To assess the impact of not just the battery as such but its multi-element composition on the state of the environment, a new approach is proposed through the determination of the reliability of ecosystems, which makes it possible to obtain quantitative indexes of the stability and losses of natural ecosystems. These data can be used as indicators of the state of the environment, and hence as the assessment of an environmental component that is important for determining the actual impact of the multi-element composition of batteries. On the basis of such indicators, which can be obtained using the SimaPro software, it is possible to calculate thresholds beyond which negative phenomena occur, as well as to predict and simulate situations, to carry out the mapping of sources of risks, to monitor changes, and this will allow identifying the causes of these changes or determining the factors that slow down or retard the approach of ecosystems to a critical state, i.e. to develop preventive measures to avoid disasters. The eco-indicator 99 is one of the methods that allows us to accept one estimate for the whole product - the so-called ecological index. It is the sum of all individual eco-points or partial indexes for all life-cycle processes. The computational procedure is carried out by summing up the results of weighing the phases of the life cycle.

One of the main criteria for economic development is the size of the public debt and its dynamics. The article considers the impact of public debt on the financial security of Ukraine. The views of scientists on the essence of public debt and financial security of the state are substantiated. An analysis of the dynamics and structure of public debt of Ukraine for 2014-2019. It is proved that one of the main criteria for economic development is the size of public debt and its dynamics. State budget deficit, attracting and using loans to cover it have led to the formation and significant growth of public debt in Ukraine. The volume of public debt indicates an increase in the debt security of the state, which is a component of financial security. Therefore, the issue of the impact of public debt on the financial security of Ukraine is becoming increasingly relevant. The constant growth and large amounts of debt make it necessary to study it, which will have a positive impact on economic processes that will ensure the stability of the financial system and enhance its security.

Abstract: The economic elements are of great importance to the componential structure of the Malaysian society. Moreover, the economic structure represents one of the major elements of a state might. The economic potentials of a state include whatever resources it has or whatever it can get to achieve its strategies or the self-sufficiency of its people in wartime. In peacetime, on the other hand, the state should depend on a strong economic base that helps achieve a completion to its parts and a basic element of its internal political integrity. Accordingly, the various types of the economic resources with respect to the production, exchange, and consumption represent one of the influential factors that affect the political behavior of a state- the way of its thinking, saying, decision-making, and actions. Much of the political behavior of a state comes from its economic background within its territory. However, the factor that plays a significant role in determining the actual might of a state is the number of population a state has and its ability in investing its resources. From this vantage, Malaysia represents one of the economically rich countries owing to its various natural resources. Furthermore, both trade and transport help a great deal in redistributing the economic resources of Malaysia. For the latter importance, the present work is to showcase in detail the role the economic factors play in achieving the stability and integrity of Malaysia and its people. Besides, it sheds light on the impact of ethnic diversity and the strategic position in the world on the overall stability of the state.

Investment determines the sustainability and prosperity of an economy. The paper seeks to (1) give an overview of the roles of companies on the stability of the financial system, based on existing theoretical and empirical work; and (2) to highlight the reasons which expose them to the non-application of their duties against the State. For this purpose, a bibliometric analysis using the Direct Science database was employed. The results of the analysis allowed us to study the search trend by analyzing the distribution of publications, authors, types of publications and fields of research and also showed that the themes of the study are of great scientific interest because of the surge in the number of publications on the role of companies over the last ten years averaging 76.3 per year while 1,690 were on the impact of company behaviour on the stability of the financial system.

