The study was conducted in Oromia regional state West Shoa Zone in Ambo Town in case of “Consumer The mobile phone Brand Preferences of Local Made Brands to Global”. Mobile phones are today can be considered as one of ingredient in the life of human beings. But due to rapid developments in technology, modernization and new innovations, there is a short lifecycle of mobile phone, which has a great impact on the manufacturers and retailers of such products.  Then this study aimed to investigate the factors effecting consumers Mobile brand preferences local to global. The study employed both descriptive and explanatory research design. The target populations of the study were the mobile phone users in Ambo town of West Shoa Zone Oromia regional state, Ethiopia. The data was collected from 385 respondents by using convenience sampling technique. For data analysis descriptive (mean & standard deviation) and inferential (t-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regressions) were employed. Based on analysis the result shows the significance difference of local brand & global.  In addition the result of regression shows all variables statistically significant except innovation, social status, and price. This was because consumers were not affording imported brands. Then, it can be concluded that there was a significant relationship between consumers local brand preference and global. Therefore, it can be recommended that marketers should sell innovative brands to satisfy the desire of consumers.

The article describes the progress of the activities of the congresses of the Holy Alliance as a tool for establishing internationallaw and order, their results and significance for the development of international law. The tasks of the Holy Alliance were fulfilledthrough a system of international legal norms adopted at three diplomatic congresses. The first of them took place in the German cityof Aachen. During the congress, a number of regulations were signed, two of which are in the spotlight, because they enshrined theimplementation of the new international law – the protocol and declaration of November 15, 1818. The preamble to the Aachen Protocolidentifies France’s place in the system of international relations and European policy on the basis of the Paris Peace Treaty. Francebecame a full ally of Austria, England, Prussia and Russia. The second task solved at the congress was the fixation of the universal ruleof law, initiated by the Congress of Vienna in 1814–1815. Thus, there was an informal division of states into two groups: the first gua -ranteed the international rule of law, the second – pledged to comply with imperative norms. The significance of the Aachen Congressfor the development of international law lies in the introduction of the practice of adopting special regulations on diplomatic relations. The Second Congress of the Holy Alliance was regarded as two separate ones sometimes, since it was started at Opava, October23, 1820, and continued with a short break in Laibach until the end of April 1822. At that congress, a protocol was signed on the rightof armed intervention in the affairs of other states and the introduction of Austrian occupation troops into the Kingdom of Both Sicilieswas authorized. The Verona Congress discussed the issues of armed intervention in Spain, the recognition of Latin American countries, the fight against slave trade, the freedom of navigation on the Rhine and more.Despite the shakiness of the Alliance, its rather short lifecycle, the form of international communication itself has proved to beeffective and, at times, effective, and has, in fact, been reproduced in the form of the League of Nations and the United Nations. Theexisting provisions have created the basis for further interstate dialogue, expanding the range of international imperative norms andimproving the tools for their elaboration.

LiNixCoyMnzO2 (LNCM)-layered materials are considered the most promising cathode for high-energy lithium ion batteries, but suffer from poor rate capability and short lifecycle. In addition, the LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 (NCM 111) is considered one of the most widely used LNCM cathodes because of its high energy density and good safety. Herein, a kind of NCM 111 with semi-closed structure was designed by controlling the amount of urea, which possesses high rate capability and long lifespan, exhibiting 140.9 mAh·g−1 at 0.85 A·g−1 and 114.3 mAh·g−1 at 1.70 A·g−1, respectively. The semi-closed structure is conducive to the infiltration of electrolytes and fast lithium ion-transfer inside the electrode material, thus improving the rate performance of the battery. Our work may provide an effective strategy for designing layered-cathode materials with high rate capability.

