Background: Tattooing has gained increasing popularity worldwide especially among adolescents and young adults. Worldwide, the evidence for tattooing has been found since old day. For thousands of years, human beings have marked their own skin, deliberately by permanently applying various types of pigment or ink. Tattoo inks usually consist of organic pigments, isopropyl alcohol and water. Tattooing is a practice in numerous cultures, for a variety of reasons. Sometimes tattoos are used as a proof of social status, or to identify one’s membership. Therefore a study was undertaken to assess the prevalence of tattooing and awareness about associated health risks among students in a selected college of district Ludhiana, Punjab. Objective: To assess the prevalence of tattooing and awareness about health risks associated with tattooing among students. Material and Method: A descriptive research design was used to assess the prevalence of tattooing and awareness about associated health risks among students in selected college of district Ludhiana, Punjab. Convenience sampling technique was used to select sample of 144 students. Data was collected electronically (Google Forms). Analysis was done as per objectives of study by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Result: The study results showed that Majority of the students (>80%) were aware about common health risks related to tattooing. Age and socioeconomic status of students had significant association with awareness of health risk related to tattooing. Conclusion: The study finding revealed that nearly (98.6%) subjects had no tattoo. Hence it was concluded that the prevalence of tattooing among students is (1.4%). In context of tattooing, (42.4%) students were interested to have tattoo whereas, (51.4%) were not interested and (6.3%) were eager to try getting tattoo. Key words: Students, Tattoo, health risks.

The main purpose of this research was to analyse the children anxiety in both public and private schools. The main objectives of the study were (a) to identify the factor that involve to increase fear among children; (b) to investigate the positive and negative impact of anxiety on students academic performance; (c) to analyse the children learning state of mind during fear and submissive attitude. This descriptive research involved the data collection from ninety (90) teachers, three hundred and seventy five (375) students and forty (40) parents. They were selected by convenience sampling technique. It is found that when children are in fearful environment they feel panic attack and they participate less in class when they are in state of fear while most of the children think that stress, verbal threading and punishment is the basic cause of anxiety among early grades children.

Noise pollution contributes to environmental degradation and poses a threat to human and terrestrial lives. Noise pollution can be regarded as environmental noise and the propagation of noise may develop a harmful impact on the activity of human or animal life. This study was conducted to determine the influence of environmental factors and its associated health risks of noise pollution in Owerri Metropolis, Nigeria. The study employed a cross sectional descriptive research design. Measurement of noise levels was carried out at 24 different locations. The sampling technique used in this study was a cluster sampling technique. The average reading for each location and each ward were calculated. Also, 900 respondents comprising adults who live and/or operate in the areas were interviewed on the health risks associated with noise, using structured and standardized questionnaire. The results obtained showed that the computed average noise level at the 24 different locations ranged from 79.4 – 95.8dB, and all of which were significantly (P<0.05) above the acceptable standard ranges of <80dB, thereby rating the noise level not acceptable because they can be capable of causing discomfort and pains in man. Influence of environmental factors on noise pollution; 29(3.2%) reported heavy vehicular traffic plying residential areas contributed to noise generation, 33(3.7%) said indiscriminate blowing of siren. Perceived health risks were reported as 47(5.2%) disturbs sleep, 24(2.7%) causes annoyance, 41(4.61%) causes headache and 21(2.3%) interference with conversation. In conclusion, environmental factors, poor education and lack of enforcement of the laws influence noise generation and there is need to check the level of noise pollution in Owerri Metropolis.

Humans work from dawn to dusk to fulfil the everyday needs of live. They encounter numerous problems when taking them to completion. This is how the human beings are lacking their rights in the world. This researched paper aims to safeguard the human rights in the Pakistani society and their related roles based in Makran. The research under consideration is a social study in which the researcher worked on the social aspects. For this research, research based on quantitative and qualitative methodology. The researcher utilized descriptive research technique, since we can relate it to the past and also with the present. The researcher applied convenience sampling for this study. Since, the researcher selected the participant according to their convenience and collected the data for this study Moreover, the researcher distributed questionnaires and collected the respondents shared ideas about these concepts. Most importantly, the respondents belong to different Districts of Makran division namely, the districts are Kech, Gawadar and Panjghor. For this research, the participants were selected from the three districts of Makran division and one tehsil from each districts and one union counsel from each tehsil. The total no of the respondents were 90. In this research. The collected data was analyzed by applying chi square technique to analyze the data. The researcher utilized survey design for this study to collect the data from the respondents. Where the research tool was a questionnaire. The instrument for the data collection was a questionnaire having 58 items along with the demographic information adapted from authentic research papers. The items added in the questionnaire are open-ended and closed ended according to the research.

