The environmental situation in Russia is characterized by a high level of anthropogenic impact on the environment, significant environmental consequences of past economic activity. Their disposal and storage costs 8-10 % of the cost of products, so the disposal of such waste is of paramount importance.Due to the involvement of multi-tonnage waste in the production of ceramic materials of mass consumption, which include wall materials, it is possible to radically change the parameters of the raw material base of Russia, which also helps to reduce environmental tensions in the regions. The reduction of reserves of traditional natural raw materials makes us look for new ways to replace it with different types of waste. The experience of advanced foreign countries has shown the technical feasibility of this area and the use of more as a tool to protect the environment from pollution. However, almost all basic building materials can be made from waste or from waste in combination with natural raw materials. On the basis of fusible clay and waste basalt-gabbro-norite charge, which is formed in the production of mineral wool obtained ceramic brick with high physical and mechanical properties, brick grade M150 and above. The absolute advantage of the use of multi-tonnage waste is the unloading of the environmental situation, which contributes to the solution of industrial waste disposal and environmental protection. Innovative proposals for the use of waste from the production of mineral wool in the production of wall materials - ceramic bricks based on fusible clay, the novelty of which is confirmed by patents of the Russian Federation.

Production of ceramic bricks  one of the most material-intensive sectors of the economy, so the rational use of fuel, raw materials and other material resources is a decisive factor in its successful development in the context of economic reform. In this regard, the use of waste in ceramic mate-rials is of particular relevance. On the basis of beidellite clay, waste: energy ─ ash and slag material and non-ferrous metallurgy ─ sludge Nickel-skeletal catalyst obtained ceramic brick with high physical and mechanical properties. Innova-tive proposals for the use of waste from the production of mineral wool in the production of wall materials – ceramic bricks based on fusible clay, the novelty of which is confirmed by a patent of the Russian Federation.

Both raw and recycled fiber materials are used for paper production. The increase in percentage use of the latter is due to their paper-forming properties, availability and low cost. The article explores the possibility of using pulp from the inner layer of mulberry twig bark. Mulberry twigs, after removing leaves, which are the main raw material in silk production, have no practical industrial application. Recycling waste - mulberry branches - for the production of pulp is therefore relevant as it is aimed at solving raw material and environmental problems. The purpose of this work is to use local raw materials for paper production, study the impact of processing method of the grinding process on paper forming properties. During grinding the mechanical processes of changes of fibers determine mainly structure of a paper sheet, and colloidal-physical processes - bind and ability of fibers to form strong, homogenous and smooth structure of paper. The structure of the sheet of paper facilitates excessive or "selective" ink absorption into the pores of the paper and thus predetermines the quality of reproduction during the printing process. Methods for determining the physical and mechanical properties of papers were used in this work, and changes in the surface structure of samples cast at various technological modes of the milling process were studied. The results of the study revealed that the addition of cellulose mass from the inner layer of mulberry twig bark helps to obtain a strong paper. The optical properties of the paper, which contains cotton and cellulose from the inner layer of mulberry branch bark, are explained by the whiteness of the added fibers themselves. The strength properties of the paper at a weight grinding degree of 300 CWR are explained by the bond between the split and strongly interwoven fibers of the cellulose fibers. It has been established that the addition of more than 30% cellulose from the inner layer of the mulberry branch bark to the paper pulp mass is undesirable, as this adversely affects the whiteness of the paper

Virgin raw materials can be partially replaced by glass waste in order to reduce the environmental impact being its recycling a significant problem for municipalities worldwide. In Italy in 2013, approximately 1,600,000 tons of container glass have been collected but it was not possible to recycle all of them in the glass melting process. This work is focused on the valorization of glass waste as raw material in new cement and ceramic products, to convert it from an environmental and economic burden to a profitable, added-value resource in the formulation of new mixes. Several parameters, such as grinding, forming, firing, etc. have been studied. It has been optimized the grinding and the reclaiming step of waste to obtain an alternative raw material for hot and cold consolidation processes. Chemical, physical and mechanical properties of products were carried out. The results show new real possibilities to use high amounts of glass waste as an alternative raw material in products consolidated either by hot or cold techniques, reducing the management problems of the glass waste.

Trends in housing development should be based on the geographical location and climatic conditions of the region, national characteristics and culture, natural resources, transport links, density and living standards. Construction significantly affects the socio-economic development of the region. In this regard, increasing the sustainability of the regional construction complex, which is based on the building materials industry and the construction industry is a relevant and promising area of research.Demand in the building materials market continues to stimulate increased interest in the development of new types of efficient and inexpensive building materials. Since construction is one of the most material-intensive sectors of the economy, which consumes a large number of construction materials and products, various measures are taken to reduce their cost.In this regard, recently in the construction seek to make greater use of local building materials. This allows you to unload transport from long-distance transportation and significantly reduces the cost of construction. However, the building materials industry cannot develop by focusing only on natural sources of raw materials, as the costs of their extraction and processing are constantly growing. The use of man-made waste provides production with a rich source of cheap and often already prepared raw materials, which reduces the cost of manufacturing building materials. One of the promising areas in the construction of affordable housing is the maximum use of building materials and products that can be obtained from local raw materials and industrial waste. As local building materials are offered: clay, sand, soil, straw, reeds, flax. The use of industrial waste solves both environmental, fuel and energy problems and expands the raw material base of building materials.

The possibility of obtaining wood and plant plastics without a binder (WP-WB) in the presence of a catalyst of man-ganese-containing sodium vanadomolybdophosphate has been investigated. The use of this catalyst makes it possible to reduce the temperature of hot pressing in closed molds from 1,800°C to 1,600°C. The fractional composition of the initial press raw material influences physical and mechanical properties of WP-WB. Higher values of the plastic properties are obtained by using a 0.7 mm fraction, which is associated with an increased specific surface area of the particles compared to 1.3 mm particles. The results has showed that the samples obtained by using the catalyst have increase in strength properties (flexural strength, flexural modulus, hardness) at lower pressing temperature, but reduction of water resistance performance has been observed . This is explained by the increase in the content of functional groups when using a catalyst. The process of obtaining plastic can be broken down into two successive stages: the first is hydrothermal destruction of lignin-carbohydrate complex (initial moisture of the press raw material is 12%, the temperature of hot pressing in closed molds is 160 ... .180 ° C) and partial chemical activation of lignin as a result of hydrogen peroxide and catalyst application; the second stage - formation of plastic with the formation of a network structure due to the formed functional groups. It is established that the values of physical and mechanical properties of WP-WB are higher than those of plastic obtained on the basis of plant raw materials (PP-WB). This can be explained by the fact that lignin of coniferous species has the guaiacylpropane structure, while plant raw material has a hydroxyphenylpropane structure

To expand the raw material base of medicinal plant raw materials, a promising area of research is the study of additional types of raw materials that can be harvested from already used medicinal and food plants. Given the complexity of harvesting alder seeds, researchers are interested in the leaves of this plant, a wide range of biologically active substances that cause anti-inflammatory, astringent and antioxidant effects. The first stage of standardization of raw materials is the definition of morphologically significant features, based on the generalization of which the section "External features" is developed. The analysis of morphological features of freshly harvested, dried and frozen leaves of gray alder (Alnus incana Moench) and black alder (A. glutinosa Gaerth) harvested from wild plants in mixed forests of the Moscow region revealed diagnostically significant features and found that the method of conservation does not affect the occurrence of the identified features. Since it is planned to use both types of alder for the preparation of a new type of raw material "Alder leaves", a generalized formulation is proposed for raw materials that are a mixture of species.
