The purpose of this research is to re-conceptualize the theory of Islamic banking according to the Al-Quran and Hadith. This research needs to be carried out considering that the operational activities of Islamic banks, especially in Indonesia, have been heavily criticized by academic researchers because there have been several deviations from Islamic banking activities that are not in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law. The method used in this research is the method of documentation and reviewing secondary data in the form of theories regarding Islamic banking. The analysis technique used is descriptive. Where the development of Islamic banking literature will be explained in a complete and structured manner so that it will produce an in-depth explanation. The results showed that the theory of Islamic banking is shaped like a building where the foundation of Islamic banking is faith-based on the Al-Quran and Hadith and carries out the characteristics of the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam. After the foundation is in place, it can run the rules of Islamic banking based on sharia which consists of prohibition of all usury practices, prohibition of financing maysir and gharar businesses, financing of real assets, sharing of profits and risk of loss. If sharia has been implemented in sharia banking, a pure sharia bank will be realized so that it will get the blessing of Allah Ta'ala.

Compared to conventional banking, the distribution of Islamic banking financing is more optimal, growth is continuous and asset enhancement is very good. This is indicated by the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) which ranges between 94.88%. This means that a Sharia Bank is able to meet the targets and expectations of Bank Indonesia. Given the lack of Islamic banks and their limited assets, this optimization is certainly influenced by many factors, therefore it is necessary to test the factors that influence the distribution of Islamic banking financing, which includes Third Party Funds (DPK), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Bank Indonesia Syariah Certificate (SBIS). This study uses the Sharia Commercial Bank and the Sharia Business Unit as a whole as a unit of research object, with the research period from 2009-2019 (in the quarterly period). The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, while hypothesis testing uses the t-test to test the effect of variables partially, and the F-test to test the effect of variables simultaneously with a significance level of 5% or 0.05. Based on the research, it was found that Third Party Funds (TPF) had a positive and significant effect on the distribution of Islamic Banking financing. Non Performing Financing (NPF) has a positive and insignificant effect on the distribution of bank financing. While Sharia Bank Indonesia Certificates (SBIS) have a negative and significant effect on the distribution of bank financing.

The method of analysis of the data used is the analysis of the content on the messages received from mudharabah in Islamic law and its application in Islamic banks and the development of the Islamic economy. The fuqaha have agreed on the legality of mudharabah, and the evidence of legality, from the al-Qur’an, Sunnah, Ijma’, and Qiyas. The mudharabah formula in Islamic banks came as a legitimate alternative to traditional financing operations. It is one of the most important forms of Islamic finance and is thought to have been the cause of Islamic banks, which are said to be the Islamic financing formula. In Islamic banks, mudharabah is divided into absolute mudharabah and restricted mudharabah. The economic concept of mudharabah in the economic literature goes to the stock exchange and its predictions of market fluctuations. The investor may have to pay the price differentials in the case of lower prices.
