Background: Maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Indonesia was 359/100,000 live births, while in Banten Province it reaches 264 cases. The high rate of maternal and infant mortality is partly due to the frequency of irregular pregnancy check-ups. This is a problem because not all pregnant women check their pregnancy regularly so that abnormalities that arise in pregnancy cannot be detected as early as possible. Objective: This study aimed to analyze factors related to antenatal care (ANC) visits in the Kilasah Health Center Work Area Serang City in 2019. Methodology: The research method used was correlation research with a cross sectional study approach. The research sample was 91 midwives in the Work Area of the Kilasah Health Center, Serang City. Results: From the results of the study, it was known that factors related to ANC visits in the Kilasah Health Center Work Area include knowledge (p = 0.023), education (p = 0.000), and family support (p = 0.004). Conclusions and Suggestions:. It is hoped that the the Health Centre more intensive in providing health education, so that public health knowledge will increase and there will be changes in public health behavior towards the better.

The nutritional status in the first 1000 days of life is very important. WHO and UNICEF recommend that newborn babies should only be breastfed for at least six months, so that babies can grow and develop optimally. The recommendation has been applied, but the failure of exclusive breastfeeding still occurs. This study aimed to analyze the determinants of exclusive breastfeeding of not working mothers in the work area of Oesapa Public Health Center, Kelapa Lima subdistrict in 2019. This is a quantitative study with cross-sectional study design. This research was conducted in the work area of Oesapa Public Health Center with a sample of 61 babies. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test and multiple logistic regression tests. The results showed that the variables of mother’s knowledge (ρ= 0,001), mother’s trust (ρ= 0,024), family’s support (ρ= 0,000), and health care provider’s support (ρ= 0,028) are related to exclusive breastfeeding, but mothers’ age (ρ= 0.257) and information exposure (ρ= 1,000) are not related to exclusive breastfeeding. The factor of family’s support (ρ= 0,001) and mother’s knowledge (ρ= 0,005) had the highest correlation with exclusive breastfeeding. The mothers' level of knowledge also had a major contribution to the success of exclusive breastfeeding. To achieve exclusive breastfeeding success, mothers need support from the family (especially husband) and complete information from health workers so the mothers’ knowledge can be improved. The health centers need to utilize various health promotion media to increase the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding.

Background. The role of colostrum in promoting the growth and development of the newborn as well as fighting infections is widely acknowledged. In Ethiopia, there are differences in cultures in the acceptability of colostrum and the prevalence of colostrum feeding. Although breastfeeding is a common practice in Ethiopia, there is a difference in the awareness and attitude of pregnant mothers regarding colostrum feeding. Objectives. To assess knowledge, attitude, and associated factors towards colostrum feeding among antenatal care attendant mothers in Gununo Health Center, South Ethiopia, 2019. Methods. Facility-based cross-sectional study design was conducted among 342 ANC (antenatal care) attendant mothers in Gununo Health Center from April to May 2019. Data was collected by using structured interviewer questionnaires and the subjects were selected through systematic random sampling. Data template was prepared by Epi data-manger version 4.2 and SPSS version 23 was used for analysis. Bivariate and multivariate analysis with 95% CI was employed. Variables found to have a p-value < 0.2 in the binary logistic regression were entered into multivariate analysis and strength of association was declared at p-value < 0.05. Results. Among the study participants 226 (66.1%) were knowledgeable and 39 (11.4%) were not knowledgeable on colostrum feeding. From the respondents, 239 (69.9%) had a positive attitude and the rest 103 (30.1%) mothers had a negative attitude towards colostrum feeding. Respondents who had more than four children (AOR = 1.21, 95% CI [1.31, 2.47], ANC visit (four times and above) (AOR=2.8, 95% CI [2.23, 4.49]), and counseled about colostrum feeding (AOR = 2.29, 95% CI [2.34, 3.74]), were some variables that significantly associated with knowledge of colostrum feeding. Those who had been counseled about breastfeeding (AOR = 1.16, 95% CI [1.59–3.96]), ANC visit (AOR = 11.32, 95% CI [1.14, 112.64]), and multiparas (AOR = 5.68, 95% CI [1.57, 20.53]) were some variables that significantly associated with attitude. Conclusion and Recommendation. Even though the mothers’ knowledge and attitude seem higher than from previously conducted articles in Ethiopia, still gaps were seen clearly on colostrum feeding in the area. It is recommended to set strategies to promote colostrum feeding.

