The following article, whose nature is descriptive and bibliographic, aims, based on Goal eight of the National Education Plan 2014-2024 (PNE), to identify some indicators for the Countryside Education. For such purpose, we consider the educational reality of the countryside based on: the low schooling of the population; in the negative evolution of the enrollments number in the last few years; and in the circumstances through which the quality benchmark, provided by the Basic Education Development Index (Ideb), has been unproductive to the define public policies aimed for the Countryside Education. Despite the operational difficulties of the educational system to obtain the necessary information for its composition, the results of the last two Ideb, however, already show progress. Based on these indicators, we conclude that some actions aimed at increasing the schooling of the countryside population were undertaken, however, the unequal educational condition among young people living in the countryside and those who live in the urban areas still persists. There is a possibility of fulfilling the goal eight of PNE by 2024, however, this may not mean progress in guaranteeing the countryside population’s rights to an education of quality, but, on the contrary, its reduction.

Palavras-chaveFormação continuada, Ensino de Geografia, Relevo do DF.CONTINUING EDUCATION OF GEOGRAPHY'S TEACHER AND THE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS OF RELIEF IN THE FEDERAL DISTRICTAbstractThis work has as presupposition, to make an analysis of the importance of the process of continuous formation and the pedagogical practices used by Geography teachers, in relation to the teaching of the relief practiced in the basic education of the Federal District. The data presented here, come from a research carried out by the Laboratory of Geoiconography and Multimedia (LAGIM-UnB), which had the participation of one hundred interviewees, among teachers and undergraduate students.
Abstract. The Basic Education teachers in Brazil face difficulties inherent in working with the geographical categories: Landscape, territory, region and place. These difficulties are related to the training of teachers who do not understand these categories and the lack of appropriate didactic material. The absence of local thematic maps prevents the understanding of the place as a living space and as a correlation of stories in the different scenarios of the city "The study of the place as a proposal for the continuing education of teachers of Basic Education from the School Atlas" is a project that allows teachers and students of the DF to approach these categories. The project is divided into two stages. The first stage was the preparation of the Geographic, Historical and Cultural School Atlas of the Federal District (AEGHC DF), completed in 2018. The second stage will be the training course for Basic Education teachers with exercises that involve the place category as a daily space that allows the construction of identities. The purpose of this article is to investigate the use of the AEGHC DF as an important mediator in the construction of spatial categories such as place and landscape in Geography classes. The Atlas is presented as a teaching methodology and strategy in the development of cartographic skills in the development of spatial reasoning. The AEGHC DF invites students and teachers to know more about maps, visualizing spaces, creating narratives and getting to know the place where they live.

EDUCATIONAL EVALUATION: THE IDEB AND THE SYMPTOMS OF THE DISTRUCTURATION OF HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis article aims to produce an analysis on the mechanisms of educational evaluations developed at the national level. Assim, buscamos nossa análise da proficiência em Matemática, de crianças e jovens brasileiros, a partir de dados do relatório do PISA 2012 e dos microdados do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira- INEPABSTRACTThis article provides some notes about the external evaluations [ PISA and Proof Brazil ] of the Brazilian basic education, their intersections with Mathematics and the Development Index of Basic Education - IDEB . The article describes approaches to the definition of “human capital” concept. It is noted that the modern paradigm of socio-economic development of the regions and the state identifies human capital as one of the most important sources of endogenous long-term economic growth. The concept of human capital of the region is defined as a set of localized on-site human resources that 1) possess the knowledge, abilities, skills, health status, level of culture and motivation; 2) are formed as a result of investments of concrete individuals, their families, as well as society and employers; 3) are used rationally and provide innovative development of regional social and economic systems. The current research features a comparative assessment of the human capital of the Kemerovo region and other subjects of the Siberian Federal district according to the human development index. The study has revealed some factors that reduce the «human choice» factor and put the Kemerovo region on the 7th place in the human development index list of 12 Siberian regions.
