Direct Foreign Investment (FDI) has been considered as one of the important strategies in long-term economic development. FDI is seen not only as a capital transfer but also has an important effect on increasing the host economy. FDI then became popular in many countries, so it was interesting to analyze the effects produced, both positive and negative. This research focuses on countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) with the aim of conducting empirical studies on opportunities for employment creation by FDI. However, due to limited data in several countries, this study only involved Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. The type of data used in this study is annual data covering from 1980-2017. Using estimation Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) allows to see short-term and long-term effects. The test results prove that the influence between variables is more visible in the long run

Halal tourism is tourism that puts forward the values and norms of Islamic Sharia as a basic foundation. As a new concept in the tourism industry, halal tourism requires efforts and development strategies as well as a comprehensive understanding of how to accommodate Islamic values in tourism activities. This study aims to see how the perception of tourist visitors in the city of Padang, one of the National Priority Halal destinations. This research is a descriptive study with a survey method conducted on 100 respondents chosen randomly in Padang destinations and tourist attractions. The halal tourism dimension is adapted from indicators applied by the Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI)

This study aims to find the brand reputation value of Bank Bukopin. This research is a descriptive quantitative study using the Brand Talkable Favorability (BTF) method. This research was conducted by looking at Bukopin's bank mobile banking customer reviews until November 2019. The results showed that Bukopin Bank had a reputation of 0.24 or 24%. There are 4 factors that cause the reputation value to be low based on negative reviews namely Usage by 70%, Quality of mobile banking by 22% and Services and features by 4%

Revolution industri 4.0 becomes opportunity and threat for a business. The opportunity in industri 4.0 gives opportunity Business Company to expantion. However that oppourtunty can be a traeat for campanies business because increase performance it is not supported. Human resources in these case employees play an active role in improving company performance. Improved company performance will not be achieved if it is not accompanied by an increase in the quality of company employees. POB is one of the methods in improving performance by optimizing the potential of employees with a positive-oriented psychological approach. The demand forIslamic financing from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is important to be analyzed since they have a significant role in employment and the source of living for community. Quantitatively, the income and profits of MSMEs have a big impact on the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) where the MSMEs are located. They can be one of the drivers of the real sector of economy to improve the welfare of the community. The Islamic financing scheme is an alternative to strengthen the MSMEs and this is in line with the culture of the people of West Sumatra. This study aims to analyze the factors related to the demand for Islamic banking financing in helping micro, small and medium businesses to finance the capital expenditure in West Sumatra. The data used in this research is directly collected from the field. About 100 samples are chosen from 3,105 MSMEs that have already accessed capital financing from various Islamic Bank in West Sumatra. A crosstab analysis is used and tested using the Chi-Square method based on probability. One important finding of this study is that the bigger the size of capital financing, the bigger the probability of MSMEs to increase the income

This study aims to analyze the loyalty of Islamic bank customers in West Sumatra. The object of research is all Islamic banks operating in West Sumatra. The population of this study is all Islamic banking customers in the province of West Sumatra. The research sample is 200 Islamic bank customers. The technique used in sampling is a non probability sampling method using Convenience sampling. The level of customer loyalty can be seen from the level of brand loyalty. In general, customer loyalty to Islamic banks in West Sumatra is very good or loyal. This can be seen from the value of the possibility of brand transfer (ProT) of Islamic banks in West Sumatra is (25.5%) and the Atrition Rate is (3%), these results indicate the percentage of a customer moving to another company, which is obtained from the reduction in the value of ProT with a percentage of non-loyal values

This paper examines the implementation of Syariah Acconting with murabah and mudharabah financing model at 81 KJKS-BMT, City of Padang. KJKS-BMT is an microfinance firms that is based on syariah rules. This research employs qualitative research method using interview with managers of KJKS-BMT and studying accounting documents. The main objective of the study is to describe and undertand how syariah acconting has been practiced at those islamic micro finance institutions. The results of this study shows that there is no KJKS-BMT that fully implement Syariah accounting for murabahah and mudharabah financing. However, this study found that 30 percent of KJKS-BMT has implemented it with 75% of level of implementation, 30% has implemented it with 50% of level of implementation. The remain, 40% of KJKS-BMT has just implemented it with less than 50% of level of implementation. In addition, majority of islamic microfinance organizations in Padang provide 80 percent murabahah financing and 20 percent mudharabah financing. This research suggests that capacity building is badly needed for KJKS-BMT to increase the quality of financial reporting and decision making process at KJKS-BMT

This study aimed to determine the direct effect between customer perceived value (CPV), trust towards satisfaction on customer of sharia banks in Jambi province. Thedevelopment of Sharia banking in Jambi is quite slow compared to other provinces in SumatraIsland. This research was conducted in Jambi Province. The design of this study used a quantitative method with a survey approach to obtain primary data, namely by distributing questionnaires to 140 customers in six Sharia commercial banks in Jambi province by using purposive sampling method in determining the sample. Determination of the minimum sample size in this study refers to the statement of Hair et al. Then the quantitative data was processed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS 3 software. The findings of this study found that an exogenous latent variable Customer Perceived Value affects customer trust and satisfaction. This research was expected to make practical contributions to the management of Sharia banks and related parties as information to determine the marketing strategy of Sharia bank products in Jambi province, in effort to increase customer satisfaction of sharia banks in Jambi province

Household business is a micro unit that continues to grow every year which affects the economy in the city of Solok. This study examines how the level of household welfare is a household business actor in Solok City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. This study uses primary data that is disseminated through questionnaires and deep interviews to domestic business actors and related stakeholders in the city of Solok. An analytical tool used with an objective and subjective approach and using SWOT. Study sample with 100 respondents. The results of research with objective and subjective approaches are already prosperous. The income of household entrepreneurs is 78%, above the provincial minimum wage. Household welfare of household entrepreneurs is also influenced by non-material variables. As well as from the results of the SWOT analysis it produced a strategy and policy direction that could be suggested to the government to improve the household welfare of household entrepreneurs in Solok City

This research aimed to examine the effect of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) on financial performance. ICSR was measured by finance and investment, product and service, employees, society, environment and corporate governance. Then, financial performance was measured by ROA and ROE. This study used 17 firms as a sample is consistently listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during 2014-2017. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling. Analysis of data in this study used Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3rd version. The result showed that ICSR had able to improve financial performance
