The article considers the current problems of implementation of STEM-technologies and the separation of engineering STEM-component, which is important for the formation of STEM-competencies in subjects of study. Teaching physics to students of non-physics specialties in technical institutions of higher education in the context of reforming physics education is carried out, as a rule, in the I–II courses. The content of the discipline “Physics” needs to be modernized in accordance with modern achievements of physics science and didactic principles of construction of the course of physics, considering the fundamentals, scientific, continuity and interdisciplinary connections. Therefore, the modernization of higher education in Ukraine requires taking into account the general trends in the development of higher education systems in the context of globalization and European integration processes, namely the trends in the development of STEM-education. It is established that the change in the field of higher education, in particular technics, taking into account the development of STEM-education involves revising the concept of training in each field, so modernizing the content of education requires updating the educational base (goals, content, methods, forms and means), through which in the future the implementation of modern innovative STEM-approaches will be carried out. Taking into account current trends and the main directions of improving the educational process, the method of teaching physics to effectively acquaint students with the basics of physics, which is required for further study of professionally oriented disciplines, should be aimed not only at qualitative, scientifically and methodologically sound teaching, provided by the educational activities of the teacher, and mainly to intensify the independent educational and research activities of students. Such a technique should develop and stimulate interest in knowledge and understanding of physics, their application in explaining the phenomena and processes of the microworld and the world as a whole and give students an effective system of knowledge, skills and form a natural worldview. The article outlines the peculiarities of the formation of the engineering STEM-component and gives an example of consideration of the work of the physics workshop with programming elements. It is determined that the physics experiment is an important factor in the development of STEM-education in higher education institutions of technical profile and methods of teaching physics. The use of STEM-technologies activates the independent cognitive-search activity of students before studying physics and technical disciplines.

The most important characteristic feature of the current stage of development of higher education in Ukraine is integration processes that reflect, on the one hand, substantive and structural changes within the education system, and on the other hand, the processes of interaction between education and the production sphere. The priorities of state policy and the concept of innovative development in the field of education indicate the necessity to form a wide range of mechanisms for cooperation between business and educational institutions. In the educational standard of higher education in specialty it is noted that the future specialist must be ready for the following activities: production and technological activities, project activities, research activities, organizational and management activities. Specific types of professional activity, for which a specialist is mainly prepared, are determined by higher educational institutions in cooperation with students, teachers, and employers' associations. With such an essential range of requirements for future specialists, there is a need for qualitative changes in the content and organization of training. In modern social and economic conditions, the activities of higher education institutions that train specialists for the food industry are associated with solving a number of problems: the imperfection of the mechanisms of social partnership between educational institutions and employers; insufficient practical orientation in the training of qualified personnel for a particular enterprise; inconsistency of the educational and resource base of educational institutions. As a result of the search for effective forms of organizing of the educational process for solving the tasks set before education, the introduction of elements of dual education in the educational process seems to be expedient, promising, and of current interest

An active search for means of the optimization of the educational process on art specialties determines professionals’ appeal to the problems associated with the reformation of higher education in Ukraine, in particular, bringing curricula and programs in line with new industry standards. One of the current trends in the development of choreographic art is a competition, which has become the most active in the period of independence of our state. The main purpose of most choreography competitions is to promote dance in its various genres among the general public. The development of modern competitive choreography encourages applicants for higher education to master the technology of design and implementation of their own competitive choreographic compositions. This task should be solved within the educational process through the elective courses of the applicant. The course «Preparation of Concerted Numbers» is aimed at mastering theoretical and practical knowledge of the design and practical integration of a choreographic concerted number. Peculiarities of work on a competitive composition are due to its specificity – it must win the viewer's attention with the help of an unexpected plot, image, originality, virtuosity and artistry of the performer, the individuality of the artist. Among the methods of the development of production competencies there are tasks for preparation for practical classes, individual classes and tasks for individual work.

The process of studying in higher education institutions is transformed from the system of knowledge transfer to the system of their independent acquisition by students, the search for solutions to problems through research activities, inherent models of studying the Master’s degree level. The development of future software engineers’professional competencies in the contextof a modern university has the following contradictions: insufficient consideration ofdemadsof the specialization according to which training ofmasters in specialties 121 "Computer Sciences" and 122 "Software Engineering" is conducted, in thecontent of academicdisciplines; implementationofonly a general development function in the process of teaching these disciplines is carried out, while improving the skills of designing and developing software products in the training of future IT specialists remains a secondary task; the motivation for the research and creative activity of students undergoing training within the framework of the Master's program is not clearly identified. The article is devoted to the design of an educational Web resource for the study of the platform for Arduino's amateur constructing as a computer tool for the professional competence formation of 121 "Computer Sciences", 122 "Software Engineering" specialties students. The modeling of this web-resource is focused on systematization of knowledge and development of practical design skills in the Arduino hardwarecomputing platform in the study of "Quality Management of Electronic Educational Resources" and "Information Technology Management" Master’s courses. In the process of course design, students determine the purpose and objectives of learning through electronic educational resources, analyze existing analogues of Arduino study sites, identify major requirements groups, design information architecture, present a chart of precedents for roles specific to an educational website. The application of this topic into the educational process of the Kherson State University is aimed at the development of professional competences for future programmers through the active introduction of new educational technologies, the use of opportunities for the information space, and the partnership between teachers and students.
