Kata kunci : Peran PPL, respon petani, faktor intern dan ekstern petani   ABSTRACT Developments in the field of agricultural technology at this time have contributed a lot in the field of agriculture. However, it has not been widely enjoyed by farmers. This is because there are several obstacles including the low knowledge of farmers and limitations in the field of resources such as capital, land and others. The response of farmer groups to the role of PPL is certainly able to create a harmonious interpersonal relationship between farmer groups and PPL. There are internal and external factors that influence the response of farmer groups to PPL. Internal factors include the nature of stereotypes, wisdom related to editing the stimulus, self-concept, needs and expectations, emotions about oneself and past experiences. External factors include: intensity of visits, frequency of visits and the size and repetition of visits. From the results of the study, it can be seen that internal factors or external factors do not have a relationship with the response of farmers, but the relationship is very strong with the role of PPL and the results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between the responses of farmers to the role of PPL. The results showed that PPL as a supervisor had a high category with a score of 71.3%, PPL as an organizer had a medium category with a score of 60.7%, PPL as a dynamist had a high category with a score of 81.3% and PPL as a technician had a medium category with score 62.3%. The suggestions from this research include: the need for a conducive atmosphere between farmer groups and PPL. Keywords: PPL role, farmer response, internal and external factors of farmers

Peat fire prevention activities conducted by farmers as a form of they role in realizing sustainable agriculture. Sustainable agriculture can be run as to maximizing internal factors such as age, formal education, income, land area, land status, distance of land location and exsternal factors such as interaction with instructor or instructor instructors, community leaders, involvement in farmer groups, information media, and government roles. Using SPSS 25 with validity in order test to test the level of relationship and validity, validity by looking at r count > r table which called then valid and if r count < r table then called invalid and reliability tests to know reliable, if the reliability coefficient is Alpha Cronbach is more than 0.70 (ri> 0.70) and should not be more than 0.90 (ri <0.9). Result of research shown that The Internal and external factors still have a relatively low level connection, because the facilities and infrastructures are not maximized to support sustainable agricultural development. Meanwhile internal factors that have a real relationship are age and formal education while external factors that have a real relationship are involvement in farmer groups, information media, and communication and the role of government. Key words: exsternal factors, internal factors, peat fire prevention, sustainable agriculture

Corporate governance is one of the most vital issues in this compound environment at present, which is indicated by the fact that the success or failure of firms strongly depends on performance of the control that board of directors and executive board, take on corporations’ activities. This issue has attracted a variety of researches worldwide, and become a popular buzz lately, however there is still limited researches on this topic in Vietnam. In this paper, we focus on manufacturing sector, one of the most important industries in Vietnam economy, which account for 41.2% of total GDP in 2012. By using stakeholder theory and Kitamura’s paper as a corner stone, a model using OLS regression and log functional form for production function, showing the relationship between some external factors and internal factors including corporate governance is built. From the result of the research, it has been found out that internal factors (corporate governance) significantly affect the firm’s performance, whereas external factors (market share) do not really show any influence. In term of production function, this manufacturing sector still benefits from an increase of capital but not that of labor.

This paper builds on research presented by the authors at IRMA 2001. Previous research by Chau and Turner (2001b) adapted the work of Venkatraman (1994) to explore the relationship between the degree of SME organisational transformation and potential benefits derived from e-commerce. The qualitative data explored reveals various factors that influence SME’s ability to derive benefit from conducting Web-based e-commerce. A preliminary review suggests that these factors can be distinguished into internal factors (organisational and technological) and external factors (nature of supply chain, level of service provided by third party organisations, industry influence, and government assistance). This paper discusses these factors and their implications for modelling e-business organisational transformation.

SummaryThis paper studies the relationship between firm growth and external factors. Externalities from related economic, public research and higher educational activities are traced back to specific locations in space. The spatial characteristics of their impact are examined within a distancebased, micro-founded approach. Applying quantile regression techniques on a large sample of German firms, we empirically disentangle the complex interplay between internal factors (firm size), external factors and their spatial extent. In particular, we find that the larger firms are, the more diverse are the activities they benefit from and that the geographical meaning of “nearby” depends on the kind of activity.

The role of group bonding (friendship ties among group members) and the relationships between group members and the formal leader in the prediction of effectiveness was studied. A theoretical mediated-moderation process model was tested. The model was examined through a longitudinal research with 91 natural groups, that included social network analysis to capture the relationship between group members and a leadership differentiation measure to revel their relationship with the leader. As hypothesized, group bonding predicted group effectiveness, group cohesion mediated only one dimension of group effectiveness, and leadership differentiation moderated this process.
