Educational tourism as one of the development sectors of tourism is based on the community's need for educational variations. Educational tourism is suitable to be developed in locations that have limited locations and are in areas with residents. Tukad Bindu, as one of the densely populated areas in Denpasar, has the potential to develop educational tourism. The fast flow of the river becomes an attraction and strength in the tourism development needed by the local community. The learning model and the introduction of caring for nature can be applied to the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu. In its development, the arrival of Covid-19 also affected the visit to the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu which was seen in a drastic decrease in domestic tourists for almost 8 months. Strategic steps are needed in adapting the covid-19 virus so that the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu can still run. This study aims to obtain a standard health protocol that can be done in entering the area of Tukad Bindu tourist attraction using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the research can be used in application during the Covid-19 pandemic, so that people can still visit the tourist attraction of Tukad Bindu by following the applicable protocol.

Local community participation in managing of local industry is important to tourism development in Sentani City, Jayapura Regency, Papua. The purpose of this study is to determine the participation of local community in the tourism industry entrepreneurship in Sentani City. The informant determination technique used in this research was purposive technique and the data analyze technique used in research was qualitative descriptive. The study result showed that local people in Sentani, have impulsive participation in tourist attraction business, waterpark, rent boats, and handycraft business. Coersive participation in rent car business, tour and travel, restaurant, and accommodation business. Induced participation in tour guide business.

Abstrak Pengembangan wisata alam berbasis edukasi memiliki tantangan yang serius di ranah mempertahankan eksistensi dan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Setiap stakeholder yang ada harus berani menjamin keterlibatan mereka dapat memberi kontribusi yang positif bagi keberlangsungan ekosistem kawasan pantai. Model Quintuple Helix memberikan posisi yang signifikan bagi lingkungan alami masyarakat untuk memperoleh perhatian yang lebih. Berangkat dari realitas, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari strategi yang ideal bagi kolaborasi pengembangan wisata berbasis edukasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini berupa konsep strategi kolaborasi yang ideal untuk pengembangan wisata berbasis edukasi dengan model Quintuple Helix. Melalui model ini dapat memberikan modal tambahan berupa manajemen berbasis kualitas pembangunan yang efektif, keseimbangan alam yang terjamin, serta garansi terhadap generasi mendatang agar tetap dapat merasakan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Abstract Educational tourism-based natural tourism development has serious challenges in the realm of maintaining the existence and sustainability of the environment. Every existing stakeholder must have the courage to guarantee that their involvement can contribute positively to the sustainability of the coastal ecosystem. The Quintuple Helix model provides a significant position for the natural environment of the community to get more attention. Departing from reality, this study aims to find the ideal strategy for collaborative education-based tourism development. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method, data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and document studies. The results of this study are in the form of a collaboration strategy concept that is ideal for education-based tourism development with the quintuple helix model. Through this model, it can provide additional capital in the form of effective quality-based development management, guaranteed natural balance, and guarantees against.

This research was in purpose of conserving river environment in developing sustainable tourism by empowering local community to control balance or harmony in life depends on local genius. Heterogeneous tourism potentials owned by Badung river’s area to be enhanced as new attraction, within eco tourism concept. This research designated by using descriptive research, since authors explored data and information regarding topics to get in-depth data for further research. In this research, authors wanted to identify designation of rain park in order to arrange Badung river as an environmental educational tourism region. Data were collected through observations, documentation, and interview with qualitative descriptive as analysis technic. The result of the research showed the development of alternative tourist attraction, namely Rain Park in Badung’s River. This tourist attraction is a part of community-based tourism that utilize element of rain and water as an attraction. Moreover, this attraction will be a viable and possible option to answer any water pollution issue among Badung river area.

Night tourism development comes up as an innovative strategy for tourism development in this current intense competition. There are four main elements in night tourism, namely economic, social, environmental, and night atmosphere. Berastagi is the most popular tourist destination in Karo Regency, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, which already have night tourism destination but unfortunately undeveloped yet. Night tourism development in Berastagi must be with the local wisdom approach to maximize its benefit. Karonese as the majority ethnic of the local community in this area potential to be developed on its night tourism. This paper only analyzes the environmental and night atmosphere aspects in Berastagi’s night tourism, which based on local wisdom. Qualitative primary data from field observation and depth interview results have been analyzed by using the descriptive method. The study shows that involving local wisdom in developing the environment and night atmosphere can give the typical identity for the night tourism in Berastagi.Night Tourism

The aim of this research is to determine the tourist perceptions and motivation that visit to Jembong tourist destination. This research was conducted at the Jembong tourist destination, Jembong District, Ambengan Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. The research method used is descriptive quantitative by distributed questionnaires to two hundred and twenty fivetourist that visiting Jembong tourist destination in Jembong district, Ambengan Village. A questionnaire consisted of twenty threestatements that refer to the theory of tourism development, which are tourist attraction, amenities, access and ancillary services and eighteen statements of tourist motivation that refer to the push and pull theory motivation. The potential tourist attraction in Jembong tourist destination are waterfall, trekking, and nature. The facilities are bathroom and change room, trash bin, restaurant, parking area, and gazebo. Local community who has an authority to make signboard and provided stairs and trail to facilitate tourists toward waterfall and trekking. Tourist information center made simultaneously with entrance ticket counter Jembong tourist destination. Promotion media at Jembong tourist destination are brochure, email and instagram. Maps of Jembong tourist destination is available in google maps therefore tourist easier toward Jembong tourist destination. The results of this research finding the higher of push motivation and pull motivation is related with beauty nature that suitable with the higher tourist perception to attraction are freshness air and beauty nature in Jembong tourist destination.