This study examined women in university management in Nigeria. It was a descriptive research of the survey type. The population of the study comprised all the public universities in southwest Nigeria, out of which three were selected through the stratified random sampling technique. Three hundred respondents who were in management positions were purposively sampled for this study. A questionnaire tagged Women in University Management Questionnaire (WUMQ) was used to elicit information from the respondents. Data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using frequency counts, percentages, t-test analysis and Pearson products for research questions and hypotheses raised for the study. Results showed that the level of women participating in university management in Nigerian University was dismally low; most of the high management positions were occupied by men. Results of the study further revealed that many women in the university system were being deprived of high management positions because they do not have the same opportunities for advancement as their male counterparts and also, the undue strictness of many women jeopardizes their chances of attaining high management positions in Nigerian universities. Based on these findings, it was recommended that the parochial belief of some people that women do not have what it takes to manage a university simply because they are women should be discarded. Women should also put a check on their undue strictness in the workplace and also, conducive working environments that will promote womens advancement should be promoted in Nigerian Universities.

Education is part and parcel of our life we cannot live without education so education is called the backbone-mirror of our society. Human-being is superior to other animals, animals can be trained but human-beings can be educated. Education is a dynamic process that starts from birth and continues until death. Education has two major parts first one is social education and the second one is formal education both are the dependent variable with each other. This project mainly deals with formal education, the study analysis of different aspects which will affect our education system in SOUTH 24 PARGANAS DISTRICT. The research design undertaken for the study was descriptive research and the convenience sampling method is used and the sample size consists of 200 respondents. Only a simple percentage analysis method used to analyze collected data and results of the study shows that education system has both positive-negative impacts on teachers, students and guardians' satisfaction. 


Employees are not present in work and so the work suffers. The researcher focuses to sort the motives for employee’s absenteeism in an organization. It is the key problem faced by more or less all the employers nowadays. Absenteeism of employees from job results in backlogs, pile of labour and therefore work delays. The objective of the paper is to identify the predominant factor influencing employee absenteeism and to measure the impact of factors influencing employee absenteeism on employee productivity. Descriptive research design is used for this reseacrh. Data was collected from 150 employees using Convenience sampling technique from the employees of IT companies at Trichy. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to identify the predominant factor influencing employee absenteeism and multiple regression to measure the impact of factors influencing employee absenteeism on employee productivity. From the analysis, it was found that stress at the workplace is the predominant factor highly influencing employee absenteeism. It was also found that improper time management is highly influencing employee absenteeism factor on employee productivity


The revolution of information technology (IT) and communications has transformed the conduct of most of the businesses via electronic media & internet. Digital forms have become an important channel for customer communication in marketing along with conventional forms. Digital advertisement allows sellers to disseminate product information accurately and adequately to customers. This paper is carried out to analyze the customer’s attitude towards digital and conventional advertising. Customer’s attitudes have been observed with various determinants like credibility of customers, informative to customers, hedonic pleasure to customers, materialism and good for economy advertisements. Descriptive research design is carried out, 110 samples were selected using convenience sampling technique. Results indicate that digital advertising is creating a greater impact than conventional advertising. Digital advertisement is agreed as more informative than conventional advertisement while conventional advertisement is considered as credible in eliciting positive attitude towards advertisement

The present study was undertaken to investigate the gender differences in coping styles of patient with depression. Three types of coping styles were measured: problem focused, emotion focused and dysfunctional copings. The sample consisted of 101 participants (Male = 61, 60.4%) and (Female = 40, 39.6%) diagnosed with depression who were selected through convenience sampling technique from different hospitals of Dhaka city. Depression scale (DS), adapted Bengali version of Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and adapted Bengali version of COPE scale were used to assess different variables for the present study. Results of the study indicated that male patients were tending to use more problem focused coping styles than females and female patients were tending to use more dysfunctional coping style than male. There was no gender difference found in the groups on emotion focused coping style. Based on the findings developing a better therapeutic intervention to treat depression, was discussed. Dhaka Univ. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, confirmation, performance value and satisfaction with continuance intention. This research is a development from previous research written by Dawei Shang and Weiwei Wu (2017). The research used is in the form of casual and descriptive research. Data collection was carried out using convenience sampling technique with the number of respondents 142. Data analysis method uses SEM (Structural Equation Model) with SmartPLS 3.0 and IBM SPSS version 25. This research shows that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, confirmation, performance value and satisfaction have an influence on continuance intention.
