Teacher is always a key factor which determines training quality in general and vocational training quality of the Vocational Education System (VES) in particular. In face of strong influences from the fourth industrial revolution (IR 4.0), teacher is getting more important in training of human resources, especially qualification level and capacity to apply technology and innovate teaching methods. Based on the analysis for impacts of the IR 4.0 on VES, requirements for capacity of teachers and the reality on vocational education teachers (VETs) today, this article suggests some solutions to develop VETs to adapt to the IR 4.0 as a basis for development of teachers at vocational education institutions in Vietnam.

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a digital-based era that demands the quality of human resources (HR) who have high skills. The Education and Training Center (ETC) is one of the institutions that plays role in increasing the quality level of human resources. This study aims to see the effect simultaneously and partially between the competence of instructors and infrastructure on the quality of ETC graduates in the face of the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The population in this study consists of all ETCs in Indragiri Hulu, there are 15 ETCs and all ETCs were sampled. Multiple regression and correlation analysis using SPSS 22.0 was used to determine whether or not there is an influence and relationship between variables. The results of the study concluded (1) the competence of instructors and infrastructure simultaneously had a significant effect on the quality of graduates. (2) Instructor competence partially has a significant effect on the quality of graduates. (3) Facilities partially has a significant effect on the quality of graduates. The variable that has the greatest contribution to the quality of ETC graduates in Indragiri Hulu Regency is the competence of the instructor followed by infrastructure. In this case, of education it will be very difficult for ETC graduates to compete in the world of work. Because this is a factor caused from within the ETC itself.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyse the impact of digital transformation on jobs and to assess whether or not the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution will lead to mass redundancies. The piece also looks at the role human resources (HR) departments will have to play in the implementation of, and response to, digital transformation within the workplace. Design/methodology/approach This paper combines research based on media articles, a parliamentary report and wider digital transformation industry research. The author looks to explain what digital transformation is, deconstruct misconceptions around digital transformation, assess the true evidence-based impact of digital transformation on jobs and advise HR departments on the impact of digital transformation within the workplace. Findings This piece finds that there remains a considerable degree of misunderstanding and many misconceptions around digital transformation and that while digital transformation will lead to the loss of some jobs, it will also lead to the change of existing ones and creation of new ones. Furthermore, this piece finds that HR departments will play a crucial role in the implementation of digital transformation, but that they too will need to pivot and adjust to new workplace realities as a result. Originality/value Many HR departments face confusion and misconceptions around the impact of digital transformation on the workforce, and there also remains concern among many employers that technology will replace their jobs. This piece seeks to dispel the myths and paint a clearer picture to both HR departments and employees around the impact of digital transformation.

Unlike the traditional educational model with the way teachers lecture, students take notes making students feel boring and not very effective. STEAM education is a modern educational model that focuses on practice for students to discover and learn on their own. Therefore, it will inspire learning to students, sparking creativity and passion in children. Originating in the US, STEAM education has been interested in and researched for many years, in countries around the world. In the context of the industrial revolution 4.0, jobs and occupations in society related to STEAM education fields tend to increase. The overall goal of STEAM education is not only to create understanding of STEAM and the qualities of 21st century citizens, but also to develop human resources in STEAM fields such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Researching on STEAM education has been, and is being, interested by many educators, the research trend in this field will continue to be developed in the future not only in the world but also in the Vietnam. This article addresses the pros and cons of STEAM education, and was completed with support from survey results conducted at some International Primary School, Ho Chi Minh City. The article uses quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis as well as some results from previous studies, in order to clarify the issue of educating children to access scientific knowledge easily. The results show that we need to widely apply this method not only in primary schools but also in all primary schools in Vietnam in order to improve the quality of teaching, and to train human resources for 4.0 industries.

