internal diameter of 3 mm. In addition, variation in tooth number on the take-up gear can influence the braiding angle but does not influence the stability of the braiding structure and metal cover rate. In this study, the hollow braiding technique successfully produces coronary stents in the form of reticular tubes with a size equal to coronary arteries.
