The purpose of this article is to present the results of the evaluation of the imple-mentation of a teaching training course in Engineering Pedagogy (EP) at a Chilean university of applied sciences. The research questions that guided the research process were: (i) How do the participants evaluate the course in general? (ii) How do the participants evaluate the didactic design of the course? (iii) How do they evaluate the teaching competencies? (iv) How do they value the usefulness of the learning outcomes for their teaching practice? (v) How they self-evaluate their participation and their learning process? Based on different authors a questionnaire with closed and open-ended questions was developed and implemented online. For the statistical analysis was applied an exploratory-descriptive analysis. The training course consists of two online modules with 90 working hours in LMS, and was designed by the Center of Engineering Education (CIEI) at the University of Talca, according to the IGIP Curricula of the IGIP center at the Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden, Germany). From the first results of the pilot project, it can be noted that there is a high level of motivation and interest to participate in a teaching training course based on EP, which has been specially oriented and designed to meet the specific requirements of the academic staff of engineering schools.

Manipulation of language used in poems to state poet’s idea is basically aimed to give aesthetic value, help the readers to easily understand, and give complete image of the text meaning. However, in a real application in the classroom, the language style in poems causes language deviation and covers the poet’s idea. Readers should read the poems explisitly in deep interpretation to get the meaning. Therefore, this study describes an eight-week (135 minutes a week) poem stylistics of semantic deviation analysis for a half –semester beginning training course (poetry class) for the use of literature in an EFL context. The research was conducted at the fourth semester students of English Program of IAIN Bengkulu in academic year 2017/2018 that consisted of 31 students. This descriptive analysis aimed to describe students’ exploration of semantic deviation in classical poem interpretation. The result showed that Wordsworth’s The Solitary Reaper used various kinds of semantic deviation in forms of language stylistics of figurative languages, namely: (1) semantic Bizarreness of expression that consisted of oxymoron and paradox; (2) transference of meaning that consisted of synecdoche, metonymy and metaphor; (3) Misrepresent the truth that consisted of hyperbole and irony. In a real analysis of the poem, the students were excellent in identyfying the kinds of language deviations. Then, they were very good at understanding the poem literally. However, they had problems in interpreting the poet’s real meaning through semantic deviation used in the poem because they needed more experience about lingistic, social and historical background knowledge of classical England, and biography of the poet.

Pressure ulcers (PUs) have a high incidence, especially in hospital units. Randomised clinical trials (RCTs) of therapeutic interventions for PU should include a clear description of the outcomes and results to enhance transparency and replicability.ObjectivesThe primary objective of this study is to assess the completeness of the descriptions of the outcomes of therapeutic interventions in RCTs in adult patients with PU. The secondary objectives are to evaluate the types of reported primary outcomes, measurement methods or tools used to evaluate the outcomes and the results of reported outcomes.MethodsWe will conduct a systematic survey of RCTs published from January 2006 to April 2018. The selection process of the studies will be done in two stages of screening: title and abstract, and full text revision, always by two researchers independently. The completeness of the outcome will be assessed according to five criteria: domain (outcome title), specific measurement or technique/instrument used, specific metric or format of the outcome data that will be used for analysis, method of aggregation (how data from each group will be summarised) and time-points that will be used for analysis. The quality of the results of the outcome will be classified as either complete, incomplete or unreported. We will conduct a descriptive analysis of the number, type and degrees of outcome specification in the included RCTs. The frequency of categories in each domain of the outcomes will also be reported. The median and IQR will be estimated for each element of the specified outcome (out of five).Ethics and disseminationThis will be the first systematic assessment of the outcomes of therapeutic interventions used for pressure ulcers. After completion, this review will be submitted to a peer-reviewed journals.

This paper examines the existence of humans in the vitalist thought of Nietzsche (1884–1900), one of the modern Western philosophers. This research is qualitative research using the descriptive analysis method. In this case, it attempts to describe and describe Nietzsche's vitalist thought and then analyzed it so that the desired results are obtained. This research shows data that in Nietzsche's view, the realization of the creativity of human existence is when humans can become the will to power "will to power" and this is the essence of humans being created on this earth. In Nietzsche's term, the human being whose existence is at its peak, he calls it ubermensch, namely man as the controller and determinant of his life, even the lives of others. Humans are free to do whatever they want to do. Even religion has no right to rule humans so that people live to rule each other. So, from that man has succeeded in utilizing his vital forces as a human..

