ABSTRACTThe problem of this research is about improving the quality of education output which is reflected in the achievements of the students, is the expectation of all schools starting from the principal and also teachers who teach as well as both parents, but in reality there are still many students who actually have achievements but not yet seen or even do not know the achievements in themselves, so they can and have the achievements as expected. The problem in this study is limited around the principal's leadership and teacher performance, as well as the achievement of the students themselves.The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. This research is correlational because this study seeks to investigate the effect of school principal leadership and teacher performance on student achievement.The results showed that (1) there was a positive influence between the principals' leadership variables on the achievement of students obtained the value of the analysis of 2.464 so that the positive results were concluded, the level of strong influence. (2) there is a positive influence between teacher performance on student achievement obtained value of 2.868 so that concluded positive results, the level of influence is strong. (3) simultaneously the leadership of the school principal and the performance of the teacher have a very significant effect on the achievement of students in MA NurulFurqon, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency.keywords of Education, Leadership, school, teacher, achievement

This chapter discusses the idea of leadership especially at schools from the Islamic perspective. It also highlights some strategies to become an effective principal who can lead effectively and be emulated by all school members. In every movement, word, and action, a good principal should uphold Islamic values which have been modelled by the Rasulullah SAW through his teachings and Sunnah. A good principal should have positive influence to all school members by encouraging them to move together developing the school. The roles of a school principal as a leader are very important especially in helping the school members improving the quality of education and shaping the religious characters of the school community. An effective principal is not only playing the roles of a successful teacher that can be emulated by others, but also as a leader who is respected for his leadership and good behaviours.

This study aims to analyze and find out the implementation of principals 'leadership through school quality with the long-term goal of improving the quality of schools through principals' leadership. The specific target of this research is to develop a principal's leadership model. The research method uses a qualitative approach through case studies through observation, interviews, document studies relating to the principal's leadership and school quality. The general conclusion is that improving school quality is a process towards the realization of quality schools. Principal's leadership in strengthening school quality can be found in (1) Improving school quality (2) Principal's leadership strategy in improving school quality.

Teacher performance development is an effort aimed at helping and serving the knowledge, skills, attitudes, discipline, and quality of teachers in meeting the needs and welfare of teachers, so they have the will and ability to innovate, and always try to improve their performance to improve teaching and learning and achieving educational success. One of the activities to support the development of school teacher performance is academic supervision by the school principal. Academic supervision of the principal is an activity or a coaching process so that it can help the teacher to carry out activities in learning activities and administrative activities carried out by the teacher, thus making it run effectively. Achieve learning objectives. The purpose of this research is to find out how the school's academic supervision activities are carried out and to observe the improvement of teacher performance in SDN Madulang III Omben Sampang. This research was conducted at SDN Madulang III Omben Sampang using qualitative methods. The data collection techniques in this research were through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that through several activities and training carried out regularly by the school, the academic supervision activities of the principal of SDN Madulang III Omben Sampang School had succeeded in promoting teacher performance. Also, the establishment of cooperation and communication between teachers and school principals is to support effective teacher training activities.

The role of the principal in implementing the quality management of learners is the activity of the principal responsible for the implementation of education, the school principal must be able to manage the management process from the planning, implementation, and to the evaluation stage of the outcome of learning, to achieve the success of the organization or institutions in achieving objectives and various objectives and ability to face various challenges, both external and , practices in the field, this can affect the performance of teachers in carrying out their duties in teaching and learners who receive the lesson, so that it can achieve the quality of education. The type of research used is field research, i.e. research that includes the facts and problems that exist in the field, with the method of research used is the descriptive qualitative research in SMK Darul Maghfiroh SInar Rejeki, District Jati Agung, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, with the technique of collecting data in this research include: observation, interviews, documentation, while the validity test of data is done with the triangulation technique, during the research is analysts , data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions. The role of the principal in the implementation of quality management by carrying out its duties precisely is planning, organizing activities, directing activities, implementing supervision, and implementing management management and organizing the school relationship with the community and other Instasi. The principal is the control holder in his school so that in organizing and implementing it all the headmaster can not do it alone, the principal should be able to invite and give a positive influence so that teachers and students can cooperate wholeheartedly, with such a purpose the school will be easier to achieve.