Patent protection of inventions is an essential component of any high-tech industry. Microelectronics is one of the most rapidly developing industries with a very short lifecycle of its products. In addition to legal information defining the rights of the patent holder, a patent contains full technical information describing the invention essence. Translation of a patent involves certain difficulties both because of the information presentation style specific to this kind of document and the responsibility placed on the translator in connection with the possibility of incorrectly interpreting the invention idea, as a result of which the developer may become misinformed. The article discusses the main translation difficulties stemming from ambiguity of words and frequent use of general scientific words by the researchers to expand their own rights. Special attention is paid to the interconnection between scientific-technical and patent terminologies. It is noted that referring to patent search systems using the IPC is the most effective and prompt way to search for the most accurate interpretation of terms and expressions in making translation. To determine the specific features of translation, a detailed patent structure is given, each paragraph in which is characterized by its own lexical and grammatical features. A claim is considered in detail, because it is exactly this part of the patent that determines the scope of exclusive rights. The main legal meaning of a patent relates to the claim and is a combination of essential features, each of which is necessary and sufficient for a technical result, the achievement of which the patented invention is directed to. The availability of both the European (German) and the American claim construction models is noted. They differ from each other cardinally both in syntax and in presentation logic. Translation difficulties are analyzed. A conclusion is drawn that in translating all sources representing the essence of the patented solution, it is necessary to keep the unity of the terminology to avoid, in the final result, any ambiguity in interpreting the already known solutions and the new technical solution that is subject to patenting. Free interpretation of the invention description context is unacceptable.

Palavras-chave: Arquivamento da Web; Humanidades Digitais; Preservação Digital; Comunidades de Pesquisa e Práticas.ABSTRACT This work aims to bring the existing relationships between Digital Humanities, as an emerging field of inter and transdisciplinary studies, and the field of web archiving, which consists of policies, methodologies and technologies that involve the selection, capture, storage,  preservation and availability of web content for access and retrospective use. Web content has a relatively short lifecycle, since content producers generally do not care about keeping online access for the long term and that several efforts are required for success fully preserving digital content. Given this, it has been observed that the sense of community, one of the characteristics of Digital Humanities, can be an important factor for a better development of archives – both nationally and for other countries in the Southern Hemisphere, since most of these countries do not have web archives and, therefore, risk losing their web content and digital memory. Keywords: Web Archiving; Digital Humanities; Digital Preservation: Research and Practice Communities.

Purpose This paper aims to investigate the moderating impacts of seasonality on the effectiveness of new product commercialization strategies in short-lifecycle markets. The authors contextualize their theory in the vast and culturally significant entertainment industry sector and contrast the effects between independent films and big budget movies. Design/methodology/approach This study uses an econometric modeling approach. Findings This study finds that unlike new films by well-resourced studios, which must launch in a high season for best performance, independents can generate more revenue in low seasons under certain conditions. The study shows how seasonality moderates the effectiveness of new films’ commercialization strategies and how new product outcomes are different for small independent products than for big-budget productions with regards to distribution duration, advertising expenditure and product characteristics. Research limitations/implications This research extends the literature on launch timing, which examines various strategic tradeoffs. In contrast with the few extant studies whose concern is sensitizing to the effects of seasonality (Siqueiraet al., 2016), this research treats seasonality as an exploitable opportunity that can be strategically factored into business planning for small producers. Accordingly, this is the first study to theoretically and empirically investigate the moderating relationship between seasonality, marketing decisions, product characteristics and performance. Practical implications To achieve useful specificity, the study constructs its discussion around the highly seasonal entertainment industry sector. The study shows that seasonality moderates the effectiveness of new films’ commercialization decisions and that the strategic outcomes are different for small independent products than for major studio productions in particular. Originality/value In contrast with extant research whose concern is sensitizing to the effects of seasonality, our research treats seasonality as an exploitable opportunity that can be strategically factored into business planning. Accordingly, ours is the first study to theoretically and empirically investigate the moderating relationship between seasonality, marketing decisions, product characteristics and performance.

Today, in the field of packaging technologies there is an increasing amount of one-way polymer materials. Such materials after their short lifecycle are disposed, and such pose a serious environmental impact. However, PET is a good quality technical plastic; the recycled use must be provided. In our research, we have examined the recycled material of mineral water bottles. Chemical foaming of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) was applied for quality increased reusability. Significant results were achieved in terms of mechanical properties at specific mixtures of chain extender and impact resistance enhancer, at the foaming state of the injection moulding.
