This chapter aims to reveal the efforts of teachers working in private and public schools to adapt into their career. It employs phenomenology, one of qualitative research designs. The study group was composed of 20 teachers working in high schools. Maximum variation sampling, which is a type of purposeful sampling, was used in this study. While teachers working in public schools found teaching restricted as a career, those working in private schools thought they had a more dynamic profession. It may be stated that teachers working in public schools and in private schools encounter different types of difficulties and that they have differing strategies to cope with the difficulties. A new career system, in which teachers could specialize in their careers and routines could be avoid, could be introduced in both public and private schools.

This study aims to examine how 5th and 6th grade students perceive the phenomenon of communication. It was designed as a qualitative research and the phenomenological method was used. Totally, 80 students constituted the study group. A two-part "Communication Perception Form" was created by the researchers in order to determine the perceptions of the students regarding the phenomenon of communication. Content analysis technique was used in evaluating the data obtained in this study. Data on the phenomenon of communication were gathered among five categories (nature, emotion, food, existence, tool/mediator). In the visual metaphors of the students, it was seen that they drew telephone and talking people mostly. The metaphors developed by the 5th and 6th graders, which are the first levels of secondary school, can be considered as important indicators for understanding the positive and negative effects of communication on students. In this study, where communication generally evokes speech or correspondence, it can be suggested that students acquire this skill in various fields through programs, since it is seen that students make more in-depth descriptions in visual expression.

The child's internal readiness consists of cognitive readiness and social emotional readiness. Although cognitive readiness has been possessed by majority children, but social emotional readiness has not been fully achieved, even though it seems less attention to its achievements. This condition should not be ignored, because the realization of optimal children's internal school readiness is a combination of cognitive readiness and emotional social readiness. In addition, family preparedness and readiness of school institutions must also be sought as a form of support for children, so that children's school readiness is expected to be fully achieved optimally.
