Nowadays teaching materials, pieces of music and methods of teaching guitar are widely available, yet experience has shown that most Hungarian teachers still use only national learning content. Their choosing from the slowly but gradually broading materials depends on their professional experience or previous studies. This study examines the most widely known multi-volume guitar teaching materials from an objective point of view. This analysis classifies musical pieces on the basis of their content. The purpose is not to pass judgment but rather to help in assessing the materials through a comprehensive methodological system. Keywords: Classical guitar, music material analysis, Szendrey-Karper, Nagy–Mosóczi, Sándor Suba

The development of the tutorial function development is the key for an integral formation of the students. In recent years, research on this topic has been focused on higher education, relegating to a second place its development in basic education. In this sense, the objective of this work is to design and validate a measuring instrument for the assessment of tutorials in Obligatory and Post-obligatory Secondary Education, supported theoretically, that finds the required psychometric characteristics: reliability, homogeneity of the items and validity. The study sample is made up of 4254 students of Compulsory and Post-compulsory Secondary Education corresponding to different types of educational centers in Autonomous Community of Madrid (CAM). As a result of the literature consulted and the professional experience, four dimensions were considered on the tutorial practice where the reliability was analyzed (Alfa of Cronbach total of the instrument: 0.929, and by dimensions, Functions with the students: 0.868; Functions with the families: 0.649; Development: 0.797; Evaluation: 0.876), the values of the discrimination coefficient of the items (data superior to 0.2, according to Hair et al. 2014) and the Confirmatory Factorial Analysis (χ2/gl= 0.0254; CFI=0.940; RMSEA: 0.044; PRATIO=0.894) obtaining satisfactory results. For all these reasons, the proposed instrument contributes to the study of tutorials, both from a theoretical point of view and because of their psychometric characteristics relative to their reliability and validity. Similarly, the instrument constitutes a useful tool in the development of tutorials, meeting the students’ demands and needs.

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of matan and syarah Ta'līm al-Muta'allim </em><em>Ṭ</em><em>arīq al-Ta'allum with Daulah 'Aliyyah Uthmaniyyah and its implications in Islamic education in the Archipelago.  Islamic education is fixed in terms of teaching materials and learning methods, because it is part of sharia law that relies on evidence, while uslub (technique) and its facilities are constantly evolving. From this point of view, the analysis of the Book of Ta'līm al-Muta'allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum</em><em> </em><em>and  its implications in Islamic education in the Archipelago can be reviewed. This research uses qualitative approaches and descriptive methods. Based on the results of the research, the book ta'lîm al-Muta'allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum and its syarah reached the Archipelago through the relationship of Mecca as part of the Territory (governorate level/ Province) of Daulah 'Aliyyah Ottoman who was the Caliphate of the Muslims at that time with the Jawi Scholars who studied there. The Book of Ta'lîm al-Muta'allim </em><em>Ṭ</em><em>arīq al-Ta'allum and its syarah are clearly seen in the Salafiyyah (Traditional) Pesantren Curriculum especially in Java Island. It can be determined that the "spirit" of the boarding school is the concept of Islamic Education described in the book of </em><em>Ta’lîm al-Muta’allim</em> <em>Ṭ</em><em>arīq al-Ta'allum and its syarah, especially related to the adab to science and teachers.</em></p><p><em> </em><strong> </strong></p><p>Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan matan dan syarah <em>Ta'līm al-Muta'allim Tarīq al-Ta'allum</em> dengan Daulah ‘Aliyyah Utsmaniyyah serta implikasinya dalam pendidikan Islam di Nusantara.

Effective teaching and learning can be achieved when proper and adequate teaching materials are utilized, but nowadays, such materials are in short supply in the various institutions of leaving. There is a need for teachers to be conversant with the process of improvisation in order to bridge the gap created. Many educators and other stakeholders believe that they need to improvise become necessary because of the large students' population and scarcity as well as the high cost of imported instructional materials. Several factors are considered while improvising instructional materials. Some of the factors include, Teachers should save materials whenever possible. Also, the materials when constructed must be easily understandable to the learners. In guiding the development of instructional materials the teacher must consider among other things the need for the material, the objectives of the lesson, the learning content and activities etc. Finally, the following recommendations were made (i)Teachers should strive to produce the needed materials (ii) they should be safety conscious during the process.

Introduction: Students interested in neuroscience surgical applications learn about stereotaxic surgery mostly through textbooks that introduce the concepts but lack sufficient details to provide students with applied learning skills related to biomedical research. The present study employed a novel pedagogical approach which used an immersive virtual reality (VR) alternative to teach students stereotaxic surgery procedures through the point of view (POV) of the neuroscientist conducting the research procedures. Methods: The study compared the 180° video virtual reality head-mounted display (180° video VR HMD) and the 3D video computer display groups to address the learning gaps created by textbooks that insufficiently teach stereotaxic surgery, by bringing students into the Revinax® Virtual Training Solutions educational instruction platform/technology. Following the VR experience, students were surveyed to determine their ratings of the learning content and comprehension of the material and how it compared to a traditional lecture, an online/hybrid lecture, and YouTube/other video content, as well as whether they would have interest in such a pedagogical tool. Results: The 180° video VR HMD and the 3D video computer display groups helped students attend to and learn the material equally, it improved their self-study, and they would recommend that their college/university invest in this type of pedagogy. Students reported that both interventions increased their rate of learning, their retention of the material, and its translatability. Students equally preferred both interventions over traditional lectures, online/hybrid courses, textbooks, and YouTube/other video content to learn stereotaxic surgery. Conclusion: Students preferred to learn in and achieve greater learning outcomes from both the 180° video VR HMD and the 3D video computer display over other pedagogical instructional formats and thought that it would be a more humane alternative to show how to conduct the stereotaxic surgical procedure without having to unnecessarily use/practice and/or demonstrate on an animal. Thus, this pedagogical approach facilitated their learning in a manner that was consistent with the 3-Rs in animal research and ethics. The 180° video VR HMD and the 3D video computer display can be a low-cost and effective pedagogical option for distance/remote learning content for students as we get through the COVID-19 pandemic or for future alternative online/hybrid classroom instruction to develop skills/reskill/upskill in relation to neuroscience techniques.