The paper is devoted to the comparative analysis of the essence of the concept of "competitiveness" in relation to human resources and other similar categories, identification of their advantages, disadvantages and scope in terms of digitalization of the economy and society. It was determined that in the context of digitalization it is expedient to apply the approach to studying the process of forming the competitive advantages of human resources, as allows to consider the competitive advantages in relation to all age groups and at all stages of forming and development of competitiveness. Today, such qualitative advantages as the ability of intensive using of the modern information and communication technologies, digital literacy, interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, focus on achieving the end result are becoming very important. The characteristics of the levels of forming of the competitiveness of human resources (personal, microeconomic, sectoral, territorial, macroeconomic and global) were given. The urgency of forming and development of global competitiveness of human resources in the conditions of modern realities was emphasized. It was emphasized that along with the traditional forms of employment on a permanent basis, temporary, remote, non-standard employment is becoming more widespread, providing greater freedom of choice for both employers and employees (the best performer or place of work). The directions of improving the competitiveness of human resources in the context of digital transformation of the economy lying in the plane of development of their personal and business qualities, improvement of measures of the state regulatory influence, maintenance of quality of workplaces, consideration of specifics and the features of employment with application of information and communication technologies were offered.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the readiness of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of education to face the industrial revolution 4.0. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach at SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga. In this study, the analysis unit was used, namely facilities and infrastructure, while the observation unit was the principal, deputy head of the facilities and infrastructure sector, and educators. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation using triangulation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out interactively with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Conclusions from the study: (1) the planning of facilities and infrastructure has been carried out well; (2) the procurement of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out properly, the priority scale is determined by the foundation not the school; (3) the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out optimally; (4) the elimination of facilities and infrastructure has never been carried out by schools, items that are no longer used are put into school warehouses; and (5) there are developments in facilities and infrastructure in the field of technology, while the human resources that are owned are still not professionally trained. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan sarana dan prasarana dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan untuk menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif di SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan unit analisis yaitu sarana prasarana, sedangkan yang menjadi unit pengamatan yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala bidang sarana dan prasarana, dan pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Simpulan dari penelitian: (1) perencanaan sarana dan prasarana sudah dilakukan dengan baik; (2) pengadaan sarana dan prasarana belum dilakukan dengan baik skala prioritas ditentukan oleh yayasan bukan pada sekolah; (3) pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana belum dilakukan secara optimal; (4) penghapusan sarana dan prasarana belum pernah dilakukan oleh sekolah barang yang sudah tidak digunakan dimasukkan kedalam gudang sekolah; dan (5) adanya perkembangan sarana dan prasarana dalam bidang teknologi, sedangkan sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki masih belum yang terlatih secara profesional.

Revolution industri 4.0 becomes opportunity and threat for a business. The opportunity in industri 4.0 gives opportunity Business Company to expantion. However that oppourtunty can be a traeat for campanies business because increase performance it is not supported. Human resources in these case employees play an active role in improving company performance. Improved company performance will not be achieved if it is not accompanied by an increase in the quality of company employees. POB is one of the methods in improving performance by optimizing the potential of employees with a positive-oriented psychological approach. The three industrial revolutions: mechanization, electrification and automation are important milestones marking great socio-economic development steps of mankind. Currently, along with the industrial revolution 4.0, "digital transformation" is the most mentioned keyword in the world of policy makers, the community of scientists and businesses, because it has been changing the socio-economic basis. In the process of digital transformation, many new problems have arisen in Vietnam, requiring research and answers, many challenges and challenges to socio-economic development in Vietnam. Implementing digital transformation in the fields of economy, health, education, contributes to improving the quality of life, however, digital transformation has not yet met the requirements of socio-economic development in Vietnam today, thereby building solutions to promote the digital transformation process in Vietnam in order to develop breakthroughs and quickly catch up with the development of the modern production force. The article analyzes and clarifies the current situation of digital transformation in Vietnam, thereby contributing to providing more scientific bases for the Vietnamese government's decisions to perfect the digital transformation policy to meet the requirements of development of the country in the new era.

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. this is where technology and technology have been very advanced demanding competent human resources who have high morale and discipline in carrying out their roles and functions for both the individual and the objectives of the organization. In the role and contribution of STTAL in the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the current conditions, where the quality of human resources both students, lecturers, and Antap STTAL are considered unable to answer the challenges in the cyber field so that strategic decision-making and steps are needed to be able to accompany the development of science and technology while carrying out missions STTAL is to hold a higher education program to produce human resources with Indonesian character and personality, quality and relevant science and technology based, with defense needs in the military, maritime and maritime fields.
