The article justifies for the need to identify and to keep track, in practice, of different groups of risks inherent in educational institutions under current conditions of pandemic and post-pandemic transformation of education under the influence of modern world uncertainty. Transformation of education functions in the epoch of digital economy changes the content and types of risks concomitant to the activities carried out by schools. Schools belong to the most conservative types of organizations. However, the environment in which schools operate is constantly changing. An educational institution, as any enterprise, has to engage in the activity aimed at risk management. Manifestation of the risk is, on the one hand, fraught with threats and damage, on the other hand, with opportunities. Assessment of possible threats and risks allows timely projection of undesirable results, creation of a system for situational response to unforeseen circumstances and, in the final analysis, formulation of a strategy for development of the university which would allow achievement of modern high quality education, its fundamentality and conformity to important topical requirements of the personality, society and state. Causes of developing risks characteristic of educational institutions are disclosed. External and internal risks characteristic of educational institutions, sources generating them and the importance of managing them are analyzed. The analysis of risks made reveals multi-varied threats and opportunities in the external and internal envi-ronment of the institution and their ability to have a significant effect on educational, organizational and financial activities of the schools.

The transition of Russia to a digital society actualizes the issues of the formation of universal competencies that are in demand in the professions of the future. The article presents the content of supra-professional competencies that allow performing professional tasks at a high level in the context of the digital transformation of the economy. For the formation of meta-competencies, it is necessary to use the resources of the digital educational environment, online tools that provide not only high-quality access to modern knowledge, but change the ways of thinking, which form the ability to interact with a society through the use of information and communication technologies.

Competency level test (UTK) is a specific level competency test conducted by an education unit using a Government standard table of specifications. This is an extra task for the education unit, adding load to an already fully-load unit. Without special attention, it is possible that UTK is merely just a label, and just for routine. For vocational high schools, UTK is carried out through the National Examination which is also the final level of competency test. UTK optimization is an all-out effort to make the UTK instruments and its implementation have high quality standards. This will ensure that the graduates’ qualifications meet the standards and the students also have required soft skills. Efforts in producing high quality UTK test questions are done by tightening of content validity, predictive validity, and the reliability of UTK test questions. The method is called the ICC interrater and Cohen Kappa. The optimization of UTK is able to improve soft skills because the students are encouraged to meet the competency standards of hard work, tenacity, earnest, hard work, responsibility and punctuality.Uji tingkat kompetensi merupakan uji kompetensi pada tingkat tertentu yang dilakukan oleh satuan pendidikan dengan menggunakan kisi-kisi yang disusun oleh Pemerintah. Kegiatan ini menambah tugas bagi satuan pendidikan, sehingga beban sekolah terlalu besar. Apabila tidak ada perhatian khusus, tidak menutup kemungkinan UTK hanya sekedar label, bahkan asal jalan. Untuk SMK, UTK dilakukan melalui UN yang berarti juga merupakan uji kompetensi akhir jenjang. Optimalisasi UTK adalah usaha keras agar instrumen dan pelaksanaan UTK berkualitas tinggi sehingga kualifikasi lulusannya kompetensi pengetahuan dan keterampilan sesuai standar yang telah ditentukan dan memiliki soft skill. Upaya untuk menghasilkan soal UTK yang berkualitas tinggi dilakukan dengan cara memperketat validitas isi, validitas prediktif, dan memperketat reliabilitas soal UTK. Metode yang digunakan yaitu interrater ICC dan Cohen Kappa. Optimalisasi TUK mampu meningkatkan softskill karena siswa didorong lulus sesuai standar kompetensi sehingga siswa didorong lebih ulet, sungguh-sungguh, kerja keras, tanggung jawab dan menghargai waktu.

The article examines modern ideas about the nature of pedagogical activity, providing a critical analysis of the state of practice and scientific research on the problems of pedagogical education and reconstructing a set of methodological ideas, concepts and schemes related to ideas about the content and forms of pedagogical education. The authors present approaches to solving such problems as the modern understanding of the essence of pedagogical activity and the trends of its transformation in connection with the changed educational space, new functions of the teacher in the digital educational environment; crisis phenomena in pedagogical education and ways to overcome them. In this vein, the authors consider the concept of pedagogical education, substantiating its goals, content options and psychological mechanisms for mastering pedagogical activity. The proposed model of the process of professional socialization of teachers reveals the content, technologies and criteria for their effective professional training, dialectics of psychological, pedagogical and subject components in the structure of professional competence. Consideration is also given to the environment of a pedagogical university as a source of development of pedagogical experience and personal and professional qualities of teachers. The article may be of interest to researchers and organizers in the field of pedagogical education.

This report from the field describes some of the author’s methods of audience engagement as a means of social engagement, discussing the implications for practice. The report invites dialogue with the reader about the usefulness of audience engagement and ways it can be manifested before, during and after performance. Theatre is a vibrant and valuable tool for sparking dialogue and inspiring action around challenging social topics. Audiences who are engaged in the process of the performance beyond the standard role of passive spectator are more likely to be motivated to deliverable endeavors post performance. This report from the field offers four brief case studies as examples of audience engagement and includes pragmatic techniques for using theatre as a vehicle for personal and social change through audience engagement. It explores how artists can galvanize and empower audiences by creating experiential communities pre, during, and post-show. Drawing upon examples from high-quality international theatre projects written and directed by the author, the essay investigates and describes the work of The H.E.A.T. Collective including My Heart is in the East (U.S., U.K. and Europe), The FEAR Project (produced in the US, India and Czech Republic), Emma Goldman Day (U.S.).

Abstract Pulp and paper products in the modern world are used in a variety of types and areas, due to which the issue of improving paper production technologies is relevant. The article presents the results of grinding fibrous semi-finished products using the knife method. A disc mill with an original knife set was used as the unit under study. For the most effective modes of grinding were selected to obtain raw materials with high quality indicators.

The relevance of the problem stated in the article is due to the fact that the role and functions of higher education institutions is fundamentally changing nowadays. It happens thanks to breakthrough IT solutions in various areas of human life, the development of online learning technologies, and the increased need for fast and highly specialized education. This is primarily due to the demands of the time – the transformation of the modern world economy towards digitalization. The purpose of the work was to obtain objective information about the effectiveness of the use of innovative forms in the educational process of higher education. The implementation of the priority project in the field of education "Modern digital educational environment in the Russian Federation" allowed us to deploy a national Internet platform with the possibility of integrating mass open online courses (MOOCs) into the educational process. This approach has opened up new opportunities for universities to implement online educational programs and use Internet technologies to form individual educational trajectories of students. A priori, the high quality of moocs was declared and, as a result, the high quality of students educational results. However, there were no separate studies on the quality of students' competence formation. The article considers models for organizing the educational process in higher education using mass open online courses, describes the experience of the Bashkir state pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla as a specialized pedagogical university, considers private methods for online and offline training in the higher education system, and presents experimental data on the introduction of online lectures as an element of MOOCs in the educational process of a pedagogical university. The authors as well studied the students' opinions about new forms of education.
