A vast array of knowledge has been accumulated on the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction, particularly with a large number of studies over the past few years. However, the effect of service quality on satisfaction of service recipients in Divisional Secretariats in the Public Sector is relatively an unattended area by researchers. Hence, this study was carried out to evaluate the effect of service quality on satisfaction of service recipients of divisional secretariats. This particular organization was selected for the study as it is considered to be the most significant service provider in terms of statutory, social, economic and development in the country. A questionnaire survey and personal interviews were conducted to collect data by using the purposive sampling method. A modified questionnaire was prepared based on SERVQUAL instruments with two additional questions. A sample of 520 service recipients from 13 Divisional Secretariats in Colombo was drawn and it was represented by 40 from each division. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to examine the relative impact of the service quality on satisfaction of service recipients. The study revealed that all the service quality attributes positively related to satisfaction of the service recipients. The findings of the study show that satisfaction of service recipients in terms of service quality has not met the expected level, which a divisional secretariat is deemed to provide for.

This study examined the Conscientiousness domain (of the Big-Five Inventory [B5]) and its facets as predictors of Relative Longevity (RL). Its methods of investigation involved the administration of the B5 to a sample of 350 people from Anambra State (of Nigeria, West Africa) who had RL. These participants were drawn from the representative towns of the three senatorial zones in the State. Stratified sampling technique was employed in the selection of the respondents. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation analysis and Multiple Regression analysis were used in data analyses. The results of the research indicated that there was no significant correlation between Conscientiousness domain and RL. However, its (Conscientiousness) facet (of Thorough) correlated significantly with RL. Besides, Conscientiousness did not predict RL, but its facets (Thorough, Reliable, Organized, and Goal-directed) were found to be significant predictors of RL. The study’s conclusion is that although Conscientiousness was neither a correlate nor a predictor of RL among the people of Anambra State, some of its Facets were (correlate and/or predictor/s).

This study aims to determine the effect of variable price (X1), product (X2) and consumer behavior (X3) on buying decisions (Y). The method used is the interactive-associative research. This research population is all of the people who live at RT.13 and RT.14 RW.07 North Utan Kayu, East Jakarta. The sampling technique is done by Accidented Sampling of 67 respondents who attendCSR event “Kunjungan Posyandu Telon Cap Lang” PT. Eagle Indo Pharma at Posyandu RW.07.Data collection is using observation, interviews and questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is quantitative analysis, including correlation analysis, determination analysis and multiple linear regression analysis (simultaneously), and hypothesis testing using t-test and F-test.The results of data processing performed with SPSS 19.0 forwindows. The value of correlation coefficient (R) is 0.950.The value of determination coefficient is(R2) = 0.903. It means that 90.3%variation of dependent variable (decision of buying) could be predicted from the combination of variables (pricing, product and consumer behavior)and the remaining 9.7% is influenced by other factors. The regression equation was obtained Y = 1,291+ 0.289 X1 + 0.476 X2 + 0.205 X3. For the F test obtained F value is calculated at 142.689, greater than F-table (2.807) with α = 5%, so the conclusion: reject Ho and Ha is accepted. It means there is significant influence of variable price (X1), product (X2) and consumer behavior (X3) together on decision of buying(Y).

This study is a study of facts in the form of opinions/opinion, attitudes, experiences or characteristics of people (respondents) as subject data in the form of primary data obtained from interviews, questionnaire and observation, also seconday data. Analysis of research data using descriptive statistics, with a view to finding strong relationship between variables through correlation analysis with regression analysis, by making comparisons by comparing the average sampel data or population. The results showed that (1) Performance allowance (X1) with all the components of its formation had no effect on employee performance (Y), so the first hypothesis stating that performance allowance (X1) affected employee performance (Y) was not proven; (2) Motivation (X2) with all the components of its formation affect employee performance (Y), so the first hypothesis stating that Motivation (X2) influences employee performance (Y) is proven.

This study examines the political motives of the plan to expand the new autonomous region in Papua. This is because the expansion of new autonomous areas is not always purely for the welfare of the people but is very closely related to political interests, namely power, and position. This study used qualitative research methods. The data used in the form of secondary data was obtained through reputable media and documents in journals. Next, the data is sorted to form a systematic framework. To analyze the research data, Nvivo plus 12 was used. From the analysis, it was described, and a conclusion was drawn. The study results indicate that the political motives for the plan to expand the new autonomous region in Papua are very material-intensive, namely the interests of the political elite, both central and local, to obtain rewards, position, and power. There is a narrative in the ideological incentive motive that regional expansion is for the public interest, namely providing services, developing infrastructure, increasing human resources, and alleviating poverty. However, in reality, some of the ongoing divisions in Papua have not yet impacted the Papuan people.