Based on data of Health Office of Palu City in 2019 about HIV/AIDS cases, it reached 818 cases of HIV and 306 cases of AIDS, and 109 of sufferers died. The highest cases of HIV/AIDS were in Talise Public Health Center with 13 of HIV. The factor that causes the highest number of HIV/AIDS cases in Talise Public Health Center is the lack of patients participation in counseling, mobile VCT, and many of them do not follow the instruction of Public Health Center in conducting the treatment to the patients of HIV/AIDS. Another factor is the lack of human resources as counselors and lab staff, there is no special room for HIV/AIDS patients inside or outside the Health Center, and there is no incentive provided by the Health Center for the field workers. This study aims to describe the Implementation on Regulation of Ministry of Health Number 21 of 2013 about HIV/AIDS Prevention in work area of Talise Public Health Center, Mantikulore Subdistrict. The study applied qualitative research using a case study approach. Technique of selecting the informants was purposive sampling. There were 6 informants, nameley key informant (Head Of Public Health Center). Ordinary informants (HIV/AIDS program holders), and additional informants were HIV/AIDS patients. Data collection techniques were through triangulations: indept interview, observation and ducumentation using interview guidelines. The result of the study shows that communication is one of an obstacle. Many patients are shy and do not want to take part in examining the reproductive organs. Therefore, they do not receive the status as PLHIV patient. Resources and disposition are not good enough because health center  does not allocate addition staff as well as rewards to officers, the budget only for operational, the bureaucratic structure is good enough, and the cross-sector role is supportive. It is expected that Talise Publich Health Center can improve more about the management and standards releted to the Regulation of Ministry of Health Number 21 of 2013 concerning the tackling of HIV/AIDS.

AbstractObjectivesThe objectives of this study were (1) to evaluate the prevalence of relational withdrawal behaviour in infants aged 14–18 months attending a public health centre in Paris, (2) to check some identified risk factors for relational withdrawal behaviour in this population.MethodsA cross-sectional study was conducted in infants aged 14–18 months attending a child health screening centre during the year 2005.ResultsA total of 640 children were included in the study. Thirteen percent of the 640 infants (n = 83, 95% CI [10.4%; 15.6%]) had an ADBB score at 5 and over 5 on the ADBB. There was a clear relationship between withdrawal behavior and having psychological difficulties as reported by parents, and between withdrawal and developmental delay. Withdrawal was also significantly associated with being a boy, with living in risk conditions (e.g. child being in joint custody, or with living in a foster family), with being adopted, or with being a twin. More withdrawn infants were taken care of at home.ConclusionSustained relational withdrawal behaviour was linked with developmental disorders and psychopathology and not with SES, ethnical origin or rank of birth. The scale could be used in screening early psychopathology in infants aged 2–24 months of age.

Background and purpose: Pentavalent booster immunization coverage in  Denpasar City is reported to be relatively low. This study aims to determine the prevalence and determinants of pentavalent immunization uptake. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in one banjar (hamlet) which was selected purposively in the work area of Public Health Centre (PHC) I West Denpasar, Bali Province. Banjar was selected with consideration of the diversity of local residents and migrants. All mothers who had children aged 3-5 years (138 people) in the banjar were chosen as respondents. Interviews were conducted in each respondent's house with variables included age, education, employment, parity, region of origin, knowledge on immunization, perception of susceptibility to and severity of disease, perceptions of benefits and barriers to immunization, sources of information, family support and acceptance of immunization. Data analysis was performed with poisson regression to determine the determinants of pentavalent booster immunization. Results: The majority of respondents were aged <30 years, high school education or above, unemployed, had 1-2 children and were from Bali. The proportion of respondents who reported that their children had been given pentavalent immunization in children aged three to five years was found to be 78.3%. Immunization prevalence was found to be higher in the population that originated from Bali (82.1%). Determinants of pentavalent immunization are perceptions of benefits (APR=4.78; 95%CI: 1.35-16.96), and more sources of information (APR=1.21; 95%CI: 1.04-1.41).Conclusion: The prevalence of pentavalent booster immunization is found to be lower than the average prevalence of the Bali Province but higher than the reported coverage of Denpasar City. The determinants of immunization acceptance was perception of high benefits and more sources of information. Information dissemination on the benefits of pentavalent booster immunization in children needs to be enhanced through health workers and various media to increase the coverage of pentavalent immunization.
