This project makes use of calculus, specifically integration, to find the exact area of a roof garden to minimize the cost of material used in flooring it. Since the roof is of irregular shape, it is divided into four sections, the integral of each section is taken, and a relationship between the integrals is generated. Positive results are found, and the data reveal that the area of the grass floor is 175.3 m2 while the area of the wooden floor is 23.4 m2 with the total price being 2472 US dollars.

AbstractStreptococcus agalactiae (S. agalactiae) is an important pathogen that can lead to neonatus and mother infection. The current existing techniques for the identification of S. agalactiae are limited by accuracy, speed and high-cost. Therefore, a new multiple cross displacement amplification (MCDA) assay was developed for test of the target pathogen immediately from vaginal and rectal swabs. MCDA primers screening were conducted targeting S. agalactiae pcsB gene, and one set of MCDA primers with better rapidity and efficiency was selected for establishing the S. agalactiae-MCDA assay. As a result, the MCDA method could be completed at a constant temperature of 61 °C, without the requirement of special equipment. The detection limit is 250 fg (31.5 copies) per reaction, all S. agalactiae strains displayed positive results, but not for non-S. agalactiae strains. The visual MCDA assay detected 16 positive samples from 200 clinical specimen, which were also detected positive by enrichment/qPCR. While the CHROMagar culture detected 6 positive samples. Thus, the MCDA assay is prefer to enrichment/qPCR and culture for detecting S. agalactiae from clinical specimen. Particularly, the whole test of MCDA takes about 63.1 min, including sample collection (3 min), DNA preparation (15 min), MCDA reaction (45 min) and result reporting (6 s). In addition, the cost was very economic, with only US$ 4.9. These results indicated that our S. agalaciae-MCDA assay is a rapid, sensitive and cost-efficient technique for target pathogen detection, and is more suitable than conventional assays for an urgent detection, especially for 'on-site' laboratories and resource-constrained settings.

В настоящее время информация о состоянии атмосферы широко используется как при составлении прогнозов погоды, так и при решении многих экономических задач. Существенная особенность метеорологических явлений - их пространственно-временная изменчивость. Это вызывает необходимость такой организации наблюдений, которая позволит своевременно отметить возникновение явления и проследить за ходом его развития. Статистика показывает, что в период с 1997 по 2000 годы произошло порядка 193 авиационных инцидентoв, которые обусловлены недостатками метеорологического обеспечения полетов. Поэтому задача повышения качества метеорологического обеспечения является актуальной. На основе модельных и практических экспериментов показано, что беспроводной канал связи LoRaWaN способен объединить весь поток данных, поступающих с удаленных метеорологических датчиков, которые используют разные протоколы для взаимодействия друг с другом. В ходе выполнения эксперимента получены положительные результаты, доказывающие возможность организации таких каналов связи для задач метеообеспечения аэродромов. Также приводится структурная схема для организации канала связи. При этом не требуется прокладка кабельных коммуникаций связи, когда стоимость такого вида работ, включая согласование, зачастую значительно превышает стоимость самого метеорологического оборудования At present, information on the state of the atmosphere is widely used both in the preparation of weather forecasts and in solving many economic problems. An essential feature of meteorological phenomena is their spatial and temporal variability. This makes it necessary to organize observations in such a way that will allow timely noting the occurrence of the phenomenon and monitoring the progress of its development. Statistics show that in the period from 1997 to 2000 there were about 193 aviation incidents, which were caused by shortcomings in the meteorological support of flights. Therefore, the task of improving the quality of meteorological support is urgent. This article shows, based on model and practical experiments, that the LaRaWAN wireless communication channel is able to combine the entire data stream coming from remote meteorological sensors using various communication protocols among themselves. During the experiment, I obtained positive results, proving the possibility of organizing such communication channels for the tasks of meteorological support of airfields. A block diagram for the organization of a communication channel is also provided. At the same time, the laying of cable communications is not required, when the cost of this type of work, including coordination, often significantly exceeds the cost of the meteorological equipment itself

