Objective: philosophical reflection problems of the frontiers of science, knowledge and creativity in the modern intercultural integration; rationale for new interpretations and understanding of the concept "border" providing an integrative model for science and culture, which, in turn, implies the unacceptability of Orthodox approaches, and rigid demarcation between different spheres of cultural production. This explains the need to develop a "rational-reflexive culture" that meets the new demands of modern society.

One of the most important national identification indicators is proper names, first of all, names of people (personal names, surnames) and geographical names (toponyms). Currently, there are new trends and directions in the study of onyms. In the context of cross-cultural communication, in the context of the functioning of different languages on the territory of multilingual Kazakhstan, onyms have undergone a number of semantic and structural changes. This article is devoted to the manifestation of the results of globalization and national identity in the modern architectural phenomenon – residential complexes of the city of Almaty. The article focuses on the onomastic identity realized through the names of modern housing complexes (oikodomonyms), which contain valuable and rich ethnolinguistic and historical information reflected in the language consciousness of the people. For this reason, oikodomonyms are qualified as names that make up one of the zones of active intercultural integration, which, performing the function of onomastic identity, can be conductors of national identity. As a result of the analytical review, the need for special attention to oikodomonyms as nominative units that contribute to the revival and preservation of national identity within the framework of the program "Rukhani zhangyru: preserve and increase" is identified and justified.

In the era of migration, cities play an important role in integrating immigrants and promoting social cohesion. Sometimes they create and implement integration policies different from these at a national level. The state-run civic integration programs question the thesis of the growing role of cities as these programs have resulted in centralizing integration policies and reducing their role. In recent years, large European cities have been implementing a cultural diversity management model referred to as “intercultural integration”. They have also adopted mainstream policies targeted at the entire population. In terms of immigrant integration policy Polish large cities have recently been following a pattern set by their Western European counterparts. This results from the availability of European funds and trends towards cultural diversity rather than challenges.

The quick training of expatriates prior to departure meant to raise their awareness of cultural habits is insufficient to increase the efficiency of multicultural teams. Such improvement requires helping each team member to decipher the main cultural references of their counterparts and to organize themselves in a way that is acceptable in all of their universes of meaning. This chapter provides an example of such cross-cultural coaching for a Franco-Malagasy team and details the six-step method implemented by the cultural analyst. It also suggests different leverages for improvement depending on the team’s specific context. Whenever tight intercultural integration is required, organizing complementarity between sub-groups may turn out less costly than striving for complex arrangements.

The diversity transferred through the migratory pathways conveys new challenges to the higher education institutions regarding the conception of new strategies and educational resources that promote integration, interaction, intercultural dialogue, collective social capital, and individual skills. Thus, between 2016-2018, Bragança Ciência Viva Science Center in partnership with Polytechnic Institute of Bragança promoted the project “INTEGRA(-TE): Scientific Routes for an Intercultural Integration.” This project aimed a group of young foreigner students from a Community of Portuguese Language Countries who studied at IPB and lived in Bragança, using scientific, technological, pedagogical, and entrepreneurial experiences. The first edition of the project involved n=110 students and the second n=124 students. Overall, results from these editions pointed a very positive result and suggested an increased labor opportunity created by practical entrepreneurial actions.

This article, as an essay, aims to develop a proposal for understanding the integration of immigrants at three levels: through the emergence of a complex comprehensive scheme of individuals; adaptation to artifacts and processes; and inclusion in the basic functional systems of society. The essay seeks to propose a new thesis on integration, from a sociological perspective, through analysis and conceptual articulation from various authors (P. Bourdieu, A. Giddens, A. Schütz, M. Walzer, Ch. Taylor, among others). The conclusions respond to the need for mutual understanding in the processes of understanding, generating citizen scenarios that favor this process, recognizing the contribution of the migratory phenomenon, in terms of intercultural integration, tolerance and recognition of culture in egalitarian and fair actions. Integration implies a teaching and learning process about situations that occur in a pragmatic way in everyday life, where experts have a fundamental role. The inclusion of immigrants in society will facilitate their integration, which will depend both on the functioning of the systems, as well as on the demands of the immigrants themselves.

The world is becoming more complicated, which is confirmed both in the natural and artificial spheres. Complication can be considered one of the key characteristics of the development process, and complexity – an indicator of the difference between one stage of development from another. However, if the objective complication of the material and technical culture of mankind seems obvious, the legitimacy of the statements about the complication of spiritual culture requires discussion. Scientific and technological progress reveals a number of pathological processes of complication. Man finds himself in a complex socio-cultural space, in the world of self-developing system objects, accelerating the flow of poorly understood innovations. The initial intuition of this article is the statement that a person experiences complexity throughout his socio-cultural development. The paper presents the transformation of anthropological and cultural complexity in historical perspective. It is proposed to understand the anthropological characteristics of the phenomenon of complexity, as well as the peculiarities of its unfolding in culture. Represent a summary of the issues associated with finding antropocentric nature and complexity of the humanitarian strategy for its comprehension. Culture reveals a tendency of complication, which non-linearly correlates with the complexity of human consciousness. Primitive art and the complexity of ritual practices indicate an underestimated level of cognitive complexity of primitive man. The development of philosophy and theistic religions greatly complicates the spiritual life of man. Industrial civilization is experiencing a significant round of social complexity, actualizing the practice of managing complexity. The widespread complexity of economic life, the multiplication of the number of transitional identities, cultural forms, the trend of globalization and intercultural integration indicate that post-industrial society, on the one hand, is the result of recursively increasing complexity, and, on the other hand, reveals the complexity of a qualitatively different order.
