The purpose of this study is to improve students' creative thinking skills in solving social problems proposed to them. The research design takes the form of a cycle starting from initial reflection → planning → action and observation → evaluation and reflection. If the indicator of success has not been achieved in cycle one, the researcher will conduct the second cycle with the same stage. After the data is collected the researcher will analyze the data, the technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques, namely analysis techniques by presenting data in the form of numbers or percentages to then be described. The first step of the analysis is to make a "suitable list of conformities" between the problems proposed and the answers to the research subjects. This step is to simplify the recapitulation of the answers of the research subjects between the wrong answers and the correct answers. In the list of matches, it has also been shown the category of types of creative thinking that might be given by the research subject. The second step is to calculate the answers of respondents then classified and entered into categories so that the information is more concise and detailed. In this activity, the researcher conducted a tabulation, namely the use of tables so that the data presented were more practical and easily understood besides being more systematic and directed. Third analyzing data means that the answers of respondents are related, aligned, and compared between one another and then described. The results showed that there was an increase in students' creative thinking skills because of the fairy tale activities carried out by researchers and there were positive responses from students to fairy-tale activities/activities carried out by researchers. The results will be disseminated at the research seminar and publish it to an accredited journal. The results seminar is expected to be a place for discussion for researchers, education practitioners, parents of students, especially teachers at the Muhammadiyah Manyar (SDMM) Gresik Elementary School. While publication of research results is expected to be able to enrich the literature of research results, especially those relating to fairy tales and students' creative thinking skills in solving social problems.

This study aims to determine the application of open ended strategies can improve students' creative thinking abilities. The research method used in this study is the classroom action research (CAR) method using the Kurt Lewin model consisting of four components namely, planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 45 students of MI Al-Khoiriyah Sawangan class of students. Data collection techniques used were observation sheets, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed in a qualitative description. Based on the results of the first cycle study 63% of students stated to have the ability to think creatively, in the second cycle 88% of students have the ability to think creatively. This achievement shows that the use of open ended strategies can improve students' creative thinking skills in thematic learning. Keywords: Creative Thinking Ability, Open Ended, Thematic

Existing learning has not fully facilitated 4C (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) skills and there are obstacles for students to encounter in studying biology, especially the material about plant tissue. It happens due to various limitations in achieving basic competency skills. One of the learning approaches that can be used to support 4C skills is the STEM approach which is supported by student worksheets (SW) to guide the learning process. The purpose of this study was to measure the effectiveness of STEM-based SW to train students' creative thinking skills. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative with one group pre-test and post-test design. The research subjects were 21 students of XI grades at SMAK St.Hendrikus. Data analysis of the N-Gain test of creative thinking skills obtained an average N-gain of 0.7 with a medium category. The N-Gain analysis of creative thinking skills using the T-Test with a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 indicates that STEM-based worksheets are effective in training students' creative thinking skills.

This study aims to reveal students' mathematical creative thinking skills which include indicators of fluency, flexibility, and originality by describing students' answers in solving cube and block problems. This research was conducted on the superior grade VIII students of MTsN 1 Makassar, totaling 39 students. The research subjects were taken as many as 6 people using the criteria for high, medium, and low group levels, every 2 students at each level. The instrument used is a creative thinking ability test, which consists of 4 items of description with qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the students' mathematical creative thinking skills including the three indicators were very good based on the percentage value of each indicator being above 50%. In the fluency indicator, the percentage value is 100% for item number 1 and 95.83% for question number 2, the percentage value of the flexibility indicator for item number 2 and 4 is 95.83% and 91.67%, respectively, and the percentage value of the novelty indicator is questions number 2 and 4 are 75% and 70.83%, respectively. From the three indicators above, the percentage value of students' creative thinking ability is low when compared to the other two indicators, this shows that students are less able to produce unusual answers/ideas and the suitability of the answers given is very irrelevant to the problem.
