The success of any learning objective is measured from the students’ learning outcomes, which could be influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors capable of affecting students’ learning outcomes include naturalistic intelligence and learning interest. Hence, the purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between naturalistic intelligence and learning interest, with biology learning outcomes of students in Luwuk City. This was an ex post facto study with a research population of eleventh grade students of Mathematics and Natural Sciences High School in Luwuk City in the 2019/2020 academic year. A proportional random sampling method was used to select 235 out of the 566 students of the grade, as the research subjects. The data collection techniques employed include online questionnaires and documentation, while the analysis techniques used were descriptive and inferential statistics. Based on the results, there was a very low relationship between naturalistic intelligence and biology learning outcomes, there was a low relationship between learning interest with biology learning outcomes, as well as between naturalistic intelligence and learning interest with biology learning outcomes of high school students in Luwuk City.

The aims of this research are to determine the effect of principls’ managerial skills on the quality of education, to know the effect of teacher performance on education quality, and to know the influence of principals’ managerial skills and teacher performance on the quality of education. This research is quantitative with ex-post facto by descriptive-quantitatif characteristic. The population are 67 people with saturated sampling technique. Data processing begins with a validity test and reliability test of the research instrument is obtained using SPSS. The analisys of prerequisite test included normality, homogeneity test and linierity test. The final analysis (hypothesis testing) using statistical multiple regression analysis Y=α + βX1 + βX2 as a predictor in determining the magnitude of fungsional relationship between variables X1 and X2 with variable Y. Hyphothesis test using SPSS program assistance. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the influence of principals’ managerial skills and teacher performance on education quality is 36.2%. It means that 36.2% of principals’ managerial skill (X1) and teacher’s performance (X2) influence the education quality variable (Y) through a linier relationship Y=29.480+0.058+0.475. therefore there is influence of principals’ managerial skills and teacher’s performance on the quality of education at MTs Negeri Palopo.

In education word one of a serious problem is a high to low student learning outcomes. Good learning outcomes will be achieved when students have the self-efficacy and learning independence in overcoming learning difficulties which affect them. This research aims to find out and analyze the influence of self-efficacy and learning independence against the outcomes of the study of biology students. The research method used is ex pose facto 2x2 factorial design. The sample of this research is the grade X with number of 74 students. The instruments in this research are self-efficacy questioner, learning independence questioner and the outcomes study quesioner. Prerequisites testing conducted distributed normal data using Kolmogorov Smirnov and homogenous test using Bartlet test. Based on hypothesis testing, it was concluded that there is no influence of self-efficacy and learning independence against the outcomes of the study and there is influence between learning independence on student learning outcomes at Senior High School in Bekasi.

Keywords: self-efficacy, learning independence, student learning outcomes, ex post facto
