 NUR-IN ISMAEL – ALIH., “PANGONGOLEKTA, PAGSUSURING PANGNILALAMAN AT BALYU ANALISIS NG  MGA SALAWIKAING TAUSUG.” Master of Arts in Language Teaching Filipino, Panggradwadong Paaralan ng Sulu State College, Jolo, Sulu.Ang pananaliksik na ito ay naglalayong makolekta ang mga piling salawikain ng mga Tausug para sa pagpaparami ng koleksyon nito at para sa preserbasyon ng lokal na panitikan. Sinisikap na matugunan ng mananaliksik ang mga sumusunod na suliranin: Ano ang mga natatanging piling salawikaing Tausug ang karapat – dapat na kolektahin at suriin? Ano ang kahulugan ng bawat salawikaing makokolekta? Anong mga moral na balyu ang masasalamin sa salawikaing Tausug? May kaugnayan ba ang salawikain sa masining na pagpapahayag pasulat man o pasalita? Ginamit ang descriptive – qualitative bilang disenyo ng pag –aaral. Ang respondate ay mga may – edad na Tausug na nagmula sa bayan ng Jolo at Parang, Sulu. Ginamit naman ang purposive sampling sa pagpili ng 150 respondante. Interview Schedule, key informants at social triangulation method ang ginamit bilang instrument ng pag – aaral. Ginamit din ang tseklist kwestyoneyr bilang gabay na tanong sa pakikinayam sa mga respondante para malikom ang kapaki – pakinabang na datos ng pag –aaral.Ginamit naman ang frequency distribution at porsyento sa pagkuha ng bilang ng mga respondante na sumagot ng mga angkop na kahulugan at moral na balyu ng mga salawikain. Sa pamamagitan ng ranko, makikita kung anong angkop na kahuligan ng salawikain ang ibinigay ng mga respondante.Batay sa nakalap na impormasyon, ang mga salawikaing ito ay ginagamit pa rin hanggang sa kasalukuyang panahon kaya hindi pa ito tuluyang nawawala. Kinahihiligang gamitin ang mga salawikain ito dahil nakatutulong ito sa mabisa at kaakit – akit na pagpapahayag.Ang magagandang kahuligan ng mga salawikain ay nagbibigay aral at paalaala sa mga kabataan. Nakahuhubog ito ng magandang asal at kapakipakinabang gamitin sa pagtuturo ng komunikasyon at retorika upang ang kasanayang mabisa at kaakit – akit na pagpapahayag ay mahasa. Higit na mainam kung ang mga makolektang salawikain ay maisalin sa wikang Filipino at Ingles.Napatunayan sa pag –aaral na ito ang mga Tausug ay may maipagmamalaking sariling Panitikan din gaya ng mga ibang etnikong grupo. Mahalagang maiambag sa pambansang literature ang mga nakolektang salawikaing Tausug upang makilala ang kanilang kultura at pagkatao nang lubusan silang maunawaan. Ayon kay Soledad Reyes, sa panitikan nasasalamin ang kultura at sa kultura nasasalamin ang pagkatao ng isang tao.

The aim of this descriptive qualitative study is to find out the types of students' schemes in solving the problem of sequence patterns. The subjects of this study were 9 students of VIIIB grade at SMP Negeri 1 Sumowono by using purposive sampling. Using purposive sampling techniques that are chosen with consideration and with specific objectives. The validity of the data in this study is guaranteed by carrying out the Triangulation Method. Method triangulation is done by observation, tests, and interviews which are supported by documentation in the form of recordings and photographs. The results of this study showed that there were 13 schemes appeared when solving the sequence pattern problem involving; scheme of dividing the term into 2 with the same number, scheme of multiplying the different multiplication plus one, scheme of adding , scheme of decreasing U1 to U2 then multiplied by 2 and plus 1, scheme of the difference patterns, scheme of multiplying 2 numbers and adding the numbers, scheme of multiplying , scheme of adding , scheme of multiplying 3, scheme of adding , scheme of adding , scheme of adding menambahkan  and scheme of adding 1 and the different number.   Keywords: Scheme, sequence of numbers, the configuration pattern of objects.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of character education at the State Polytechnic of Balikpapan viewed from institution, academic / curricular and non-curricular.Type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data used in this study was purposive sampling, informant who serves as key informants in this study, such as:Director, Vice Director I, Vice Director II, and students. The data were analyzed by using Analysis Data on Interactive Model.The result of this character education implementation researchin StatePolytechnic of Balikpapan at the institution level there are no policies or regulations governing the implementation of educationcharacter in academic / curricular that was still included in the civicsand religion subject have not been integrated into all subjects, and in character education extracurricular had already implemented in student organizations

The study of turn taking in extensive reading lecture is aimed at investigation the types of turn taking and its functions. The scope of this study is restricted only to the classroom interaction in extensive reading lecture. There are 30 students and 1 lecturer taken as the respondents. They are taken by purposive sampling. In collecting the data, all utterances produced by the speakers were recorded and scripted. Finally, those scripts were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method in terms of types of turn taking and its functions.The result shows that there are three turn taking types in extensive reading lecture, namely: taking the turn, holding the turn and yielding the turn. Additionally, there are eleven functions of turn taking in extensive reading lecture, namely: informative, organisation, affective, responsive, external thinking, interrogative, judgemental, intentional, hypothetical, reproductional, and imaginative functions. Keywords: turn, turn taking, and extensive reading lecture

