Abstract Many Christians never deal with God, but only deal with religion, church, and pastors. Although many Christians still feel they have dealt with God, thus making them Christians who do not experience God personally, and certainly do not experience the discipleship process. Through descriptive qualitative methods, it can be concluded that Christians should have the character of Christ according to the title Christian first appeared in Antioch which was assigned to students who learned the Gospel from Paul Barnabas for being followers of Jesus Christ. People who are in Christ must wear passion, spirit, and desire as Jesus wore so that the behavior of believers who call Christians behave like Christ. This must continue to be fought for because it cannot happen automatically, it takes a high and serious and consistent effort for a long time until the end to be found to be in Christ.   Abstrak Banyak orang Kristen tidak pernah berurusan dengan Tuhan, tetapi hanya berurusan dengan agama, gereja, dan pendeta. Walaupun banyak orang Kristen tetap merasa sudah berurusan dengan Tuhan, sehingga menjadikannya orang Kristen yang tidak mengalami Tuhan secara pribadi, dan tentu tidak mengalami proses pemuridan. Melalui metode kualitatif deskritif dapat disimpulkan bahwa orang Kristen sudah seharusnya berkarakter Kristus sesuai sebutan Kristen pertama kali muncul di Antiokhia yang disematkan kepada murid-murid yang belajar Injil dari Paulus Barnabas karena menjadi pengikut Yesus Kristus. Orang yang ada di dalam Kristus haruslah mengenakan gairah, spirit, dan hasrat seperti yang Yesus kenakan agar perilaku orang percaya yang menyebut Kristen perilakunya seperti Kristus. Hal ini harus terus diperjuangkan karena tidak dapat terjadi secara otomatis, diperlukan usaha yang tinggi dan serius serta konsisten dalam waktu yang panjang sampai akhir agar didapati berkeadaan ada di dalam Kristus.

This study aims to examine whether speakers who have a basic English language make mistakes in pronouncing the plosive / t /, / d / consonants due to the influence of the Tarakan language, which is the language of the speakers during their domicile in the area. A recording technique was used in collecting data. The instrument used is a list of words, sentences and paragraphs. The population in this study were English-bachelor students who had lived in Tarakan for a long time and were accustomed to using the Tarakan accent. The sampling technique used was purposive sample of 3 people. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods by analyzing the data of the transcription.The results of this study indicate that in pronouncing English consonants and vowels, there are still many students who do not pronounce them correctly. They make a lot of mistakes in pronouncing the plosive / d / correctly in every word. They tend to change it to / t /.

The calling of faith as a believer has a lot of emphasis on being a witness for many people, so that through life's testimony many people become attracted to and believe in the Savior of the Lord Jesus Christ. The calling of apologetics in the life of faith is forgotten and as if it is only a part of those who get the title "Servant of God". The calling of Believers in Apologetics is a general calling as well as a call to be witnesses for Christ, because many around us are people who hold us accountable for the Christian faith, therefore through this writing all believers can be made aware that apologetics is a calling that is glorious in the life of the believer. This research is structured using descriptive qualitative methods through literature study and conclusions are generally drawn based on deductive methods to generate understanding as a believer in his calling to defend the faith.Panggilan hidup beriman sebagai orang percaya banyak bertitik tumpu pada menjadi saksi bagi banyak orang, sehingga melalui kesaksian hidup banyak orang menjadi tertarik dan percaya kepada Tuhan Yesus Kristus Juru Selamat. Panggilan berapologetika dalam hidup beriman terlupakan dan seolah itu hanya menjadi bagian dari mereka yang mendapat gelar “Hamba Tuhan”. Panggilan Orang Percaya dalam Berapologetika adalah panggilan yang umum sebagaimana panggilan untuk menjadi saksi bagi Kristus, sebab banyak disekitar kita orang yang meminta pertanggunganjawaban iman Kristen yang kita percaya, oleh sebab itu melalui tulisan ini semua orang percaya kiranya bisa disadarkan bahwa berapologetika itu adalah suatu panggilan yang mulia dalam hidup orang percaya. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi Literatur dan kesimpulan secara umum diambil berdasarkan metode deduktif untuk melahirkan pemahaman sebagai orang percaya dalam panggilannya untuk membela iman.

In the Gospel according to St. John it is written that ‘God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have ever-lasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.’ In these familiar words is summed up the message of the Bible as a whole, and of the New Testament in particular. In spite of all that may be said of sin and depravity, of judgment and the wrath of God, the last word is one not of doom but of salvation. The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is a Gospel of salvation, of deliverance and redemption. The news that was carried into all the world by the early Church was the Good News of the grace and love of God, revealed and made known in Jesus Christ His Son. In the words of Paul, it is that ‘God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself’.

This study aims to determine the implementation of the management and leadership of kiai Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor in order to continue to exist and even become a prototype of leadership and management of modern Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The study used descriptive qualitative methods which were carried out by collecting data obtained from documentation, observation and interviews, and supported by literature studies, both from books and journals. The results of the study show that the modernity of Pondok Gontor is seen in the implementation of management which is different from Islamic boarding schools in general. Gontor's management is carried out based on the principles of transparency and accountability as well as togetherness. Pondok Gontor adheres to a collective, democratic, and transformational leadership model. This leadership model is proven to be able to bring about change in every student and teacher to achieve high performance. Through its vision and mission, Pondok Gontor strives to produce strong and solid leaders, leaders who have a noble soul and philosophy of life, correct values and are involved in the totality of life in the boarding with high discipline.

