The analysis of contemporary pedagogical studies, the practice of special pedagogy and psychology shows that the dialogic speech development of preschoolers with mental retardation continues to be an urgent problem in the field of education and upbringing of children with disabilities. We analyze the views of various researchers on the significance of the dialogic speech development of preschoolers. It is noted that despite the apparent simplicity of the dialogue, greater independence from language norms, participation in effective communication presents significant difficulties for children of this category. We also present an analysis of the results of our own diagnostic examination of dialogic speech of senior preschoolers with mental retardation. We reveal the features of performing three tasks by children of senior preschool age in the general education group and a group of children with mental retardation. Tasks revealed the ability of children to answer questions of different types, implement the plot using the characters’ dialogue, and request information. It turned out that children with mental retardation are characterized by a long “inclusion” in the task, poor vocabulary, use of simple phrases, and inability to update their speech and thought capabilities. At the same time, the obtained data allow us to outline a perspective in the development of dialogue of children.

Significantly fewer students with disorders and mental retardation. Not specified such diagnoses as an autistic spectrum disorder and down syndrome. Obviously, these were incorporate into the category of violations.Data analysis allows us to draw conclusions that the implementation of the State programme concerning the staffing system of inclusive education is effective, but does not provide the full needs of schools in all members of the interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation support a child with special educational needs. In particular, not all educational institutions are equipped properly to ensure the needs of the child and the implementation of a full-fledged correction support; not organized by specialized facilities, inadequate rehabilitation equipment, special furniture for pupils with impaired function of the musculoskeletal system; missing tiflocorrection means, tiflopedagog; the physical therapist is not available in all schools.Conclusions. Analysis of inclusive classes shows positive dynamics of this process and increase the number of pupils with impaired psychophysical development in secondary schools.Experience of the Rivne training and rehabilitation center "Special Child" and confirms that as a result of the implementation of inclusive education in school has increased the number of children with complex disabilities development, accompanied by intellectual retardation and existing disabilities. Therefore, special educational institutions should be multiprofile that will provide your child with special educational needs education and obtaining proper corrective rehabilitation support.Due to the focused State policy implementation of the inclusion in the General space training and re-training of teachers contributed to the increase in the number of pupils with special educational needs, allowed to expand as the quantitative and qualitative composition inclusive classes.Prospects of the further researches. The article analyzes the principles of interaction of regional social services with children with disabilities and their families. The authors considered the working practices of social institutions as well as cultural and educational institutions as the subject of the study. This allowed for the author’s analysis and interpretation of existing contradictions arising from the introduction of inclusive practices into the organizational culture of the regional social service. The data obtained in the course of the interregional empirical study demonstrate the disproportionateness of the processes of socialization and inclusion of children with disabilities, which is expressed in the lack of readiness as social services themselves (in methodological and methodical levels) and staff (practical, procedural levels) to carry out their mission - the application and development of inclusion practices not only in educational and social and social areas, but also in the field of sociocultural and professional socialization. The study found that, despite constant discussion of inclusion and disability, the concept of ‘inclusion’ is still misunderstanding among social service professionals. This has a negative impact on the effectiveness and effectiveness of the day-to-day activities of social services, the quality of their work, and the implementation of ideas of inclusive culture in practice.

Background As of the present, the twenty-first century is experiencing what may be one of its most devastating events, in respect to infected and dead people by the virus. Now known to the world as COVID-19, the devastating disease of what has become a pandemic started its spread from Wuhan, China and swiftly engulfed the whole world with almost 11 million cases, in a span of around six months. It has not only increased the global burden of disease but has heavily dented many social institutions, including education. Methods This study investigates how the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent measures of lockdown, quarantine, and social distancing have affected students. We look specifically into the effects on individuals’ mental health, that is, the stress and anxiety levels of college and university students using the Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS). Results Among 494 respondents, 61% were females, and the majority (77.3%) of the students were in the age group of 19–25 years. Among the respondents, 125 (25.3%), 45 (9.1%) and 34 (6.9%) experienced minimal to moderate, severe, and most extreme levels of anxiety, respectively. The variables of gender, age and year of study were significant at the 0.25 level by univariate analyses. Nevertheless, the ordinal regression indicates that only gender was significant. The odds of a female student being more anxious are higher compared to a male student (OR = 1.779, 95% CI [1.202–2.634], P = 0.004). The most prominent stressors attained from the qualitative feedback from the Pakistani students are associated with online teaching, concerns about their academic performance and completion of the current semester, uncertainty related to exam dates, and the status of the following semester. Conclusions This study will add to the existing body of literature on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the social and psychological health of students. The study outcomes will provide basic data for further applied and action research and a framework for universities and policy makers in Pakistan and the neighboring countries in the region with the same cultural contexts. Thus, relevant health interventions can be designed for better mental health and educational attainments of students from higher educational institutions. This pathological pandemic may well lead to another pandemic of mental and behavioral illness. All stakeholders should join force regardless of pre-existing differences and inequalities to ensure the well-being of future generations, specifically students from higher educational institutions. The long-lasting impacts and the aftermath of this pandemic will unquestionably need further and future investigations. Keywords: Anxiety, students, mental health, COVID-19, Pakistan