The study attempted to find out the quality of the evaluation procedure of B.Ed. programme of Garhwal University, the Central University in view of NCTE Norms. The study also reveals the method and procedure of evaluation according to the latest 2 years B.Ed. programme. For the study, purposive sampling method was used. The tools – questionnaire and interview schedule was developed. On the basis of findings, it concluded that the evaluation procedure was in accordance with the NCTE Norms. With the implementation of two years B.Ed. course, the method of evaluation has also become more practical oriented, which has become a remarkable achievement and surely enhance the quality of prospective teachers

This research was conducted to analyze how modernization affects the implementation of public service administration policies, especially in Kediri, East Java. As is well known, from time to time various aspects of life are required to undergo changes to a more modern direction. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive qualitative research is aimed at obtaining an overview of how modernization affects public service administration policies in Kediri. To obtain the necessary data, the authors used a purposive sampling technique so that the sample taken was more focused, assisted by a review of several related previous studies. The results showed that modernization, especially in the field of technology, was sufficient to influence public service administration policies in Kediri.

Bimaruna Jaya Depot is one of the companies engaged in services related to the handling and stacking of containers. This company is currently experiencing problems regarding employee work productivity which is decreasing from month to month from the achievement target. The purpose of this study was to determine whether work competence and workload affect the work productivity of surveyors in container survey activities at Bimaruna Jaya Depot. The research method used is direct observation to the field, distributing questionnaires to insurveyors and out, estimators, andsupervisors maintenance and repair and interviews with depot managers andsupervisors maintenance and repair. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative by distributing questionnaires and interviews, namely purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that the work productivity of aofficer surveyor can be influenced by competence and workload with targets set by the company.

Tulungrejo is a village located in Batu, East Java. This village surrounded by mountains and most of its people working as a farmer. The most popular agricultural product of Batu is apple and Tulungrejo is a village with the largest farm in Batu. As a village with the largest farms it should make the farmers live prosperous, but the fact shows that the farmers in Batu are not so prosperous. Since 2010 the number of apple production has also declined, many farmers choose to plant orange than apple. Some farmers of Tulungrejo Village established an Agro Tourism called Top Apel Mandiri with the aim to improve the farmer's economy. The research aim is to see how much the involvement of farmers in agro-tourism management. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and literature. The informant for this research are the owner of Top Apel Mandiri, the farmers in Tulungrejo, and also the vendors as the key informants. The results of this research is the community are involved in the planning and controlling process through Top Apel Mandiri, although not entirely. The the type of participation is Spontaneous Participation . At the organizing and actuating processs, the community still participates with the type of participation is Induced Participation . <p>This research explains the categories and syntactic roles of Arabic in the book <em>Nashâ? Iħul-ʕIbâd</em> by Syekh Nawawi Al-Bantani based on the theory of roles and references grammar. This research is a descriptive qualitative with a purposive sampling method of presenting data that is separated from 112 data. The research method used in this study is the Agih method with basic techniques for direct elements using advanced techniques in the form of markup reading techniques on lingual element in Arabic grammar. The theory for determining the accusative adjunct markers of Arabic used is Valin's (1993) role and reference grammar theory using Kroeger's (2005) definition to look for core and peripheral elements in sentences. This research has found that the word categories of accusative adjunct can be the noun 'ism', the determiner 'muhaddad', the adjective 'naʕt', the adverb 'dharf', and the negation 'nafi', while the phrase category is the nominal phrase 'al-ʕibarah. al-ismiyyah ', the adverbial phrase 'al-ʕibarah adh-dharfiyyah ', and the adjective phrase' al-ʕibarah an-naʕʈiyyah '. In terms of the role of grammar syntax role and reference, adjunct can have any function as a clause modifier with evidential functions, as a core modifier with a function of manner, place, location, cause, and quantity, and also as a nucleus modifier with a affirmating function.</p>

Data India shows that  Muslim population in India, at the census 2001, was in second place after Hindus. It reached 138 million (13.4%) after Hindus which is little over 827 million (80.5%). This number implies how Islam has been well-received in India and entered into various areas of life including education. Muslim Educational System in India has developed over decades through its Islamic institution and madrasas. This study aims to see the language teaching in Darul Uloom, Deoband as it is reflected through its educational system and curriculum. This is a library based research in which extensive reviews of literature has been made in attempt to produce a descriptive qualitative analysis. This study shows that in Darul Uloom Deoband, stylized writing mastery has become the ultimate skills to acquire.here,  Language is not only merely targeted as a means of communication but also as a means to study Islamic textbooks. Moreover, it is expected that through the language mastery its students and alumni can be author of many books in Arabic and English. The Instagram account @fisipunsika is an Instagram account used by the admin (communicator) as a medium of communication in providing information to students. The purpose of this study was to find out how the communication strategy carried out by unsika physicists through Instagram media in providing information to students. The research informants were determined by purposive sampling based on certain criteria, using primary and secondary data sources. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature, while the theory used is Lasswell's theory. The results of this study are (1) the communication strategy carried out by unsika physical communicators through Instagram media in providing information to students, namely the admin trying to learn an easy application for sharing information and the techniques performed by the admin as a communicator are not too complicated, only changing the message in verbal into images using the Canva application, (2) the communication strategy of composing messages carried out by the admin of Instagram Fisip UnSika is considered to be able to provide very effective information to students by determining themes and materials with an orientation in order to be able to provide information to students