Due to destructive environmental effects of construction wastes and increasing amount of these wastes that are in conflict with sustainable development objectives, it is essential to adopt solutions in order to reduce such wastes regarding environment preservation. This study was conducted to examine impact of financial incentives on reducing construction wastes using pairwise comparisons. According to professional opinions and experience of experts in building industry based on the 7-point Likert scale, mean responses obtained to 4.93, 4.83, and 4.73 for waste materials (stone, tile, ceramic), ready mix concrete waste, and EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) waste, respectively. On the other hand, reliability of research instrument obtained at 0.77 using Cronbach’s alpha test. Moreover, it is seen that the studied materials in this research assigned 41% contribution of constructing costs to themselves; of them, fittings and tiles, ceramics and stone assigned the highest constructing cost to themselves with 12%contribution. In fact, waste of materials in projects under the “total price” contract 30-50% higher than projects under the “cost plus” contract. Increasing number of floors and area of construction project lead to average reduction in waste of materials from 4.4% to 1.4%. Change in regional price of housing will changes materials used in construction based on different prices.

The issues of optimizing regional pricing are especially acute for the Kaliningrad Region due to its exclave features. At the same time, the cost of energy resources has become one of the main issues in making managerial decisions. Recently, the so-called Technoparks have become one of the new forms of organizing the production process in a certain branch of industry, or a process that is at the junction of several branches. There are a variety of descriptions of the indisputable advantages of this work format for a specific technological process, however, the possibilities in the field of reducing the costs of consumed energy resources that arise with such a local siting of production are not discussed that often. According to the authors of the article, based on the structure of the tariff, it is possible to classify methods of reducing the cost price by the impact on the components of the final cost of energy supply services. It should be noted that the classification sign of saving methods will be precisely the component of the tariff, while the methods themselves can be aimed both at reducing the price expression of each component of the tariff and at the volume of services for this component. The authors have also identified regional features of the pricing processes in the energy industry.

Целью исследования являлось теоретическое обоснование и практическая реализация нового способа полива гидромелиоративной машиной Фрегат с гидроприводом на сложном рельефе с минимальными затратами на модернизацию и энергозатратами. Объектом исследования является экспериментальный кранзадатчик скорости, устанавливаемый на гидромелиоративную машину. Исследования проводились в сравнении с показателями машин серийного производства. В ходе исследования было установлено, что существующая технология полива не отвечает необходимым требованиям гидромелиорации и имеет низкую степень экономической эффективности. Предлагаемая технология полива решает вопрос неравномерного распределения влаги по площади, повышает урожайность и снижает стоимость обслуживания машины вследствие уменьшения числа поломок. Имеющиеся модернизации дождевальной машины (ДМ) Фрегат , позволяющие работать по предлагаемой технологии, сложны по конструкции, ненадежны и имеют относительно высокую стоимость модернизации и сезонного обслуживания. С целью увеличения экономии средств и упрощения процесса модернизации серийных машин был разработан и протестирован кранзадатчик скорости, позволяющий снизить риск эрозии почв, застревания колес тележек и, тем самым, простой машины с необходимостью ее ремонта. Главной особенностью экспериментального краназадатчика скорости является его горизонтальное расположение относительно тележки. Два плеча с увеличенной длиной позволяют задавать поливную норму путем касания вех в начале каждого сектора, где необходимо сменить скорость движения машины. Таким образом, происходит регулирование поливной нормы, выдаваемой машиной при ее движении по орошаемой площади. Получившийся экономический эффект позволяет утверждать о положительных результатах в проведенных исследованияхThe aim of the research is the theoretical justification and practical implementation of the new method of irrigation irrigation and drainage machines Frigat with hydraulic drive for complex tasks of modernization and energy consumption. DM Frigat, which allows you to work on the proposed technologies, does not require the cost of modernization and seasonal maintenance. In order to increase cost savings and develop new models of machines, a speed control crane has been developed and tested to reduce the risk of machine destruction. The operation of the trolley is the horizontal arrangement of the trolley. The speed of the machine can be increased. Thus, regulation of the irrigation rate occurs. The resulting economic effect allows us to argue about the positive results in the studies

