Both the authors’ previous experience and the devoted literature highlight the particular role of teacher-student communication for the quality of graduates’ professional development and education. The research presented herein is based on a sociological survey conducted in a large university from north-west Romania, on more than 600 Economics Master’s students. The chief goal of our research is to determine efficient ways to improve the student training provided by the master programmes in Economics, by means of a better stimulation on the part of the teachers, a more efficient teacher – student communication, a better quality of the teaching materials employed and a greater relevance of the educational content for the particular area of specialisation pursued. After an initial review of the material resulted from the sociological survey, we continued to analyse the results in relation to the tiers of the communication process, the role of groups in the learning process and of the education process in the development of emotional intelligence.Within the current phase of our study, the underlying hypotheses are:(1) The training of Economics and Business Administration students provides them with opportunities of professional specialisation, while developing skills and abilities useful in everyday life.(2) The students’ training in Economics also entails an implicit educational process, which supports the development of their emotional intelligence.(3) Multiculturalism bears manifold benefits, both in terms of specialist professional training and on graduates’ attitudes and behaviour in the social life. This study allowed us to validate the hypotheses and to draw some interesting conclusions for the education of students enrolled in the university surveyed.

The article presents a qualitative analysis of museum educational products. These products have been studied in terms of the possibility of their use in formal, non-formal and informal education. Thus, the role of the museum as an actor of continuing education has been determined. The role of continuing education in the educational process is becoming more obvious for most participants, and informal education plays a huge role in this process. It is urgent now to develop high-quality educational environment. Due to museums and their offline and online educational products, it is possible to get success. The author analyzed educational activities of leading Russian and foreign museums. As a result, the possibilities of museums as an educational institution for formal, non-formal and informal education were determined. Formal education is characterized by the network interaction of educational organizations and museums when the museum educational resources are included in the educational process. The largest number of museum educational products in traditional and innovative forms is made for non-formal or supplementary education. The traditional forms of museum educational resources include excursions, game formats for acquaintance with the exposition/exhibition (quests), museum master classes, interactive classes, as well as offline continuing education programs for a professional audience. The innovative forms include intra-museum programs, for example, performances, thematic classes within the museum’s profile, and Internet resources such as pages of official museum sites, online academies of museums, museum groups on social media, official museum channels on YouTube, webinars, virtual museums. Thus, non-formal educations could be in onsite or online training forms. Informal education can apply the museum’s resources both in traditional forms and in an innovative one. The museum online resources such as online museum games, massive open online courses (MOOC), and podcasts have the highest priority in this area. Museums and universities cooperate to get high-quality competitive educational online resources. In conclusion, it is possible to speak about a new stage in the development of museum educational activity. This stage is characterized by increasing attention to professional education by adding formal and non-formal (supplementary) educational programs, and, simultaneously, increasing the role of informal education due to online technology. It should be emphasized that museum staff could develop museum educational products for formal and non-formal education independently, but it is advisable for museums to intensify cooperation with universities to enter the online education market.

In 2020, due to the spread of a new coronavirus infection, the education system underwent significant changes, which were of an urgent nature, which could not but affect the lifestyle, as well as the health of students. The results of a study on the hygienic assessment of the peculiarities of the daily budget of time of Vladivostok students in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic are presented. By the method of questioning, the study of the mode of educational activity, sleep, physical activity, nutrition was carried out in 634 students of 1–4 courses at the age of 18–24 years. It was found that the respondents' favorite e-learning tool was a smartphone, and for 5.84 ± 0.93% of the respondents, it was the only subject of communication. It was determined that distance learners significantly more often exceeded the hygienic recommendations for the duration of continuous work with a computer / laptop, in comparison with students in traditional education (39.39 ± 2.21% versus 28.47 ± 3.76% χ2 = 5, 69, p = 0.018), and also significantly more often exceeded the time schedule for night sleep at 7–8 hours (15.92 ± 1.65% versus 6.94 ± 2.12%, χ2 = 7.49, p = 0.007) ... It was determined that among students who were online there were significantly fewer people eating once (9.8 ± 1.34% versus 24.31 ± 3.57%, χ2 = 20.59, p < 0.001) and shortly before sleep (52.24 ± 2.26% versus 64.58 ± 3.99%, χ2 = 6.85, p = 0.009). It was found that distance learners significantly more often walked than those who attended full-time classes (56.73 ± 2.24% versus 29.86 ± 3.81%, χ2 = 8.32, p = 0.004). So, distance education made it possible not to interrupt the educational process, however, the method of education was accompanied by a change in the usual regimes and the redistribution of time costs.

The work considered a system of knowledge control of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. It was shown that the quality of higher education depends mainly on the level of student training, the qualifications of teaching staff, the organization of the learning process, the efficiency of monitoring the quality of the education, and also factors allowing to improve the quality of education in the university. Assessment of the knowledge quality received by the students in the "Chemistry" discipline was carried out among the students of the Automobile Faculty of the KHNADU, entered the first year of the Bachelor of full-time education, during 2014/15–2018/19 academic years. The control was carried out with the help of traditional pedagogical practice types – the main (preliminary, final, and control of residual knowledge) and periodical (current and thematic knowledge tests). Statistical research on the performance of the main types of students' knowledge control, as more significant, shows that the important part of educational activity in university is an effective organization of its control. It was established that main principles of the control of students’ knowledge received during learning subject are the regularity and systematical conduct, the objectivity of assessment of the level of students' skills, the ability to identify the actual level of learning educational materials by the students, the timeliness of identification of the gaps in the learning process by the teacher and applying ways to overcome them. The internal and external factors affecting the performance of students during studying the "Chemistry" discipline have been distinguished. The internal factors are the knowledge level before entering the university and the motivation for learning the subject. The external are an organization of the educational process, self-organization of student learning activity, teaching methods and forms and professionalism of the educator, quality of additional services (holding consultations and individual lessons), educator-student relationship. It was identified that during studying the "Chemistry" discipline, the influence of the factors that students had before entering the university is weakened, and the external factors, which appeared in the process of studying in university, have a significant impact.

