ABSTRACT Tax revenue is important in increasing tax revenue in Yogyakarta. Tax rates for boarding houses with more than 10 (ten) rooms are set at 5% (five percent). Increase tax revenue which is supported by an understanding of the tax owned by the boarding house owner, so that he complies with taxation. This research is intended to study the level of understanding of taxes for taxpayer assistance. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study is the owner of a tax business in Yogyakarta's Umbulharjo District which holds 710 people. The sampling technique used is the Slovin technique, which is a boarding business owner in the Umbulharjo District of Yogyakarta City which holds 256 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using the validity and reliability test, normality test, linearity test, simple regression analysis, t test, and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed there were significant and significant differences in the level of tax understanding of tax liabilities. This is evidenced through the t test with the results of t count 15.920> t table 1.650 and the regression equation Y = 14.516 + 0.671X. From these results it means that the higher the cost of income tax, the higher the taxpayer approval. This is also supported by a significance value of 0,000, which means this significance value is less than 0.05. Key Words: understanding boarding tax, tax obligations, boarding businesses in Umbulharjo District

Communities are increasingly selective in choosing banking services to place their own funds in order to avoid the risk of loss due to poor performance of a bank. Quality services can increase the satisfaction and loyalty of the company so it is expected to encourage the company's success to win the competition. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality variables consisting of dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and physical evidence of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Data analysis used multiple linier regression analysis method with 100 bank customer XYZ sample as respondent. The sampling technique using simple random sampling. Validity and reliability tests are used in testing of research instruments as well as testing classical assumptions in the form of normality test, heterokedastisity test, and linearity test. The results showed that the quality of service has a positive and significant impact on loyalty through customer satisfaction and satisfaction have a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty.

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the Cultural Organization of the Cooperative Members Participation in Telkom Employees Cooperative (KOPEGTEL) East Jakarta. This research was conducted at Telkom Employees Cooperative (KOPEGTEL) for approximately one month, starting from November 2011 until December 2011. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study are all members of Koperasi Pegawai Telkom (KOPEGTEL) in East Jakarta. While the population is affordable cooperative members who are in the central office PT.Telkom East Jakarta branch. The samples used were 58 members. The sampling technique in this research is proporsial sampling technique to sample tables at the level of 5% error. Calculation of research data begins with finding regression equation and obtained y = 33.11 + 0,737X. Then test requirements normality test data analysis with error estimates using formula Lilifoers. L value obtained from the calculation count = 0.077 whereas L table for n = 58 is 0.116. Because L count <L table, then the estimated error normality test regression of Y on X indicates that the error estimates of regression of Y on X normal distribution. The results of calculations to test the significance of regression (α = 0.05) was obtained F count = 36.94 and F table = 4.03. Because the F count> F table, the regression model is significant. For the calculation of the regression linearity test (α = 0.05) was obtained F count = 0,92 and 2,08 F table. Since F arithmetic <F table, then the model is a linear regression equation. Hypothesis testing using the formula of Pearson Product Moment correlation r xy yield of 0.630 while the results of the significance test obtained t count ttable by 6.08 and 1.68. Due t count> t table, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between organizational culture with Cooperative Members Participation in Telkom Employees Cooperative (KOPEGTEL) East Jakarta. Calculation of the coefficient of determination showed 39.74% variation of the variable Y is determined by the variable X. It is concluded that there is a positive relationship between organizational culture relationships with the participation of Members Cooperative. More conducive organizational culture, the higher participation of the Cooperative Members

The purpose of this study is to determine (1) the effect of professionalism competence variable on students' achievement, (2) the effect of teacher's personality variables on students' achievement, (3) the effect of teacher's professionalism and personality on students' achievement. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, with 60 teachers of MAS/SMA al-Washliyah UNIVA as research subjects taken by total sampling method. Data collected by the instrument in form of questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis method, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, hypothesis testing by F test and t test. Results from the study shows regression equation Y = 43.764+ 0,243 X1 + 0.173 X2 that has meaning when variables X1 and X2 changes, it will have an impact on student achievement. The result of data analysis shows that partially teacher’s professionalism affects significantly on students’ achievement with the value tcount 3,485 > ttable 2,002.Analysis on effect of personality on students’ learning achievement partially influences significantly with value tcount 3,105 > ttable 2,002. The result simultaneously shows that teacher’s professionalism and personality conjunctly affecting the achievement of MAS/SMA al-Washliyah UNIVA Medan student with value of 8,143 > Ftable 4.01. Other than that, the coefficient of determination (R2) has value of 222. It means in the amount of 22,20% of students’ learning achievement variable is affected by two independent variables in this research, meanwhile the rest as big as 77,80% is affected by other variable that is not studied in this research.
