In this chapter, the author presents the third fundamental component of the triple helix of knowledge: spiritual knowledge. It is an emergent field of research, especially as an integral part of spiritual intelligence and spiritual capital. Spiritual knowledge is about the deep human concerns of our existence, and of our connection with the whole universe. From a more practical perspective, spiritual knowledge is about our values in society and organizations, and how these values influence managerial decision making. Promoting positive values, we realize business performance and affirm corporate social responsibility. Understanding spiritual knowledge becomes this way a key success factor in understanding the essence of the new business in creating value for society and not being trapped in profit maximization. Spiritual leadership incorporates spiritual knowledge and spiritual intelligence and shapes the vision and mission of any organization.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to make a case for linking spiritual intelligence to the Indian university curriculum for creating sustainable leaders and change agents. The growing emphasis on higher education sustainability involves taking a step back from the daily rigors of academic life and giving a thought to the unique approaches to promote sustainability. Though there are several initiatives for making the environment in the campus sustainable – switching off lights/fans, reducing consumption, etc., there are very few initiatives promoting the transformation of the individual. This paper defines a new conceptual framework linking spiritual intelligence to leadership and sustainability of the higher education system. Design/methodology/approach This present study is analytical and comprises secondary data which are collected from research papers, books, periodicals and journals. Using keywords search in the Scopus database, a list of papers was arrived at, analyzed and distilled to arrive at select journals. These journals were cross-reference to the SCimago’s journal portal ranking and established journal selected. Papers based on these established journals were taken for systematic review and synthesis of literature. Literature studies for bibliometric analysis work were also conducted using the using tools like “VOSviewer” for precisely arriving at current and future areas of research. Findings There were three main findings: defined a new conceptual model/framework of practical spiritual intelligence in the higher education system; defined the key shared language of spiritual intelligence in a higher education system; and defined the key attributes of practical spiritual leadership and sustainability. Originality/value This research is based on developing a conceptual model of interaction between spiritual intelligence and spiritual leadership in a higher education university environment that can give us a new insight into the manifestation of practical spirituality in universities. The extent of research work, both conceptual as well as empirical, as evidenced, does indicate the growing and sustained interest in the subject of spirituality and spiritual intelligence, but there is limited research in the area of leadership development and sustainability in the higher education system.

Leadership in an educational institution is one of the determining factors in the success of an educational institution. Through a good system and pattern of leadership, educational institutions will be able to know where they want to go and reach clearly. Spiritual intelligence is needed for a leader to lead an educational institution, especially Islamic educational institutions. In the scope of leadership based on spiritual values, the orientation of all its activities is as a manifestation of worship and a means of devotion to God. Therefore, the journal discusses the concept of spiritual leadership in Islamic educational institutions Maqashid Sharia perspective in terms of dharuriyyat starting from the side of hifdz al-din, hifdz al-nafs, hifdz al-aql, hifdz al-nasl and hifdz al-mal and its implementation in the Da'wah Management Study Program of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research uses descriptive qualitative study methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the head of the department in this study program had a main program in education and training as part of the development of spiritual leadership. Through this case, the head of the department and the lecturer do not simply abort the administrative obligations, namely to carry out the learning process, but also as a means of devotion to God. In addition, spiritual leadership is demonstrated through exemplary efforts to the characteristics of the Prophet, namely siddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathanah as well as various forms of policies implemented by the Chair of the Department aiming to achieve mutual benefit.

The Emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and job satisfaction to be part of the factors that influence performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable partially and simultaneously. This study also aimed to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable directly and indirectly. This study was conducted to 77 respondents employees of PT. Madu Baru, Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative method uses statistical analysis and descriptive. The results of this study are (1) there is a significant effect of emotional intelligence on employee job satisfaction. (2) there is a significant influence of spiritual intelligence on employee job satisfaction. (3) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on job satisfaction. (4) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence on employee performance. (5) There is a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence on employee performance. (6) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance. (7) There is a significant relationship between job satisfaction on employee performance. (8) There is an indirect effect of emotional intelligence on the performance of employees through job satisfaction. (9) There is the indirect influence of spiritual intelligence on the performance of employees through job satisfaction. Research conducted to obtain empirical evidence how the influence of independent variables of intellectual intelligence to accounting with moderating variables of emotional and spiritual intelligence. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with explanatory descriptive or explanatory research. This method is an explanatory research that proves the existence of causal relationship of independent variable (independent variable) that is intellectual intelligence; moderating variable (emotional and spiritual intelligence); and dependent variable (accounted dependent variable). Research begins by conducting library search, followed by primary data collection conducted by using questionnaires and secondary data through data analysis. And for the use of data analysis consists of descriptive analysis, classical assumption test and verification analysis with the method of Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). This study is a census study with homogeneous and limited population of 92 students, all students of Accounting Graduate Program at UNSOED. Conclusion of research result that is: (1) Intellectual intelligence have influence either positively or signifikan to accountancy. Thus intellectual intelligence can lead students to more easily understand accounting, (2) Intellectual intelligence can be strengthened by emotional intelligence on accounting both positively and significantly. (3) Spiritual intelligence can strengthen the influence of intellectual intelligence on accounting both positively and significantly.

