The essence and features of the customs regime «customs warehouse» in modern conditions of foreign economic activity are investigated. The sequence of stages of customs clearance of goods in the customs regime «customs warehouse» is clarified. The problems of «customs warehouses» and the peculiarities of placing goods in the customs warehouse, as well as the peculiarities of storage of goods, the permissible terms of their storage and the list of necessary documentation are analyzed. Today, the «customs warehouse» regime in the process of implementing various foreign economic transactions is extremely relevant and profitable. «Customs warehouse» is a customs regime according to which foreign or Ukrainian goods are stored under customs control with conditional full exemption from taxation by customs duties and without the application of measures of non-tariff regulation of foreign economic activity. This customs regime is applied when placing goods at the customs warehouse. Operations carried out with goods stored in the customs regime of the customs warehouse at the customs warehouse should not change the characteristics according to which these goods were classified according to the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity. The term of storage of goods in the customs regime of the customs warehouse may not exceed 1095 days from the date of placement of these goods in the specified customs regime. Taking in to account the above, the «customs warehouse» mode is extremely convenient to use, and it can also be used when the final buyer is still unknown when importing goods, but when using this customs regime, the following problems arise: 1. Imperfection of the existing legislative regulation of activities when placing goods in the customs regime «customs warehouse». 2. Lack of clearly established tariffs for the use of services for the placement of goods in a customs warehouse. It is necessary to establish a unified pricing policy for the provision of customs warehousing services, taking into account the regional aspect. 3. Insufficient system of control and accounting of balances of goods in the customs warehouse. Such leftovers of goods can be in the customs warehouse for an unlimited time, and foreign economic entities will spend money on their storage. In addition, there is no legal regulation that could regulate the control of residues. 4. Inconsistency of the equipment of customs warehouses with existing requirements, since the customs warehouse must be provided in a favorable state, namely: technical and protective means to ensure the necessary regime, for the allocation of separate areas for customs warehouses near checkpoints or customs posts. 5. Failure to comply with the storage conditions of products, as well as the occurrence of financial losses of both counterparties under a foreign trade contract. The storage of goods in customs warehouses should be organized in such a way as to exclude the risks of damage to property, its theft, and destruction. According to the individual specialization of the product, there are requirements for the formation of special storage conditions, namely the appropriate temperature regime, which must always be maintained. In some cases, the only well-thought-out solution to solve this problem is to place the product in a temporary storage warehouse. To simplify customs procedures, the customs authorities of Ukraine are actively implementing the mechanism of electronic declaration, which significantly reduces the cost and reduces the time of customs clearance and enhances the effectiveness of customs control. Issues of efficiency of customs clearance are extremely important in foreign economic activity, as they directly affect the volume of exports and imports.

We use the MM/GBSA method to calculate the free energies of dimer formation by binding two monomers with different combinations of precipitant ions, both embedded in the structure of monomers and in the crystallization solution. It shows that the largest difference in free energy values corresponds to the most accurate dimer model, which considers all precipitant ions in their structure. In addition, it shows that in the absence of precipitant ions in the solution of lysozyme molecules, a monomer is a more energetically favorable state.

This article presents an assessment of the state of natural environment components (water, bottom sediments, soil and vegetation) within the valley complex of the Myshka River (Minsk). It is shown that in modern conditions, despite significant anthropogenic transformation, the valley complex retains a high potential for performing the necessary functions as an ecological corridor of the order II. The vegetation of the Myshka floodplain steadily retains its specificity due to the stable hydrological regime. Natural complexes here have a high ecological and recreational value. The section of the river in the middle course is in a more favorable condition, where the flow is better and the floodplain is represented by reserve green areas. A less favorable state is inherent in residual water bodies with disturbed flow in the upper course of the river, where the valley is mostly represented by areas of residential and public buildings. The river experiences the greatest load at the mouth – in the area above and below the outlet of surface wastewater treatment facilities. Here the river cannot cope with the anthropogenic load, the assimilation potential is 11–12 points, polyelement anomalies of oil products, cadmium, lead, copper and zinc are formed in the bottom sediments. The area of the Myshka River valley, located in a low riverbed floodplain, has a most polluted soils. Here, a pedogeochemical anomaly from an association of elements, including petroleum products, cadmium, nickel, zinc, lead, copper, and manganese.

Monitoring of anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) emission sources with air- and space-borne remote sensing instruments relies on high-spatial resolution measurements. Such observations can be achieved at the expense of decreasing the spectral resolution of the instrument, which in turn complicates CO2 retrieval techniques due to the reduced information content of the spectra.

In preparation for the CO2IMAGE mission (Δλ ~ 1.3 nm) – a compact satellite proposal currently in phase A at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) – we present here a dedicated study of CO2 monitoring capabilities with the airborne AVIRIS-NG sensor (Δλ ~ 5 nm). We conduct CO2 retrievals of several clear-sky AVIRIS-NG point source observations with the RemoTeC algorithm, based on the short-wave infrared absorption bands of CO2. Favorable state vector and spectral retrieval window configurations are identified that reduce correlations between the carbon dioxide and water vapor column concentrations and surface reflection properties. We also discuss the use of a posteriori correction methods to minimize biases in the retrieved CO2 fields and, finally, we carry out source rate estimates for these case studies.

For decades, the city of Albuquerque, NM, relied solely on groundwater for its municipal water supply. However, concerns about long-term sustainability of its local groundwater resources spurred the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (the Water Authority) to pursue a groundwater recharge project which could serve as a drought reserve for future municipal use. Aided by new favorable state groundwater recharge legislation and funding, the Water Authority developed the Bear Canyon Recharge Project. The project utilizes portions of the Water Authority’s Colorado River water that is unused in a given year, delivering the water to an unlined arroyo channel where it infiltrates into local aquifers. As the first groundwater recharge project successfully implemented in New Mexico, the Bear Canyon Recharge Project required significant local effort to navigate the institutional and regulatory necessities that arose in implementing an onstream recharge project. The project illustrates that state support can be necessary but not sufficient for local implementation of groundwater recharge and points the way for other water utilities in the state who may be looking to implement groundwater recharge projects.

The article illustrates the process of creating new pastoral centers in the Przemyśl diocese, based on the village of Budziwój. After the stagnation in Galicia at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, with the favorable state policy and the pastoral zeal of the Galician episcopate, some dioceses developed rapidly. The greatest commitment was shown by the Archbishop of Lviv, Józef Bilczewski and the Bishop of Przemyśl, Józef Sebastian Pelczar. They created appropriate materials as well as canonical and legal background, and changed the mentality of their clergy, who began to see the need to tighten the parish network. The study shows the enthusiasm of the believers and the younger clergy, as well as the resistance of some older generation clergy rooted in the Josephine system of thought and action.

This paper presents the results of observations on the state of two bird species populations listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation Recurvirostra avosetta L., Larus ichthyaetus Pall. The populations of these species in the State Natural Reserve Tryochozyorki Tract have been studied by the authors for 8 years. The wetland is a key ornithological area of international importance. The paper presents information obtained in 2020, which has been compared with the information received in 20132018 which was published. For R. avosetta L. the maximum number of breeding pairs (127) and the maximum value of the average clutch size (3,6) were noted for the entire observation period. The reproduction of R. avosetta L. started earlier than in previous years. For L. ichthyaetus L. a relatively high number (no less than 280300 pairs) and also the maximum value of the clutch size (3,0) were noted, the breeding time of the species turned out to be typical for this territory. The analysis showed a favorable state of the populations of these species. The previously stated assumption about the relationship of the studied indicators of the nesting biology of these species with the level of water content of the territory was further confirmed.
