Although personality traits have been linked to internalizing and externalizing psychopathology, the extent to which these traits and psychopathological phenotypes share a common neuroanatomical structure is unclear. To address this gap, we used structural neuroimaging and self-report data from 1101 participants in the Human Connectome Project to generate neuroanatomical profiles (NAPs) of FFM traits and psychopathology indices composed of the thickness, surface area, and gray matter volume of each region in the Desikan atlas, then used a profile matching approach to compare the absolute similarity of the FFM trait NAPs and psychopathology index NAPs. These analyses indicated that the NAPs derived from Neuroticism and Extraversion demonstrated medium to large positive and negative absolute similarities to the NAPs of internalizing psychopathology, respectively. Similarly, the NAPs of Agreeableness and Conscientiousness showed medium to large negative relations with the NAPs of antisocial behavior and substance use, respectively. These results suggest that similar neuroanatomical correlates underlie specific personality traits and symptoms of psychopathology, providing support for dimensional models that incorporate personality traits into the etiology and manifestation of psychopathology.

One of the main objectives of an organization is the achievement of productivity, performance and high standards through the efficient use of the human resources and the application of the right technologies for combining the work force with the quantity of work. The job of the staff is done perfectly if you put the right person in the right position, in the right time. But to retain is more important than to employ. A talented employee will never run out of possibilities. The retention of employees is a process in which the employees are encouraged to stay in the organization for a maximal period of time. Even though the retention of the employees is a hard job for the organization, it is important for the organization as well as for the employee himself. If we assure the fulfillment of this important objective of the management of the human resources, thus the preservation of the human capacities, than we are in the right path of minimizing the turnover in the organization. For this to be possible it must be paid maximal attention to the employees, making them feel comfortable physically as well as psychologically in the workplace. Such thing requires the readiness of the organization to motivate the human resources. Exactly, the motivation of the employees is one of the most important factors that help the employer to improve the organizational and the employee’s performance. SummaryUsing daily report data from 85 husbands and wives for about 100 days each, this paper explores differences in sexual behaviour between menstrual and non-menstrual days. Intercourse and orgasm are reduced during menstruation, in association with impressively less female desire for intercourse during menstruation. In the highly educated group studied, the women respond to a resultant potential increase in male sexual frustration by providing the husbands an increase in non-coital orgasm on menstrual days.