Syncretism is not just phenomenology in the church but is a real and serious problem. Syncretism is a mixture of Christian faith and culture that results in the congregation losing its identity as a believer, blurred beliefs and do not have absolute truth. Syncretism in the church is a real and serious problem in the life of the church because it negatively impacts spiritual growth.The church cannot grow in true knowledge about Jesus Christ because of the dualism of belief, so Jesus Christ is not the only way of truth and life. The method used in this paper is theological qualitative research. Qualitative is a research method that emphasizes an in-depth understanding of a problem with the process of observation and interview. Conducting literature review and exposition of verses related to the discussion material. This research is descriptive. The results obtained are found the danger of syncretism to the church, namely: the absence of absolute truth in Christ because of the dualism that affects the spiritual growth of the church. Abstrak Sinkretisme bukan hanya fenomenologi di gereja tetapi menjadi masalah nyata dan serius. Sinkretisme adalah percampuran antara iman Kristen dengan budaya yang mengakibatkan jemaat kehilangan identitasnya sebagai orang percaya, kepercayaannya kabur dan tidak memiliki kebenaran absolut. Sinkretisme adalah masalah serius dalam kehidupan gereja karena memiliki dampak negatif pada pertumbuhan rohani. Gereja tidak dapat bertumbuh dalam pengenalan yang benar akan Yesus Kristus karena dualisme kepercayaan, sehingga Yesus Kristus bukanlah satu-satunya jalan kebenaran dan kehidupan. Metode yang dipakai dalam peulisan ini adalah kualitatif teologi. Kualitatif adalah metode penelitian yang menekankan pada suatu pemahaman secara mendalam terhadap suatu masalah dengan proses observasi dan wawancara. Melakukan kajian pustaka dan eksposisi ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan materi pembahasan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah ditemukan adanya bahaya sinkretisme terhadap jemaat, yaitu: tidak adanya kebenaran mutlak di dalam Kritus karena adanya dualisme yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan rohani jemaat.

This research discusses the discrimination by white people to black people in “The Help” Movie. Black people and white people are separated by many rules that make black people is intimidating, so racism is still growing up until generations. This research aims to analyze the history, concept or types of racism and the struggle that also does by black people in “The Help” Movie. This research used descriptive qualitative methods. The researcher used the Sociological approach to identify and to find out the types of racism contained in The Help movie. In addition, from the result of the analysis, it was found that there are 4 types or concepts of racism in “The Help” Movie, such as the internalized, interpersonal, institutional and societal types by using Paradies and William’s theory. In the last result of analysis, the researcher also found the Struggle that does by the black people in “The Help” Movie.  Keywords: Movie, Racism, Sociological Approach.

This research analyzes the elements of personality in the main character of Sweeney Todd: The Demon of Barber of Fleet Street by Tim Burton. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative methods because the results of this research are words which are then described. In this research, the reseacher found the elements of personality in the main character of Sweeney Todd: The Demon of Barber of Fleet Street by Tim Burton such as Todd id as the desire wants to revenge Turpin and Beadle because of what they did to Todd’s family, the desire wants to kill Pirelli because he knew his the real identity, and the desire wants to kill Mrs. Lovett because she lied him. The desires as Todd’s id realized and supported by the ego. The way how ego realized all of id in Sweeney Todd, the ego does his role with an action. Thus the superego does not appear much as the id. His role only related with a good value such as when Todd wants to reveal the fake barber about his crime.Keywords: Sweeney Todd, id, ego, superego.

Language is a human interaction tool to facilitate humans to communicate with one another, language also has benefits that are very important for life as an introduction in the world of education. But what happens, the fact is that at the moment in carrying out group guidance conducted by some people, they have not been able to use good and correct grammar, but have already behaved politely when communicating with other interlocutors and some people still assume that when communicating only requires language simple or improvised. This study aims to teach that people need to apply true and wise communication, especially in the use of good and correct language systems when conducting group guidance. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods that refer to data collection, data analysis, interpretation of the data concerned with the situation. The results of this study indicate that in conducting group counseling they have not been able to apply good and correct language but have applied good manners. This research has various benefits, namely making people able to understand and realize that the importance of communication when guidance uses good and correct language so that it is easy to understand and easily accepted.

This study aims to see who is involved in public services in the Tobekgodang District of Tampan District, which has been regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform No. 13 of 2009 concerning Guidelines for Improving the Quality of Public Services. The design of this study uses descriptive qualitative methods that will reinforce and review the data in general in the form of documents relating to public facilities within the scope of public services Tobekgodang District Tampan District. In addition, so that the research objectives can be used also use primary data in the form of interviews with research informants, namely: Head of Tobekgodang Village, Secretary of Tobekgodang Village, Tobek godang Village Staff and Tobekgodang Village Community. The results of this study indicate that the participation of the community in Tobekgodang Subdistrict, Tampan District has been effective in improving public services in Tobekgodang Subdistrict, Tampan District.

To improve a company's positive image and reputation, Ciewie Batik attempts to develop interactive communication to consumers, both online and offline. This study discusses the strategies and forms of interactive communication that Ciewie Batik uses to run its business in an effort to penetrate domestic, national, and international markets. Using descriptive qualitative methods, this study has found that in order to maximize customer service and promotion, and in an effort to foster value from innovation, Ciewie Batik's interactive communication strategy is to integrate social media and Android applications and actively recruit web-resellers. For example by intensifying customer complaints and inquiries in an express manner. Additionally, by cons–tantly updating Ciewie Batik's website, increasing Facebook Fanpage, and actively recruiting web-reseller.
