This study aims to describe the students’ self-efficacy on their writing competence. Descriptive study was implemented by distributing closed-ended questionnaires in addition to interview and the result of writing task. The subjects of this study were three students from Thailand. The students’ responses in questionnaire were analyzed through frequency distribution and percentage. For the result of interview, it was transcribed in written form and used coding technique to classify the relevant points. The result of writing task became the supplementary data to confirm the findings and support conclusion. In a nutshell, the subjects of this study have moderate level of writing self-efficacy. Each student showed diverse selection in writing stage. The first student had moderate self-efficacy, but he relatively could cope with the writing problems. In the second student, the writing self-efficacy was the highest one, and it was proven from her better writing result. For the last student, similar to the writing quality, he considered himself weak in this skill.

Abstract. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the flight-related core competencies for professional airline pilots and to structuralize them as components in a team performance framework. To achieve this, the core competency scores from a total of 2,560 OPC (Operator Proficiency Check) missions were analyzed. A principal component analysis (PCA) of pilots’ performance scores across the different competencies was conducted. Four principal components were extracted and a path analysis model was constructed on the basis of these factors. The path analysis utilizing the core competencies extracted adopted an input–process–output’ (IPO) model of team performance related directly to the activities on the flight deck. The results of the PCA and the path analysis strongly supported the proposed IPO model.

The Company was founded with the goal of increasing the value of the company as well as to provide prosperity for the owners or shareholders. Good Corporate Governance and profitability is an effort to enhance company value. This study aims to determine the influence of good corporate governance to company value with profitability as intervening variable. The population of this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 - 2014. The sample is taken by using purposive sampling method. Under this method, as many as 123 companies were obtained. The analysis tool to test the hypothesis is path analysis with AMOS software version 21. Data analysis method is descriptive analysis, path analysis, and sobeltest. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership, the audit committee and the profitability have positive impact toward the of the company value, institutional ownership has positive impact but not significant, non-executive director with negative effect tendency on the company value. The results of this study also showed that profitability cannot mediate the effect of good corporate governance mechanisms on company value. It can be suggested to replace the intervening variable with other variables such as quality of earnings instead of profitability since it is declined as an intervening variable. non-executive director and institutional ownership does not contribute any positive and significant effect on company value and profitability. The following research can use another proxy in the measurement process and consider other theories that could explain comprehensively.

Abstract   The objective of this research is to find out the use of Whatsapp Messenger as a mobile media to learn writing in EFL classes.Several researchers have attempted to prove applicability of mobile learning as modern ways of teaching and learning (Naismith, 2004:115). Moreover, applying portable technologies have been demanded by most of the modern learners who oftentimes are forced to study anywhere, and anytime, for example, at work, in the bus or at weekends (Evans, 2008:115).The research was motivated by the students’ difficulties in writing. The sample of this research was three classes of first grade students of English Department of Unswagati. The instrument of this research was questionnaire sheet. Data from questionnaire sheet was analyzed based on the frequency students’ answers and then was calculated and interpreted into percentages. The result shows WhatsApp Messenger attracts the students interest and also the students have positive responses towards the using ofWhatsAppMessenger. In applying WhatsApp group, the writer concluded that, learning using WhatsApp group has effective to develop their creativity in writing skill. On the other hand, the result from the questionnaire sheet indicated that almost of students is active in learning to writing recount text. Students can learn out of the classroom. Beside WhatsApp can be used privately, it can be used for students’ education. The students can use their gadget positively for their ability in learning English. The students can improve their knowledge in learning ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies). Salah satu faktor terpenting dalam pencapaian prestasi maksimal pada atlet sepaktakraw adalah dengan memiliki kondisi fisik yang dapat menunjang keterampilan khususnya keterampilan sepaksila dalam permainan sepaktakraw. Kelentukan yang baik dapat memudahkan atlet dalam meluweskan lipatan salah satu kaki ke atas saat melakukan keterampilan sepaksila, dibutuhkan kekuatan otot tungkai pada saat salah satu kaki yang menjadi tumpuan berat badan dan koordinasi mata kaki sangat dibutuhkan sebelum sesaat melakukan sepakan dalam permainan sepaksila.Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Populasinya adalah atlet sepaktakraw Sulawesi Selatan yang termasuk dalam pembinaan Sulsel Maju II dan PPLP ( Pusat Pendidikan Latihan Pelajar) yang totalnya berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik penentuan sampelnya adalah sampel jenuh. Teknik anaslisa data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis jalur dengan bantuan program computer SPSS 16.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Atlet sepaktakraw Sulawesi Selatan memiliki kelentukan berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap koordinasi mata kaki sebesar 42,90%.(2) Kekuatan otot tungkai berpengaruh langsung terhadap koordinasi mata kaki sebesar 9,61%. (3) Kelentukan berpengaruh secara langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap keterampilan sepaksila pada permainan sepaktakraw sebesar 20,64%. (4) Kekuatan otot tungkai berpengaruh secara langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap keterampilan sepaksila pada permainan sepaktakraw sebesar 12,27%. (5) Koordinasi mata kaki berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap keterampilan sepaksila pada permainan sepaktakraw sebesar 15,44%.Kata Kunci : Kelentukan, Kekuatan otot tungkai, koordinasi mata kaki, keterampilan sepaksila.

Tujuan pokok penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empirik mengenai pembentukan organisasi cerdas pada lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Paradigma baru organisasi adalah keharusan untuk menyesuaikan dengan lingkungan sehingga memerlukan perubahan melalui kepemimpinan dan demokratisasi. Lebih jauh, kita ingin melihat bagaimana pengaruh organisasi cerdas terhadap sikap profesional dosen.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode survei penjelasan pada Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di D KI Jakarta. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data sekunder yaitu melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik Analisis data menggunakan  Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Path Analysis (Analisis Jalur).Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal sebagai berikut: (1) Tanggung jawab pimpinan memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap organisasi cerdas, (2) Iklim demokrasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap organisasi cerdas, (3) Tanggung jawab pimpinan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Iklim demokrasi, dan (4) Organisasi cerdas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sikap profesional.

This study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on employee productive behavior and company performance at PT. Tomorrow’s Antiques Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of 104 employees. Data was collected by observation, interviews, documentation, literature, and questionnaires. The analysis technique used descriptive analysis, path analysis (analysis path), and sobell test. The results of the total quality management (TQM) research have a positive and significant effect on employee productive behaviour at PT. Tomorrow's Antiques with coefficient of 0.986 and a sig value of 0.00 <0.05; employee productive behavior has a positive and significant effect on company performance at PT. Tomorrow's Antiques with coefficient of 0.606 and a sig value of 0.00 <0.05; total quality management (TQM) has a positive and significant effect on company performance at PT. Tomorrow's Antiques with coefficient of 0.396 and a sig value of 0.00 <0.05, and employee productive behaviour can mediate the effect of total quality management (TQM) on company performance at PT. Tomorrow's Antiques with Z value (17,311) > Z table (1,96).