Background. Due to the challenge of conducting observations of drilling team behaviours on an offshore installation during actual operations, a high fidelity simulator provided the opportunity to observe team behaviours when managing complex and uncertain situations. Aim. This article describes how such observations were used to develop a team behavioural marker framework subsequently used for debriefing. Method. Team behaviours and interactions were recorded during 25 simulator-based training exercises which had been integrated into a technical training course. These were then analysed, and four dimensions, with example behaviours, were identified. Results. The behavioural markers formed the basis of training objectives, and provided structure for debriefing team performance. The use of the simulator provided concrete examples of both effective and ineffective behaviours. Conclusions. Notable improvements in drilling team interactions and behaviours were noted over the course of five exercises, which ranged in complexity and uncertainty, throughout the training course. Enhancing team non-technical skills will lead to safer and more effective performance, and facilitate the transfer from training to actual operations. Team members also became more familiar with the concepts and terminology of non-technical skills and integrated behavioural markers into workplace practices such as Tool Box Talks, Stop Work Authority, and Time-Outs.

Abstract As the largest organ of the human body, the skin is colonized by a variety of microorganisms, most of which are harmless and have benefits for the host. This microbiota contributes to the metabolism and immunity of the host. The human microbiota includes bacteria, fungi, viruses and archaea, which inhabit various areas of the body. Most of the microbiota resides in the intestine, only a small part of which inhabit epithelial surfaces such as the mouth, airways, vagina and skin. The total number of microbiota on the surface of the skin is usually in the range 104 to 106 cells per cm2. Psoriasis is one of the most common immune-mediated inflammatory skin diseases. The prevalence of disease has been reported, with a range of 0.09- 11.43% by the WHO Global Report 2016. To date the causes of this disease are not fully understood, genetic and environmental interactions play an important role in disease progression. Recently, immunological approaches have helped to clarify the pathophysiology of the disease significantly. The skin microbiota has been shown to play a role in the pathogenesis of lichenified plaque formation in psoriasis. Corynebacterium, Propionibacterium, Staphylococcus, and also Streptococcus have been identified as the main microbiota. It has not been determined whether these changes in the microbiota are a cause or consequence of psoriasis. For this reason, further research on selective modulation of the skin microbiota is needed. This systematic review aims to elucidate the correlation between the microbiome and pathogenesis of psoriasis and the modulation of the microbiota that could lead to possible therapeutic interventions. Keywords: Microbiota, Psoriasis, Skin

This article aims to reveal the concept of logotherapy of Victor Frankl. This study uses descriptive analysis. First, the concept of logotherapy has three pillars in its philosophical foundation, the freedom of will, in this context every human being free to make choices to determine his own choice and destiny. The will to meaning, which every human being has the desire to have meaning in life. The meaning of life is an awareness of the possibility to realize what is being done at that time which then if successfully fulfilled will produce happiness. Second, in logotherapy, there is a noetic dimension which equivalent to the spiritual dimension, which tends toward the anthropological dimension rather than the theological dimension and does not contain religion. Third, the spiritual logotherapy dimension is different from Sufism. If Sufism spiritual affirms the sharia, then logotherapy departs from human existence. The implications of these differences give to a variety of happiness, both spiritual and physical.   Artikel ini bertujuan mengungkap konsep logoterapi yang diformulasikan oleh Victor Frankl. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis kajian ini menghasilkan beberapa kesimpulan: pertama, konsep logoterapi memiliki tiga landasan filosofis yaitu, kebebasan berkeinginan (the freedom of will). Dalam konteks ini setiap manusia bebas menentukan pilihan dan nasibnya sendiri. Keinginan akan makna (the will to meaning), yaitu manusia memiliki hasrat untuk memiliki makna hidup.