Let [Formula: see text] be an instance of the stable marriage problem in which every vertex ranks its neighbors in a strict order of preference. A matching [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text] is popular if [Formula: see text] does not lose a head-to-head election against any matching. Popular matchings generalize stable matchings. Unfortunately, when there are edge costs, to find or even approximate up to any factor a popular matching of minimum cost is NP-hard. Let [Formula: see text] be the cost of a min-cost popular matching. Our goal is to efficiently compute a matching of cost at most [Formula: see text] by paying the price of mildly relaxing popularity. Our main positive results are two bicriteria algorithms that find in polynomial time a “quasi-popular” matching of cost at most [Formula: see text]. Moreover, one of the algorithms finds a quasi-popular matching of cost at most that of a min-cost popular fractional matching, which could be much smaller than [Formula: see text]. Key to the other algorithm is a polynomial-size extended formulation for an integral polytope sandwiched between the popular and quasi-popular matching polytopes. We complement these results by showing that it is NP-hard to find a quasi-popular matching of minimum cost and that both the popular and quasi-popular matching polytopes have near-exponential extension complexity.

The purpose of this study is to determine if aquaponic systems can reduce food insecurity in the semi-arid regions of Brazil and generate income for the beneficiaries. Aquaponics is a potentially sustainable way to produce food based on gardening, hydroponics and aquaculture. A case study, based on a project called Aquaponova, was developed. The aquaponic systems currently used in the project are non-commercial and designed for households with limited resources. The data based on six existing systems within this project were used to compare the costs and the benefits. The cost–benefit analysis covers four scenarios and three financing options. The results show that aquaponic systems have a large potential and can reduce food insecurity in semi-arid regions while generating income for the beneficiaries. Even if the system only produces 40% of the total estimated production, the system will still be feasible. However, the low opportunity cost of labour is an essential factor for obtaining these positive results. Moreover, the social benefits, such as a community spirit and the health benefits of the system, should not be underestimated.

The main purpose of the academic paper is to analyze the dynamics of microfinance services and assess their impact on the entrepreneurial activity of small and medium-sized enterprises and the consequences for the population. Methods of generalization, analysis, comparison, correlation and regression analysis have been used in order to achieve the purpose outlined. The academic paper considers the impact of microfinance services on the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the form of net profit. The results have showed that the impact of the cost of microfinance services on the development of financial activities of small and medium-sized businesses have a positive result, and, when using the proposed regression equation, the company will receive positive results in 2020-2024. The conducted correlation analysis of the impact of microfinance services on the level of the average salary of the population of Ukraine has revealed a high level of dependence of citizens on loans obtained. This is confirmed by the high correlation coefficient.

The existence of buildings has an important role in human life according to the purpose of the building. The purpose of this study is to estimate the cost of maintenance and care at the Pekanbaru Customs and Excise Service Office based on PERMEN NO.24 / PRT / M / 2008. It is expected that with this system, maintenance and maintenance activities will be in accordance with applicable standards and retain the use and value of the building. Regulation of the Minister of Public Works Number: 24 / PRT / M / 2008 concerning guidelines for building maintenance and maintenance, building maintenance This research was conducted using the Approximate Estimate method using the highest average unit price per m² of storey buildings for buildings accurate building as a guideline.he results of the calculation of this study found the estimated cost estimate of rough estimate (approximate estimate) of Rp. 16.156.679,93, - when compared with the calculation of the building price of Rp. 11.483.051,200 - the percentage of costs for maintenance of buildings in Pekanbaru Customs Service Office is only 0,1407% of the total price of the building, so that it can be categorized in the level of minor damage (<35%). Current diagnosis approaches for COVID-19 include nucleic acid detection, chest CT, epidemiological history and clinical manifestations [8-10]. However, nucleic acid detection has time consuming and an incorrect food collection king table may lead to the false-positive results. Additionally, the specificity of consuming has low and the cost has high. Moreover, in the clinical practice, the detection standard varied partly with rapidly growing awareness of COVID-19 [7, 8]. Hence, timely and accurate diagnosis of COVID-19 has still important for the detection and therapy of ne patients. Krebs von den Lungen-6 (KL-6), a high molecular weight mucinous glycoprotein, has more highly expressed in injured or regenerating epithelial cells than in normal epithelial cells [11,12]. KL-6 plays an important role in pulmonary inflammatory damage, mainly due to its ability to specifically identify the function of type Ⅱ alveolar epithelial cell, thus as a biomarker to predict risk of illness or death of pneumonia new environment [13].