Cianjur Regency has a tourist destination that attracts world tourists, namely the Gunung Padang megalithic site. As a cultural destination in the midst of the community, the development of this tourist destination faces human and environmental problems. The purpose of this study is to determine the development of tourism in Gunung Padang which involves the participation of local communities. Through a qualitative descriptive method this study analyzes the forms of community participation in developing tourism with aspects of environmental sustainability in the vicinity. The participation of the local community in the Karyamukti Village in developing the tourism site of Gunung Padang is done by forming a community of lovers of Gunung Padang which is an embryo for the formation of the Tourism Driving Group or Kompepar. It can be concluded that there are positive benefits felt by the local community in the form of opening opportunities to open businesses that can improve the economic level of encouraging people to be more active in doing business and developing tourism in the region. However, the benefits of high mining are still a pressure on environmental sustainability in the region.

Angseri village is located in_Baturiti subdistrict, Tabanan regency, Bali. Angseri village has_Angseri Hot Springs as a tourist attraction. This tourist attraction has a special characteristic than another hot springs tourist attraction._The special characteristic of this hot springs is in the middle of bamboo forest. The management of this hot springs started in 2007 until now and this management still running well with many involved party in it. The research that will be done is_about how is the actual condition of Angseri hot springs reviewed on tourism product component and how is the pattern of participation in management of Angseri hot springs in Angseri village which the_management is managed by the local community itself.                   The research method used is qualitative descriptive with in-depth interview, observation, documentation, and literature_study. The data sources are obtained from primary and secondary data. The theory and concept used are concept of attraction, concept of management,_concept of tourism product component, and theory of participation_typology in management.                   The actual condition is reviewed from tourism product component located in Angseri hot springs which is an attraction that take benefit from natural potential in the form of hot springs, an adequate access, feasible infrastructures, and the completeness of supporting facilities. In the participation typology of local community in management of Angseri hot springs, there were well organization and management structure and the participation of local community which belongs to pushed participation. The Vredeburg Fort Museum became the main destination of educational tourism. Edu-tourism attractions offered by Vredeburg Fort Museum able to realize educational tourism experience and become a source of learning, not just a source of information. This research is a descriptive survey research. Data were obtained through a survey of 200 respondents selected by purposive sampling and analyzed using three box method. The survey results recorded Vredeburg Fort Museum offers a very varied tourist attraction, with a high index value, which is 150.71, while the learning experience of history science is 145.5. The results is Vredeburg Fort Museum applied cooperative learning concept through the implementation of several elements in the management of educational tourism, including; the team of planners, tourism content, events, local community involvement, tour operators, media, curriculum, teachers, educators, tour flow, and organization. The concept of learning is formed in two spaces, namely classroom and practical experience involving various stakeholders. The concept of learning is very effective to understand the historical messages offered by managers through collectibles, as well as bridges between educational institutions and Vredeburg Fort Museum to get practical training for learners.Keyword: edu-tourism, learning model, tourism experience, educator, museum


East Nusa Tenggara Province surrounded by many potentials nature-based attractions, one of them is Mulut Seribu beach, in the Rote Ndao Regency. This beach is one of seven priority tourist attractions by the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government. Local Government initiation is welcomed by the local community and this research aims to create a strategy to develop the Mulut Seribu beach attraction with marine-based tourism to support sustainability. The research type is using descriptive qualitative, with interviewing stakeholders from five key informants living around the tourist attraction namely government representatives, tourists, and the local community. The results showed that according to SWOT analysis Mulut Seribu Beach is among Curve 1, which means the development of this destination still aggressive to be developed with a concentration of development in SO, namely strength and opportunity. This result is shown by the Mulut Seribu festival as a form of coordination between community and government participation in developing marine tourism in Mulut Seribu Beach. The purpose of this study was to identify potential tourist attraction, reviewing internal environmental conditions (such as their strengths and weaknesses) and external environmental conditions (such as opportunities and threats), and review the appropriate tourism development program in the Long Beach-based to tourists and local community perspective. The analytical method used in this study, namely diskritif analysis to identify the availability of infrastructure and the potential and power trarik travel and quantitative analysis with the help of Matrix IFAS and EFAS matrix. The number of respondents who were taken by accidental sampling of 100 respondents. The results showed that the potential tourist attraction located in Long Beach with a score of +0.910 internal factors and external factors with a score of +1.90. Thus the position in the grand strategy matrix (matrix internal-external) are in a position with a growth strategy occupies one cell in the matrix. A cell's position one shows the strategy to grow and establish (Rapid growth strategy), strategies to increase the growth rate of tourist arrivals with a faster time (the second year is greater than the first year and thereafter), improving the quality of that factor into force in order to maximize the utilization of all the opportunities (grand strategy).
