Automatic car parking obtains information about available parking space, process it and then place the car at certain position. It is inevitable for the people to update with the growing technology and generally people are facing problems on parking vehicles in parking slot in a city. The Automatic car parking which enables the user to find the nearest parking area and gives availability of parking slots in that respective parking area with the help of LCD display and it mainly focus on reducing the time in finding the parking slots and also it avoids the unnecessary travelling through filled parking slots in a parking area. Thus, it reduces the fuel consumption which in turn reduces carbon footprints in an atmosphere. Sometimes, it is very difficult to find a suitable parking place in parking lot. This research paper has proposed a suitable solution to this problem.

In this work an Engine Management System (EMS) using a low cost 8-bit microcontroller specifically for the cost sensitive small two-wheeler application was designed and developed. Only the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and the cam position sensor (also used for speed measurement) were used. A small capacity 125CC four stroke two-wheeler was converted into a Port Fuel Injected (PFI) engine and was coupled to a fully instrumented Eddy Current Dynamometer. Air-fuel ratio was controlled using the open loop, lookup-table [speed (N) and throttle (α)] based technique. Spark Time was controlled using a proportional / fuzzy logic based close loop control algorithm for the idle speed control to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Test results show a significant improvement in engine performance over the original carbureted engine, in terms of fuel consumption, emissions and idle speed fluctuations. The Proportional controller resulted in significantly lower speed fluctuations and HC / CO emissions than the fuzzy logic controller. Though the fuzzy logic controller resulted in low cycle by cycle variations than the original carbureted engine, it leads to significantly higher HC levels. The performance fuzzy logic can be improved by modifying the membership function shapes with more engine test data.

In this research paper, the impact of water pH on detergent was measured by constructing a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers (IFNs) by incorporating three linguistic inputs and one output as taken by Saeed. M. et al. [1]. The inference process was carried out using MATLAB fuzzy logic toolbox and the results were compared with FLC based on fuzzy numbers. The objective of the study was the comparison of FLC based on intuitionistic and fuzzy numbers. The results showed that FLC based on IFNs is approximately the same but has more precise values. So, IFNs based FLC can be used in the Instinctive Laundry System.

To overcome the deficiency of ultrasonic sensor and camera, this paper proposed a method of autonomous parking based on the self-driving car, using HDL-32E LiDAR. First the 3-D point cloud data was preprocessed. Then we calculated the minimum size of parking space according to the dynamic theories of vehicle. Second the rapidly-exploring random tree algorithm (RRT) algorithm was improved in two aspects based on the moving characteristic of autonomous car. And we calculated the parking path on the basis of the vehicle’s dynamics and collision constraints. Besides, we used the fuzzy logic controller to control the brake and accelerator in order to realize the stably of speed. At last the experiments were conducted in an autonomous car, and the results show that the proposed automatic parking system is feasible and effective.

Reducing fuel consumption and ensure occupants thermal comfort are two important considerations when designing a vehicle air conditioning system. By using direct current electric compressor, speed of compressor can be controlled by changing the frequency of the inverter. Fuzzy logic controller (FLC) was developed to imitate the performance of human expert operators by encoding their knowledge in the form of linguistic rules. The system is installed to a 5-door compact car with 1.2cc four-cylinder engine with data acquisition system to monitor the temperature of the cabin, coefficient of performance (COP) and fuel consumption. Temperature set-point of 22°C with original belt-driven, on/off and FLC electric direct current compressor at one hour experimental periods. The experimental results indicate that the FLC can save more fuel compared to on/off controller and belt-driven compressor.

As the development of the society and economy, more and more cars are used in the people life. Parking the car in a busy mall is often frustrated for us due to lack of the parking spaces. The problems mainly consist of two aspects. First, when we go to the destination, we do not know where the parking lot is and how many parking spaces is free. We have to spend a lot of time to find a parking lot. Besides, the parking lot usually is great, it is difficult for us to find the free space efficiently. Traditional solutions are implemented based on the TCP/IP networks or sensor network. TCP/IP solutions often require a lot on the infrastructure. Solutions with sensor network can not navigate the driver precisely. In this paper, we propose a novel parking management system with RFID and sensor networks, which can not only detect and locate the free parking space quickly, but also navigate the car to the parking space effectively. Our experiment shows that the proposed system is desirable for us to use in the life.

The present fuel cell technology is under considerations as a potential power source for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Fuel cells are an electrochemical power plant that takes hydrogen and oxygen as inputs and produces electricity, water and heat as outputs.  Most of the global hydrogen production is from non-renewable fossil fuels. Therefore, this paper investigates how to save hydrogen fuel consumption and operate at high efficiency in the fuel cell/battery hybrid system to power a small Aircraft. We achieved that by working on the power management of the fuel cell/battery hybrid propulsion system for small UAV by using the fuzzy logic controller and charging up the batteries. The hybrid propulsion system consists of a 1.2kW PEM fuel cell, three 12V batteries, DC/DC converters, and an electric engine. The fuzzy logic controls the batteries' output powers through the bidirectional DC/DC converter. It will help maintain the fuel cell operates at an optimal point with high efficiency as the main power supply for different flight phases to achieve the desired power.

In this paper a fuzzy power controller for a parallel hybrid passenger car is developed in order to minimize its fuel consumption and optimize its components efficiencies. This is done by controlling the engine operating points in its optimal region and maintaining the SoC of batteries and electric motor operating point at the highest possible efficiency. Of course the designed control strategy must be able to obey the driver’s commands and achieve the PNGV regulations. The controller implemented in this paper is a Mamdani fuzzy logic controller which takes the batteries SoC, electric motor’s speed, ICE speed and the total demanded torque as its input variables and gives the ICE torque as its output. This controller has been simulated using the ADvanced VehIcle SimulatOR (ADVISOR) and its results have been compared to the default fuel mode fuzzy controller of ADVISOR. Simulation results show considerable improvement in the efficiency of the ICE and consequently, fuel consumption and acceleration performances.

The Fuzzy logic is a promising method in Artificial Intelligence. This is extensively employed to manage factors in the surroundings. The influence of fuzzy logic is demonstrated by evidence of making of proposed intelligent systems based on fuzzy logic methods e.g. pressure cooker, refrigerator, washing machine and so on. The intention of proposed work is to design an e-nose capable of detecting the distinct smell generated by various chemical vapours. These sensors of gas were used in this scheme. These readings from sensors passed to a fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzification process is taken by Mamdani style. The outcome of the proposed scheme is displayed at LCD display and matched to the outcome of simulation done using Matlab.

This research article focuses on the theme of violence and its representation by the characters of the novel “This Savage Song” by Victoria Schwab. How violence is transmitted through genes to next generations and to what extent socio- psycho factors are involved in it, has also been discussed. Similarly, in what manner violent events and deeds by the parents affect the psychology of children and how it inculcates aggressive behaviour in their minds has been studied. What role is played by the parents in grooming the personality of children and ultimately their decisions to choose the right or wrong way has been argued. In the light of the theory of Judith Harris, this research paper highlights all the phenomena involved: How the social hierarchy controls the behaviour. In addition, the aggressive approach of the people in their lives has been analyzed in the light of the study of second theorist Thomas W Blume. As the novel is a unique representation of supernatural characters, the monsters, which are the products of some cruel deeds, this research paper brings out different dimensions of human sufferings with respect to these supernatural beings. Moreover, the researcher also discusses that, in what manner the curse of violence creates an inevitable vicious cycle of cruel monsters that makes the life of the characters turbulent and miserable.