In the CTTS system, while transferring the power supply from the grid to the generator, a sudden arc arises, which causes damage to the system. The method proposed in this study reduces this damage. The power state of the generator stage is made equal to the state of the power of the grid in order to prevent the occurrence of a sudden arc. Even if the generator power state is the same with the power state of the generator, an arc can be generated due to a sudden current flow during the transfer. Therefore, the current in the generator stage is controlled to 0 (zero) when transferring, so that the generation of an electrical arc is minimized. In general, when the CTTS system is used for transferring power sources with an emergency generator, the impact from the electrical arc will be momentarily proportional to the amount of the power supplied from the generator to the load. The damage by the arc will make the life of the CTTS system shorter. In order to prevent such damage, a blocking technique using parallel capacitor is constituted. However, this causes arc generation at the time of input. Thus, in this paper, it is proposed to control the effective or ineffective power of the system to zero. To verify the validity of the proposed method, firstly the Powersim simulation was conducted, and after confirming the feasibility based on this, the actual prototype was created and implemented. Zero power control is proposed as a way to improve the stability of CTTS by significantly reducing the generation of an electrical arc. And this technique can help people working on the distributed power or the grid management.

Subject. The article investigates how crises influence the finance of SME and startups, and what the State does to support them. Objectives. The article outlines lines of the governmental policy for startup finance so as to maintain the innovation-driven economy during the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods. The study is based on the critical systems analysis of economic literature (research papers, reports of consulting companies and professional experts). I also apply methods of observation, collection of facts, synthesis, etc. Results. I outlined aspects of the governmental policy for startup finance during the COVID-19 pandemic: supporting the startups that just assumed their life cycle, the State should provide more direct finance, use special governmental funds and departments of State-owned companies, give more grants; supporting any startups notwithstanding their life cycle, the State should adopt some tax benefits in strategic sectors, simplify financing procedures in governmental funds and State-owned companies, lower interest rates on finance provided by State-owned banks. Conclusions and Relevance. The findings can be used by governmental institutions, which deal with SME, startups and innovative economy, inter alia, to outline programs, strategies, regulatory documents.

At the present stage, the question of the stability of the national currency is beginning to take on particular relevance. Since its fluctuations have a certain impact on the financial market and, at the same time, on other sectors of the economy, since money itself is the only meter of the value of goods and services, the national currency becomes an important factor in the development of the national economy and its economic security. And given the current instability, the study of this issue will identify effective public policies that will be based on ensuring the country's economic security through the stability of the national currency, since without the elaboration of measures to ensure the sustainability of the national monetary unit it is impossible to achieve macroeconomic stability of the country. The main purpose of the article is to identify the impact of changes in the national currency on the economic development of the country in order to develop directions regarding the stabilization of the exchange rate, in order to minimize threats to economic security. Research methods: The work uses the dialectical-materialistic method of knowledge and general scientific, special and private-scientific methods based on it. In particular, the work uses logical, comparative, methods of analysis (namely statistical, etc.), synthesis. Results of the study: The article examines the main approaches to understanding the main factors influencing the formation of the national currency of its exchange rate, as well as the effects of changes in the exchange rate on the development of the state's economy and ensuring its economic security, analysis of statistical data of changes in the country's national currency. The conclusion is made about the existing problems and possible directions of solution. Applied value of the material: The article is of practical value as part of the search for directions to ensure the economic security of the state.

AbstractMaternal effects can provide offspring with reliable information about the environment they are likely to experience, but also offer scope for maternal manipulation of young when interests diverge between parents and offspring. To predict the impact and outcome of parent-offspring conflict, we model the evolution of maternal effects on local adaptation of young. We find that parent-offspring conflict strongly influences the stability of maternal effects; moreover, the nature of the disagreement between parents and young predicts how conflict is resolved: when mothers favour less extreme mixtures of phenotypes relative to offspring (i.e., when mothers stand to gain by hedging their bets), mothers win the conflict by providing offspring with only limited amounts of information. When offspring favour overproduction of one and the same phenotype across all environments compared to mothers (e.g., when offspring favour a larger body size), neither side wins the conflict and signaling breaks down. Only when offspring favour less extreme mixtures relative to their mothers (the case we consider least likely), offspring win the conflict and obtain full information about the state of the environment. We conclude that a partial or complete breakdown of informative maternal effects will be the norm rather than the exception in the presence of parent-offspring conflict.