In Cambodia, the government's response to the COVID-19 crisis intersected with religious practice this year, as April played host both to the Christian Holy Week and the Cambodian New Year holiday, rooted in Cambodian Buddhism and indigenous religions. Typically, the Cambodian New Year celebration involves the near-complete shutting down of Phnom Penh, allowing for residents of the capital city to spend the New Year with their families in the countryside. Many Christians stay with their parents or other relatives, who remain primarily Theravada Buddhist, in the rural provinces throughout Holy Week, missing Easter Sunday services to participate in New Year's festivities at their ancestral homes. In light of the government's precautionary cancellation of the all-encompassing festivities surrounding the Cambodian New Year this spring, Christians who have previously spent Easter Sunday addressing controversial questions of interreligious interaction notably focused this year, through online broadcasting, on the resurrection of Jesus. In the United States, the near elimination of in-person gatherings has blurred the boundaries between the ministry roles of recognised church leaders and lay Christians, often women, who have long been leading unofficial services and devotionals over the phone and internet. In this article, I argue that the COVID-19 crisis, with its concomitant mass displacement of church communities from the physical to the technological realm, has impacted transnational Cambodian evangelicalism by establishing greater liturgical alignment between churches in Cambodia and in the diaspora, democratising spiritual leadership and increasing opportunities for interpersonal connectedness within the Cambodian evangelical community worldwide.

Toward leadership crisis that crashed the nation of Indonesia, one of thefactors contributors come from universities, concerning Higher Education is anursery area of society and the national leaders. To overcome the crisis, it needed torepair the leadership models that are able to change and improve social and nationallife. The mandate of the university is shaping and sharpening thinking of thelecturers, students, and alumni to always siding, thinking and acting for the benefitand improvement of the surrounding communities. One alternative models ofleadership that are relevant to college is spiritual leadership.Spiritual leadership has been tested and researched by Louis W. Fry ( 2003)along with the comrades in the context of different organizations and the resultsshow the possibility of the application of this theoretical model for various types oforganizations. According to Fry spiritual leadership is the incorporation of thenecessary values, attitudes and behaviors to motivate intrinsically oneselves andothers to be such a way so that they have a sense of spiritual defense through the callof duty and membership.Spiritual leadership model is studied by the author in STAIN Purwokerto, asIslamic educational institutions which incidentally has been practicing spiritualvalues in their environment. The study was conducted using qualitative research andcase study approach.Spiritual leadership in STAIN Purwokerto is constructed based on threeimportant things: First, the existence of spiritual values that were held by leaders andserve as an ideology or belief to motivate himself and others. Spiritual values arevalues such are togetherness, belief or determination, and obeying the rules. Second,building tradition of spiritual leadership that is reflected in the actions taken byleaders in achieving the vision to be achieved by STAIN Purwokerto. The habitualprocess is done by sticking to spiritual values carried. Then it is implemented byissuing flagship programs supported by strategic policies carried out intensively sothat it becomes a regular agenda of the academic community and staff as well as toproduce a healthy organizational culture and quality. Third, organizational culture isfostered by building a dynamic atmosphere, full of family-like-feeling, cooperation,open and respectful in terms of spiritual, intellectual and professional. The efforts aremade from simple things and daily life by providing deep meaning so that it can beused as a driver towards the direction of progress .

This study aims to describe and analyze it critical about the implementation of the development of children's spiritual intelligence through habituation methods at SD Islam Plus Masyithoh Kroya, Cilacap district. This type of research is field research or field research. This research is presented in descriptive form with the aim to describe a process that occurs in the field. While the approach taken is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used: observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman Model, which consists of: Data Reduction, Data Display and Verification (Conclusion Drawing). The results of this study found that the forms of development of children's spiritual intelligence through habituation methods at SD Islam Plus Masyithoh Kroya were divided into two activities, namely: first, programmed habituation activities, including extracurricular activities scheduled every Saturday namely extracurricular tilawah, tambourine and calligraphy . In addition, outdoor learning, activities that have been scheduled each year for grade 5 (five) students, are religious tourism. Second, habituation activities are not programmed in the development of children's spiritual intelligence through habituation methods. a) routine activities, carried out continuously and scheduled. The routine activities include: morning munajat activities (asmaul husna, daily prayers, tartil juz 30, and memorizing selected hadith) which are carried out before teaching and learning activities, dhuha prayer, dzuhur prayer in congregation, and social service activities, b) spontaneous namely activities that occur when experiencing special events. In this case the spontaneous activities carried out included: greeting, apologizing before asking for help, always dhikr, and thanking, c) exemplary is a habituation activity shown by the teacher in daily actions. Exemplary here is shown by the performance of the teacher both in the classroom providing subject matter as well as outside the classroom.
