Kenya is one of those countries in the world suffering from the deadly Corona virus and its economy is greatly affected. There is therefore a need for the Kenyan government to put measures in place to break the chain of spreading the virus by enforcing nationwide curfew, boarder lockdown of the most affected counties and stay and work from home measures. The Ministry of health alongside its stakeholders had to quickly set up various mechanisms to counter the disease. The government took drastic steps to curb the spread of the pandemic by closing down learning institutions, entertainment joints, eateries and public gathering including funerals. Church services and weddings were temporarily banned too. This was to break the chain and reduce the spread of the virus and if possible completely eliminate the Covid-19 in the country. Due to the urgency of the matter, leaders needed to embrace new ways of doing things and have a vision clearly spelt and well understood approach. On the other hand, leaders in charge of communication needed to verify their facts and not be too quick to call for press conferences to ensure that channels of communications were open to all in order to avoid speculations that results in lack of trust if things are not done in a transparent way.

This chapter deals with European cross-border issues concerning groups of companies. This chapter, after outlining the difficulties encountered throughout the world in defining and regulating the group, focuses on the specific policy choices endorsed by the EIR, which clearly does not lay down any form of substantive consolidation. Instead, the EIR, on the one hand, seems to permit the ‘one group—one COMI’ rule, even to a limited extent, and, on the other hand, provides for two different regulatory devices of procedural consolidation, one based on the duties of ‘cooperation and communication’ and the other on a system of ‘coordination’ to be set up between the many proceedings affecting companies belonging to the same group.

In 1943, with the world still at war, a great discussion on the future of aeronautical education was held by the Royal Aeronautical Society. Not only would the war years, however many were still to come, demand more well-qualified aeronautical engineers, but the longed for peace years, with engineers turning swords into ploughshares, would want more. The discussion was in two parts. One took place on 25 June and the other on 23 July. Many of the leading figures in British aeronautics took part and in the chair on both occasions was Dr Roxbee Cox, a vice-president of the society. The discussion culminated in a resolution based on a proposal by Marcus Langley. That resolution and the discussion which led to it resulted in the recommendation by the Aeronautical Research Committee that a post-graduate college of aeronautical science should be established. This was followed by governmental action. Sir Stafford Cripps, then the minister responsible for aircraft production, set up a committee presided over by Sir Roy Fedden to make specific proposals, and the committee recommended in its 1944 report that such a college should be a new and independent establishment. In 1945 the government created the College of Aeronautics board of governors under the chairmanship of Air Chief Marshal Sir Edgar Ludlow-Hewitt to bring the college into existence and govern it. The first meeting of this board took place on 28 June 1945 and there were present: Sir Edgar Ludlow Hewitt, Dr W. Abbot, Mr Hugh Burroughs, Sir Roy Fedden, Mr J. Ferguson, Sir Harold Hartley, Sir William Hil-dred, Sir Melvill Jones, Dr E.B. Moullin, Mr J.D. North, Sir Frederick Handley Page, Mr E.F. Relf, Dr H. Roxbee Cox, Air Marshal Sir Ralph Sovley, Rear Admiral S.H. Troubridge and Mr W.E.P. Ward. Sir William Stanier, who had been appointed, was not present.

This chapter details events in 1973, when the issue for France and the world was whether revolution or counter-revolution should prevail. In every country where the government was at war with the French Republic in 1793—in Britain and Ireland, in the United Provinces and in Belgium restored to the Emperor, in the Austrian Monarchy, the small German states and the Prussian kingdom, in the Italian kingdom of Sardinia—there were groups of people whose sympathies lay in varying degree with the declared enemy. Wherever the French Revolution had been heard of there were men who wished it not to fail. Their concern was not only for France but for the future of some kind of democratization in their own countries. For those, on the other hand, who hoped to see the whole revolution undone, these first months of 1793 saw a revival of the exciting expectations of a year before. The Republic seemed a sinking ship, crazed, in addition, by mutiny in its own crew.

In 2020, mankind throughout the world will be shaken by the Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic which has greatly affected people's lives and caused a lot of panic. Hundreds or even thousands of humans have been infected and many have died due to the Covid-19 Virus. Because the Corona Virus (Covid-19) also makes the people of Tuwung village, Kahayan Tengah district, Pulang Pisau Regency, they are limited in carrying out daily routines such as worship, school, teaching, even hobby activities such as playing volleyball and others. Another problem that occurs is that some of the people of Tuwung village also lack discipline in carrying out health protocols such as crowding in many people, not wearing protective masks, still shaking hands, and others. In this case, Palangka Raya University students do not remain silent, starting from providing many appeals, education and assistance to the community in overcoming the Covid-19 outbreak, the people of Tuwung village are maintained and safe through the KKN-T Period II activities of Palangka Raya University. The Indonesian government implements a home system where Indonesians are required to be quiet and work in their own homes. And with this rule, the KKN-T Period II Students of Palangka Raya University carry out activities that apply the Work from Home system and still follow the applicable health protocols. The purpose of this activity is to provide an example and understanding for the Tuwung village community in order to comply with the applicable regulations in the country of Indonesia. So that through this activity it can help the government and medical personnel to break the chain of spreading the Corona Virus (Covid-19) in Indonesia. And with this activity it will also make the public more aware of the importance of implementing health protocols both in the red zone and in the green zone.

The topic of party finance is a subject about which not a word appears in any of the official reports and party conference records issued by the Christian Democratic Union in the course of the decade during which it has become established as West Germany's governing party. Like their colleagues in most middle class parties the world over, the leaders of the CDU apparently believe that silence is golden when it comes to answering Socialist taunts on this score. They are content to let the Socialists remain the only German party to publish reasonably full accounts of their sources of income, which, as the SPD does not fail to point out when attacking the “hidden masters” of the government parties, are predominantly derived from membership dues. The parties of the “Bonn coalition,” on the other hand, have been extremely distrustful of both publicity and legislation affecting this sector. In 1952 the first Adenanuer cabinet felt called upon to reject a draft Parties Law prepared by officials in the Interior Ministry, and since then the government has presented no bill to translate the Basic Law's Article 21, which regulates the parties' position, into the required legislation. Thus the constitutional provision that “parties must give public reckoning over the sources of their means” remains in practice a dead letter. Not that the sources of the non-Socialist parties' funds are really kept successfully secret, for every politically informed German knows roughly how the system works. But party officials still believe it best not to acknowledge their sources publicly. “The German Michel just wouldn't understand about those things,” as a CDU functionary put it.

Abstract: The increasingly fast and sophisticated changes in the communications and publication industry led readers to shift from print media to online news portal. This transition happens because online news is faster, convenient and easily accessible to all communities regardless of time. The Facebook, for instance, is used as an online news platform for communities to get news sources. Moreover, Facebook also has a "trending now" where communities can view current topics or issues instantaneously. The current issues now is about the COVID-19 outbreak that plagues the rest of the world. In this study, the researcher has selected several online news to be used as a reference published by media organisations related to the COVID-19 outbreak throughout January to March 2020. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis. The researchers has selected the Official Facebook portal of the Ministry of Health Malaysia and the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia to analyze the news about the outbreak. This study found that the posting frequency based on the three categories of steps, causes and infectional report increased from January to March 2020. On the other hand, the result also shows that both Facebook portals used keywords such as the number of cases of infections, recoveries and deaths due to COVID-19. It is hoped that this study will be a reference to the authority especially in terms of the importance of information dissemination in more structural manner so that it can be easily received by the readers.