DL), which has resulted in an unprecedented experiment in the sphere of higher education in Ukraine that requires scientific analysis. The aim of the work was to identify the possible potential directions of DL development in institutions of higher education as a result of marketing research of satisfaction/dissatisfaction of students with DL. The survey method was used in the study. The results of marketing research (an online survey of students) (Kharkiv, 2020, n = 316) allowed the authors to identify the factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of students with DL. Students considered the most important factors of satisfaction with DL as follows: development of competencies, self-organization, discipline, self-motivation, responsibility, taking an active position as participants of the educational process, comfort. Students expect that lectures secure improvement of teacher-student communication process; flexibility of educational approaches; use of interactive tools and constant change of activities to maintain the attention, interest, concentration of students on studying process. The latter will maximize students’ involvement in activities during training; improvement of digital competencies. The students` expectations are: flexibility of the DL platforms compared to full-time in-person education; creation of the “map” of the educational process in a distance mode. It is noted that the results of marketing research (the online survey) demonstrated the factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of students with DL. This information was considered as the arguments for identifying the possible potential directions of DL development in higher education institutions.

The article considers the problem of organizing distance learning, using the example of Microsoft Access within the course of information technology. The article aims to present the author’s method of distance learning in IT ba ed on universal information technology environments. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the method of synchronous-asynchronous organization of training is shown; the conditions for the design of synchronous-asynchronous training have been identified; the implementation of such training is shown by a specific example; the problems that arise in the process of using the presented training model are identified. Moreover, we can see students’ opinions about this educational form; it is shown that, in general, students are positively disposed towards this format of learning. It is impossible to teach a whole range of skills and abilities necessary for students in full-time education unlike, however, using the presented distance learning model. This is the theoretical significance of the work. The author claims that distance learning in information technologies is a much more efficient form of organizing the educational process than full-time education. The novelty of the article lies in the presented teaching methodology based on the use of a synchronous-asynchronous model and universal information technology environments.

In this chapter the main contradictions and discrepancies which are available in pedagogical system are considered. Introduction of electronic tutorials and estimation doesn't lead to their disappearance, and causes new aspects at the new level. In difficult systems other, nonlinear regularities therefore efficiency of educational process doesn't increase linearly, in proportion to the used new information technologies work, it is necessary to consider that the assessment plays not only function of correlation (comparison of knowledge and abilities of the pupil his valuable orientations and they got experience of activity with some standards, levels), but also means of motivation. The assessment has to stimulate the pupil to further educational activity, increase his activity. Therefore we consider aspiration to a total objectivity of an assessment, finding of general algorithm for its definition not only senseless, but also harmful.

The current study seeks to identify the role of dual enrollment participation on college outcomes among emerging adults. Data were used from the nationally representative High School Longitudinal Study of 2009. Propensity score matching matched students who did and did not take dual enrollment courses in high school. Logistic regression analyses predicted college success from dual enrollment participation. Youth who took dual enrollment courses had an increased odds of attending college ( OR = 1.40, SE = .05), persisting in college ( OR = 1.40, SE = .06), and taking full-time course loads ( OR = 1.32, SE = .06). They were less likely to attend a 2-year institution ( OR = 0.75, SE = .05) and take remedial coursework ( OR = 0.70, SE = .05). Interactions by race and socioeconomic status found dual enrollment participation to be more strongly associated with remedial coursework for students from lower socioeconomic status households ( OR = 0.83, SE = .08). Further research should explore policies surrounding access to dual enrollment courses and strategies for increasing participation in dual enrollment courses.

The article reviews the use of computer technologies at different stages of the lesson and its combination with other techniques and methods of educational activity, as well as observations of practical activity of teachers in special (remedial) schools. The article also evaluates the potential of geography as an academic subject in a special (remedial) school. A lesson of geography in a special school meaningfully integrates the knowledge of nature, society and humans, through which systematization and expansion of understanding objects and phenomena of the surrounding environment is exercised in the students. Geography as a subject of natural science curriculum offers significant opportunities for the development of elementary knowledge on objects and phenomena of animate and inanimate nature, the relationship and interdependence of humans and nature in students with hearing impairment; enriching personal experience of children as a result of systematic observations; the development of required practical skills in the students. The researchers note the significant role of geography lessons in remediating mental and psychological deficiencies in students from special (remedial) institutions. Geography as a subject in a special (remedial) school has an exceptional importance for the overall development of the students. The use of computer technologies in teaching geography to children with hearing impairment is difficult due to the lack of specially designed electronic aids, particularly taking into account the age and mental development of children in this category and guidelines for working with modern TME.The researchers emphasize the significance of visualization in the process of teaching geography to students with hearing impairment as well as note the need for a reasonable combination of verbal, visual and practical methods. This article presents the results of ascertaining experiment and the results of a survey among teachers. Observations of the educational process and surveying the teachers of special (remedial) schools at the stage of the ascertaining experiment revealed the basic forms, tools, techniques and methods of teaching geography to students with hearing impairment.
