AbstractIncreasing prevalence of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in developed and developing countries is a health problem. Therefore, type 2 Diabetes Mellitus can be prevented by regular exercise, healthy and regular life. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of foot exercise on changes in blood sugar levels in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Ciracas District Health Center. This type of research is experimental with one group pre-post test design. The population in this study were 36 elderly people with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Ciracas District Health Center. The sample in this study were 18 elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Ciracas District Health Center. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling. Methods of data collection using an observation sheet before and after being given foot exercises. The statistical test used in this study is the paired T test. The results showed that there was no change in blood sugar levels before and after doing foot exercises, the statistical test results obtained a p value of 0.870, which means 0.870> 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant effect between foot exercise and changes in blood sugar levels in elderly patients. Type II diabetes mellitus at the Ciracas Subdistrict Health Center. The absence of any effect of foot exercises on changes in blood sugar levels in the elderly could be due to incomplete exercise, therefore foot exercise training to change blood sugar levels must be done in the elderly. Keywords : Foot exercise, Blood Sugar Levels, DM type 2

Dementia is an acquired intellectual and memory dysfunction caused by brain disease, and is not associated with impaired levels of consciousness. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with dementia in the elderly at the Cakung District Health Center in 2020. This study is a quantitative study with a correlative descriptive research design with a cross sectional study approach. The population consisted of elderly patients who participated in prolanis activities at the Cakung District Health Center. Sampling using total sampling. The sample consisted of 60 respondents. Data analysis using chi square test. The results showed a relationship between age (p = 0.000), physical activity (p = 0.000) and dementia. Physical activity needs to be done by the elderly to inhibit the factors that accelerate the onset of dementia. Counseling and learning about physical activity in the elderly should be a program in providing health services to the elderly, especially to prevent dementia. Keywords : Dementia, Physical Activity

Health conditions that are not monitored and risk factors for PTM that are not detected directly can increase morbidity and even lead to death.  While poor health conditions in the elderly, often sick can be a burden for family members. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the participation of the elderly to Posbindu in Indonesia. Method used in this research is a descriptive literature review study. Where in this method, researchers use search techniques, analyze and combine facts from various credible related sources. The sources in question are various research results that have been published previously. The analysis is carried out by searching various scientific articles or related journals published on Google Scholar with a publication range of the last five years starting from 2016 – 2020. Based on the results of the study, there were 2 out of 9 journals that stated that the age factor, gender and  work factor, 3 of 9 journals stated that the attitude factor and motivation factor, 5 out of 9 journals stated that the knowledge factor, 1 out of 9 journals stated that the distance factor and policy, 5 out of 9 journals mentioning that family support factors, 2 out of 9 journals that mention that the motivational factor and 3 out of 9 journals that stated that the role of health workers was related to the participation of the elderly in posbindu. Conclusion of this study is that there are many factors that influence the participation of the elderly to Posbindu where of the 12 behavioral factors related to participation, knowledge and family support are the most dominant factors affecting the participation of the elderly to Posbindu in Indonesia. Keywords : Predisposing factors, Enabling factors, Reinforcing factor, Participation, Posbindu

Said Sukanto Hospital, as many as 133 patients. The sample required in this study is 100 respondents. The statistical test used was chi square. There is a relationship between age (p = 0.032), gender (p = 0.016), medication (p = 0.009), and exercise (p = 0.000) with blood pressure in patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Bhayangkara Hospital Tk.I R . Hypertension control has been pursued by the government by implementing a chronic disease prevention program (PROLANIS) through collaboration with BPJS. This study aims to determine the difference in blood pressure reduction in primary hypertension patients who follow prolanis and non prolanis in the Cipayung District Health Center. Pre-experimental research design with static group comparison research. The study population was primary hypertension patients who followed prolanis and non prolanis in the Cipayung District Health Center. Samples were taken by purposive sampling and found 40 people. The collected data is tested statistically by T-test. The results of the study of primary hypertension patients who follow Prolanis have better blood pressure. Statistical test results showed there were differences in blood pressure reduction in primary hypertension patients who followed prolanis and non prolanis (p = 0,000, p <0.05). Nurses provide education to primary hypertension patients who have not yet joined the program to participate in the PROLANIS program.Keyword: Hypertension, Blood Pressure, PROLANIS

Rheumatic disease is a chronic joint inflammatory disease caused by an autoimmune disorder. Pain is a clinical complaint most frequently encountered by nurses. This study aims to determine the comparison of the results of back message therapy and not back message therapy with pain in elderly rheumatism. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental research design made using a non-equivalent group design with pre and post tests. The research sample was 18 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection using experimental method. The instrument for measuring the level of pain uses a numerical rating scale (NRS) . From the results of statistical analysis using the Independent Sample Test, it is known that the average difference in the measurement results of back message therapy in the pre category of 5.22 and post is 2.00 with p value = 0.000 (<0.05), while there is a difference of pre 5, 17 and post 3.50 on no back message therapy which obtained p value = 0.000 (<0.05). It was concluded that there was a significant difference in pain in elderly arthritic patients who took back message therapy and did not follow back message therapy. It is important for the results of this study that health workers teach back message therapy for the elderly who experience pain because this is a very effective therapy for people with rheumatism. Keywords: Back Message, Rheumatic Pain, Elderly