This study examines the optimization of teacher performance by measuring the effect of teacher competence and principal leadership on economic teacher performance. The method used is survey method and total sampling. The research subjects consisted of 55 high school economics teachers in the city of Tasikmalaya. Conclusion, teacher competence and principal leadership have a positive influence on teacher performance where the higher the teacher competence and the more effective the principal's leadership, it will improve the quality of teacher performance. The vision of education leads to improving the quality of education that will ultimately improve student learning outcomes. The quality of education has certainly been influenced by many components. This research is aimed to examine the effectiveness of headmaster supervision towards the teacher performance at Girsip State High School 1, Simalungun and the influence of supervision itself towards the teacher performance. This research is the "ex post facto research, its subject is the teacher of Girsip Simalungun District State High School 1, with the total number of 31 people. The collecting data technique used the questionnaire and the descriptive and quantitative data analysis. Furthermore, the presentation of data uses a tabulation technique or percentage of answers from all respondents. The result of this study has shown: (1) the implementation of school principal supervision includes preparation, methods and instruments, determination of evaluation procedures and application of follow-up evaluation results, which are in the "good" category in cycle I and in the "very good" category in cycle II. (2) the teacher performance which includes the preparation of lesson plans, learning processes, evaluating learning outcomes, and evaluating learning accuracy are in the "good" category in cycle I and in the "very good" category in cycle II. (3) the implementation of supervision of school principals contributed the average efficiency on teacher performance by 85.44% in cycle I and 95.63% in cycle II.

The purpose of this study is about the communication management of school principals to improve teacher performance at an elementary school Banda Aceh. The research method used is qualitative analysis (non-statistical) according to the aims and objectives of education research. This research is intended to develop the effectiveness of the products used in schools regarding decision making by school principals and to improve teacher performance which is expected to improve the quality of education. The results showed that Principal communication improves teacher professionalism, conveys messages to teachers, and can carry out this information. The principal as a teacher must guide all school members and carry out their duties and functions as school managers in improving the learning process through classroom supervision, fostering, and providing positive suggestions to teachers.

<p><span>This study aimed to see whether there is an influence of school principal leadership, organizational culture, and teacher competence on teacher performance. Another aim was to see how much influence these factors have on teacher performance either partially or simultaneously. The research used a quantitative approach with survey methods. Analysis of the data used was multiple regression. Participants involved in the study were 385 teachers in Bandung high school by using proportional stratified random sampling. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence on the school principal leadership variables, organizational culture, and teacher competence on teacher performance. Statistically the amount of contribution from all independent variables was 68.12%, so the remaining 32.88% was determined by other variables not measured in the study. This research was also useful to find out the factors that can improve teacher performance, so that it is expected to be a theoretical or practical consideration in schools in order to improve the quality of teachers and schools.</span></p>

Teacher performance plays an important role in improving the quality of the learning process in an effort to improve the quality of education, especially at the Yabis Bontang educational institution. To achieve optimal learning, teacher work motivation should be high to be able to bring up better teacher performance, so that it can produce quality students and can continue school to a higher level. The research was conducted to examine and find out how much influence teacher work motivation on teacher performance in schools in the Yabis Education Institute, from kindergarten, elementary, junior high and high school units. The method used in this research is ex post facto. To obtain the desired data in the field, this study used a questionnaire compiled using several indicators. The data needed in this study are data on teacher work motivation (X), and teacher performance (Y). Based on the results of data processing and analysis, the following conclusions were obtained; 1)There is a positive influence between work motivation on teacher performance at the Yabis Al-ikhlas Bontang Education Foundation during the Covid 19 pandemic. and 2) Work motivation contributes 44% to teacher performance at the Yabis Bontang Foundation.
